Tarantino

Why is his second half so shit compared to his first?

tarantino.png - 702x670, 85.65K

telling that the bottom ones all have some woke-ish political shit in them like trying to piss off the racists in tarantino's head

Inglorious Basterds was so boring after the first scene and almost felt cartoonish compared to everything that came before.

So what will his final movie be about?

He had something to prove in the first half of his career, now he's just trying new things as he develops them (said by him in Joe Rogan's), therefore some weird desicions like making the Manson massacre film a hang-out movie.
Even he doesn't know, but he definetly scrapped The Film Critic

it's like kingsman but pretentious and with no fun

Deep rumours have it as a modern day movie inspired by BlowOut

Started making black and jew power fantasies because he couldn't cope with his mom being a massive coal burning slut.

Age of social media

Probably something based on a Cleon Peterson painting.

why are so many blacks gay?

He peaked with Pulp Fiction as is a victim of his own popularity after that point. Search your heart, you know this to be true

Watching Death Proof for the first time was a pure kino experience. No idea why he made such slop afterwards. Imagine wasting your unique talent on "did you know that Nazis are bad?"

Its not gay to get head only gay to give it. Making some tough dude into a faggoy especially isn't gay, it's the ultimate power move and the ultimate humiliation for the guy sucking.

i never watched jackie brown. tried it once and got bored a few minutes in. how good is it really?

scbu6b.jpg - 2822x2160, 452.84K

That sounds pretty gay, ngl

Pre and post "initiation". Lava coffee. Then he marries some yenta and moves to Israel after Weinstein goes down.

That's why you're the bottom

It's like watching someone you know to be a complete spaz behave normal when they meet your parents.

Kill Bill was also shit. Especially Volume 2.

Tarantino's filmmaking career peaked with true romance and even that was a 7/10 at best

Hateful Eight is his best movie however

a modern day movie inspired by Blow

Isn't that most of his movies

I wouldnt say "half" but after Sally Menke, his long time editor, died it impacted the films since an uno farto movie relies very heavily on the editing to maintain the dialogue.

Reservoir Dogs is extremely mid and i'm tired of pretending otherwise

correct, reservoir dogs was good and pulp fiction excellent, after that he just became the parody of himself.
once upon a time was pretty good tho

Menke passing really showed with Django Unchained. Yet the same person that edited it also did Hollywood which IMO is one of his best edited movies.

MK Ultra happened, same with most Hollywood people

westerns suck

kek

Once upon a time was pretty kino

le once upon was good

how? there is the scene with brat pitt and all the whores and that's kinda it

Italians made a few good ones

This but unironically.

If you cut out the self-hating-white gay dick sucking scenes and raplce it with something else i kinda agree

Why does he love feet so much though?

his only good movie is reservoir dogs and that's a complete rip off of city on fire

is she wearing a diaper

His middle stuff sucked (KB2 and death proof)

Everything else ranks from decent (KB1) to great (Django)

Still can’t believe this is a real scene in a major motion picture and everyone just went along with it.
Whites are honestly such a pathetic race.

great (Django)

kek

And the scene was literally purposefully trying to piss whites off and basically wake them up but they still just took it

Watched Gone With the Wind recently and realized Tarantino is a plagiarist hack. He cannot create, only corrupt what is good.

Django is perfectly edited, and imo could've used more action scenes. It's his best movie by far.

Death Proof doesn't belong in the first half.

He dropped the non-linear narration gimmick.

This. It’s firmly in his farting around pacing wise phase.

More like the last four fifths.

Because he's stuck in the same style and structure and it's the same shit over and over. he peaked too early with reservoir/pulp and has never been able to do anything different besides kb1

Gone with the Wind

Based. I need to do a rewatch of it soon.
It was pretty disappointing in the theater. Planet Terror at least embraced what it was, and that made it much more entertaining. Death Proof just meandered, had obnoxious dialogue from unlikable characters, and tried to save itself with a decent chase scene with impressive stuntwork from Zoe Bell.

basterds is his best movie

It's really good, might be his most underrated movie. Personally I think it's his best one.

wat

id agree except for once upon a time in hollywood is his masterpiece

Hateful and Django are heaps better than Kill Bill's though

Jackie Brown is what happens when Quentin bases it off a competent work (Elmore Leonards novel Rum Punch) and married it with one of his less obnoxious obsessions (70s era blaxploitation) without going too hard into an area that feels like parody. Probably his most mature feeling film.

You kinda have to be some leftoid Jew drunk on his own propaganda and think Hitler really was some kind of demon to get a lot out of that boring shit movie

made some of the most heinous anti-white flicks under The Weinstein Company

heh

it's not particularly good.

The main cultural impact the movie has is just “nazis being cool” scenes. I don’t remember any scenes except for the “rat catcher” and “three beers.”

the only thing i see still gets posted from that flick is the bear jew power fantasy scene or the scalping

The extended version ruins the movie. But the original version is pure whodunnit kino. I’m glad they didn’t put Django in the movie like originally planned though. Tarantula is going to be severely missed once he actually retires or dies. He’s an autistic fuck but that’s what makes his movies so good. He reminds of the days when vidya devs were just nerdy fucks in their basements that loved the shit they were making.

Why is "bastards" misspelled? I've never seen the movie.

He made it sound like it was some artistic embellishment and refused to say why. It’s probably just for either copyright or to make it possible to advertise in mainstream things. Can’t put a curse word in most commercials.

The extended version ruins the movie

what does it add? can't be as bad as dumb and dumber director's cut

How would you even know that? Why would you even watch that?

Hateful 8 is the worst of the bunch but yeah they're all shitters

QRD on Lava coffee?

You are both gasoline huffing retards. 6, 7, 8 are weak, but OUATIH is based as fug
Go back to sucking Bruce Lee’s dick, hippie

because the original dumb and dumber is kino. i looked for a stream and realized something is different only half way in. no one ever talks about how bad it is. every scene just drags on and the two main characters come off as deranged freaks

Kill Bills were also shite. They literally were "how many references to my favourite movies I can make, and how much violence I can add and get away with". Tarantino once said that "David Lynch had disappeared so far up his own ass that I have no desire to see another David Lynch movie until I hear something different", and this quote perfectly summarizes my feelings about Tarantino and everything he had released after Jackie Brown.

That's because they weren't westerns, at least the Leone ones weren't.

Nothing shows a person as the worst kind of Tarantino fan than proclaiming Inglorious Basterds as his best film. The plot is an afterthought, it's literally an entire film of "cool" scenes, most of which are quite predictable, being carried by Christoph Walz. The casting for half the Basterds is dogshit too.

Probably jews or niggers like before. Might even be about jewish niggers.

Kill Bills are his most enjoyable films. Not his best. Just most enjoyable. They are better movies than anything that comes out today.

The plot is an afterthought, it's literally an entire film of "cool" scenes

That was his 90's movies too. Admit it, that's what Tarantino does. All that's different now is he developed a fetish for niggers.

Not true, films like pulp fiction and Jackie brown have good engaging plots that develop in a coherent way, even OUATIH has more of a well structured plot than basterds. In inglorious basterds they literally teleport from scene to scene with perfect timing every time.

Kill Bills are his most enjoyable films

Too overblown and nonsensical for me. Tarantino is better at making smaller, more reserved movies. When he's given too much freedom, he reverts to demonstrating his considerable movie knowledge and vulgar taste; also, he puts too much of his petty and spiteful personality into them, which is a bit repugnant. He's actually anti-Sergio Leone: Leone could turn such a lowly genre as western into a proper work of art, while Tarantino does precisely the opposite (even when he blatantly rips off certain scenes from those movies).

it's a tarantino movie but it's very subdued and drawn out. feels more like a mini-scorsese film

I really want him to do one more "LA mobsters in suits" movie. At this point he could write something just as good or not better than Reservoir dogs. He could easily bring back some of the characters from both to connect it all and expand the universe

OUATIH is better than anything he made from 2000-2019

Deathproof is a snooze cruise

3>9>1>2>>>>>>>>uno farto>>>6>7>8

Accurate

OUATIH is based as fug

it's boring

it's a struggle to watch because of how empty it is, just like inglorous basterds

honestly only his first 3 movies are good

the rest are boring and/or annoying to watch

Not really, no. Pretty weak film overall.

Once upon a time was good though?

Uh huh, sure. Or maybe it helps not being so mindbroken about Jews.

Yeah nah. Quite literally his worst alt-history slop.

Anything that upsets racists is good art

Every single QT thread without fail

anons that claim his old shit was really good but then he started to suck

anons that claim all his movies sucked regardless of time period

anons that claim all his movie sucked expect [movie A]

anons that claim all his movies sucked except for [movie B]

repeat for all his films, doesn’t matter which - someone will glaze it

something about niggers

something about his editor so as to not give Quentin credit for anything good he’s made

something about his mom being a whore

This is why he’s such a renowned filmmaker. His movies are just good, regardless of how much people want to be contrarian. Personally, I didn’t care for Jackie Brown and Reservoir Dogs, but anons will trip over themselves to tell me how those are masterpieces while in the same post shitting on the director.

opposite, any kind of propaganda shit is always an AMAZING red flag for something not being worth your time. it's almost like magic

a depressive foot doctor who tries to cure racism

That's not the opposite. Anti-racism is a legitimate artistic position and art is art, propaganda is not art

once upon a time in hollywood is his best movie besides kill bill

anti-racism is propaganda thus not art. also anti-racism is just anti-White

Kill Bill broke him

you people are braindead subhumans, i have no interest in arguing with you

once upon a time is le good!

Can someone explain what's so great about it? Concretely not some buzzwords. It has 3 good scenes tops and so much filler

Oh, so you haven't seen it then

his only good movie is once upon a time in hollywood
