I watched it. Early morning morning IMAX show, and there was a fair few people there. Felt it dealt with some darkish themes fairly well and it was unexpected. Some of the story felt uneven. The whole press conference thing. For a movie of essentially b type heroes pretty good.

They didn't have any of the big name Marvel guys (even Bucky always plays second fiddle) so they actually had to make a decently fun film.

Sentry is notorious for being unreliable, to the point where its kinda pointless even having him. Anyway, the new fantastic four its going to introduce Franklin Richards, and at that point every story becomes irrelevant.

Watched it this morning in cinema. Cried like a bitch. A lot more character driven than previous movies. Florence carries the movie. Bob is great. The only one underdeveloped is the lady that turns invisible and can pass through walls.

The action scenes are fine, even the one where Sentry is manhandling these dudes is good, when posted as CAM with no sound it looks like shit but in cinema it's ok.

Depends what you mean by "sufficient". I don't think there's enough of him, personally, but he gets some good characterisation and he is in the right so many times. You learn why he's ends up being an asshole to the group and he also ends up becoming more like his previous FATWS self.

All I would have liked with that scene is a bit more oomph behind the attacks. That said, the overall scene was pretty great.

Unironically yes, it was good

I think it's intentional. It makes Sentry look otherworldly. It's almost comical in a way. Unless they say they had do handicamp that scene because of budget I think it was intentional. Again that doesn't make it good, that's just how I'm seeing. All the other action sequences were great.

Saves the MCU

There is no girlboss here ... unless you count the villain. But really I just watched it and it's actually pretty good. A lot better than I thought it would be, in fact. But the resolution is a little too rushed and they could have built up the allegory a bit more.

And if you're depressed and feeling alone, you should watch it. The story is about getting over the trauma holding back instead of feeding it your stagnation and anger.

Yeah, he wasn't out to hurt them at all, even the ones who he didn't know. Although he didn't pull his figurative punches quite as much when it came to Red Guardian and Bucky, he clearly still was.
Sentry was surprisingly a good character.

I actually thought they were pretty respectful to the character in general. He's in the right more than once and is portrayed as very competent.
He's an asshole, but a loveable asshole, and has some valid reasons for being the way he is, becomes a beloved hero by the end.
