i have a decent local cinema that plays films old and new, and i can get tickets for £1 because i'm a NEET. can go see something like 2001: A Space Odyssey on a weekday afternoon and it's just me.

It's been a common issue for at least 10 years now, it's because companies think everyone has a 7 speaker setup at home when that's not the case. It's just laziness on the sound mixer's part.

Agree, specially when you're tucked in bed. When I first got a 27" monitor years ago, for some time I would still put it on my bed when watching a movie just like I would do with a laptop.
