I don't have any thing to say about those works. But we do know that Mark (the earliest gospel) was written somewhere around 70 AD, so 40 years after Jesus death. It's author was anonymous and the author likely wrote down the oral accounts that were passing around that time. So you have basically a game of telephone for 40 years, until someone writes it down in 70 AD. But we don't have complete manuscripts (of Mark) until the 3rd century. So you have scribes copying the account letter by letter, word by word, many times over hundreds of years. We know that scribes from the 3rd century on made edits for various reasons, so its reasonable to believe the scribes also made edits from 70 AD until the 3rd century.

The best we can tell, the Historical Jesus was an Apocalyptic prophet (Like John the Baptist) who preached that the kingdom of god was right around the corner, that you should baptize yourself to be cleansed of sins. He also likely believed that he was the Messiah (but not literally god). The Messiah was the king of the Jews, the anointed one, but not god. All the stuff that points to more than that are more recent and likely additions from later Christian thinkers in the 1st century. John for example was written down even later than 70 AD and paints Jesus in a more universality and divine light.
