Are you talking about the wedding dance moves?
how do I make good webms?
what recording software and editing software should I use?
yes
This dude's raping form is terrible
I am personally using video recording feature in potplayer, it has decent GUI options to make video clips including webm VP9 format.
He is probably not used to women refusing his coercion for consent

Why did they make the character names so weird on this show?
3rd episode was weaponized cringe, makes star trek seem natural
The empire will allow some concessions in exchange for more political control
ENERGY INDEPENDENCE
ILLEGAL FARM LABOR
MONEY LAUNDERING WITH CHARITIES
I watched one episode of Andor and blew up ten government buildings. Andor, not even once.
They left without him
Thoughts?
Still no X-Wings
they were shown in the behind the scenes video for a second or two. they're definitely coming.
Every scene with this fucker makes me feel miserable.
Aw did they? I didn't notice that. Best little droid. I thought I would hate it but he's so confused about why people are fighting. It's like a sad puppy wondering why all the people it knows keep leaving him
how is it rape if nothing happens
It's "SA" because typing "sexual assault" apparently triggers people
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPEEEEEEEE WARS
INDEPENDANT
doesn't belong in Star Wars
why
It wasnt a rape and just a rape attempt. People have been trying to embellish it to whine about it
based imperial kabedon
He argument is that it's "for kids" but the counter argument is slave Leia and Anakin killing a room full of 8 year olds and then the counter argument to that was "but it was just implied and not shown!"
Also incest
Space Nazi doing what actual Nazi were doing regulary from France to Eastern front
doesn't belong in Star Wars
How could anyone watch Andor and think "this is for kids"
Kids see more mature content out of youtube every day.
Kids would think it was fucking boring
I never finished S1, but I did read about it. This character has already been horribly fucked with, right? Is the writer just using her for his fetishes?
mindbreak in season 1
I think it's fine since it shows more of that imperial corruption or whatever. Even at lower levels like just guys conducting a census, they'll use whatever authority they have to keep people beneath them down. It at least has a purpose, which is more than I can say for what we got out of the acolyte. Whether or not it objectively belong in Star Wars, that's something you'd have to ask Lucas.
Why did Tony steal this entire arc from Rebel Moon? Having their grain planet occupied by space fascists isn't much, but then also having hostilities escalate when one of the space fascists attempts to rape one of the heroes, when this has never happened on screen in SW, is a bit on the nose.
Yeah she's constantly getting fucked over. So far she's lost a couple of her best friends, her boyfriend got killed, but he was also a pretty bad guy, the Empire tortured her by forcing her to listen to the sounds of dying children and now she almost got raped. I don't understand why her tragic arc is so complicated to Twitter/YouTube fags. She's being pushed to suicide bomb a school at this point.
the amount of brainrot required to type this is unfathomable.
Rebel Moon was supposed to be a Star Wars project first, so it's more like Tony's taking it back from an even bigger hack.
Many Bothans were RAPED to bring us this information.
He argument is that it's "for kids"
meanwhile one of the best Star Wars book
Chewie had to kill frenzy baby wookie who aims at Han's throat
merchandise tie in slop
is retarded exploitative slop
oh wow, you were making a point there?
Why did Tony steal this entire arc from Rebel Moon?
To make fun of Snyder
better cast
better writting
better sets
>merchandise tie in slop
???
Did I stutter, faggot? Or do you not understand English language?
Stealing from Rebel Moon
That explains why this is so bad.
I read this when I was like 10. It's an okay book but the cover oversells how edgy and R rated it is
sounds of dying children
Did the torturer survive season 1? He seemed like a nice guy.
You know what I love about Andor?
The extremely low FILTHY FUCKING NIGGER DENSITY.
Pretty good cast really. All the main people are doing a good job. Still don't know why this show is called Andor when he's barely the main character.
Still there were great moments.
Imperial officer making it's way across infected, but not yet dead ship.
Wookies
Doctor arriving back in med bay and founding it empty
Doctor amputating kid's limb
Well Bix had a nightmare about the guy in S2 so far so if he's not dead he lives on in her mind
maya pei's retards on yavin iv thoughbeit
Why did that mechanic from the premier have such a ludicrously large ass?
Disney already made "Resistance" animated show and "Rebels" are now associated with this guy
Also, the reason might be that Gilroy originally planned 5 seasons, each to cover 1 year of building Rebellion mostly from Andor's POV
Reminder that Blandor is utterly soulless dogshit. It appeals only to teenage midwits from letterboxd and twitter film crowd, who think Nolan, Villeneuve and Eggers are the hottest shit ever, but something actually complex and designed to be thought provoking and requiring effort, like Tarkovsky, Bergman, Godard, Eisenstein and other actual filmmakers are "boring". So they settle for that kind of "serious" and "adult" capeshit — it's still capeshit, but, you see, it's kinda "serious", "dark" and "adult", even though it is fundamentally set in the universe of silly super people wearing spandex suits and capes, based on the literal children's media. The perversion and subversion of said children's media seems "smart" to them. But in reality, it is inferior to both. It is nothing but joyless, pretentious, ugly drivel that adds absolutely nothing in terms of narrative or themes, and only exploits the name of the IP in order to promote the author's unnecessary, obnoxious "take" on what he considers fundamentally below them. Utterly irrelevant, pointless, needless story, without a single creative bone in its body. It's revolting. All you need is characters talking constantly without actually saying anything, and a bunch of forced, cringe, emmy bait monologues to make midwits lose their shit. Embarrassing.
Actual Star Wars has infinitely more substance and depth than any culturally irrelevant thing Disney and/or (heh) Tony Gilroy have come up with in his career.

Does the Empire have anything in terms of real ideology or sense of purpose, or when you get down to it is it just power for the sake of power as that is all Palpatine is seemingly interested in?
doesn't belong in Star Wars
If Darth Vader's allowed to have the backstory of being a slave with a bomb in his neck on a planet with savages who brutalized his mother, a random woman can be struggle snuggled by an imperial officer. It's fair game.
And teenage Han Solo showing up just because
They could've called it "rebel rising" or something. It's clearly not a show about Cassian Andor
One is done tastefully and thoughtfully, the other one is done as cheap shock value, because retarded showrunner thinks we are all product of rape, he is 14 and this is deep.
teenage
He isn't teenage
I remember he's pretty young in it? Well my kid brain at the time imagined him being about my age when I read it.
always remember that you are not allowed to complain about jarjar because star wars is for le keedz.
Star Wars is a Flash Gordon-inspired serial adventure for families — a mythological fairy tale, distilled into a space opera format. It has a sense of wide-eye wonder, the aliens, the goofy music, the silly robots, the big space battles, and yes, the lightsabers, the Force, the princesses, the desert shaman, the evil samurai guy in all black choking people with his mind, Sergio Leone inspired space cowboys and pirates, the humor, the charm, the goofiness, the actual spirit of an adventure film made for families. Andor is none of that. It is the opposite of that. It is the antithesis of that. It's a generic sci-fi NBC drama in space london. It has nothing of Star Wars, other than the occasional usage of legacy memorabilia, such as Stormtroopers, TIE-Fighters, etc. — and even those feel grossly out of place when seen next to extremely generic, "grounded" and bland original designs of the show, such as the nigger with AK in the woods. Andor is "Star Wars" made by r/atheism. It is especially evident when it tries so, so hard to be "adult", that it becomes embarrassing. "Look! We have character saying SHIT! Now THAT'S MATURE AND SUBVERSIVE! LOOK! WE HAVE A BROTHEL! LOOK! THE CHARACTERS IMPLIED TO HAVE SEX, LOL!" Really made me cringe.
Using the power dynamic that she's an illegal & he can deport her.
This is what makes it retarded, it's the blue hair obese feminist writing.
serial adventure for families
a mythological fairy tale
Literally pick fucking one, you dumb mutt
Good job on outing yourself as illiterate retard.
Dialog with Gore Vidal
What did he think about Star Wars?
Did they kill Tey just because he was a useless drunk?
American popular culture
Just call it a pulp and be done with it
And yeah, actual myths are fucking brutal. From Olympian to Hinduistic myths and folklore
I thought they weren't supposed to say "retarded" in that side of the fence?
Chuds are the ones upset about the rape because portraying fascists as rapists disparages their just and glorious Empire.
Luthen believed that Tay would keep asking Mon for more money/blackmailing her. Tay also wanted to ask Davo for some money in exchange of information and could have tell him about Mon's involvment with the rebels.
Literally a series of films and shows about how the empire is evil.
Some faggots come away thinking the empire is great.
I mourn for humanity.
This reminds me of all that shit about how Chucky and Pennywise need to be pro-fag despite being literal embodiments of evil.
I can understand the opinion that Star Wars shouldn't deal with sexual violence, but the way he framed it just seems wrong.
doesn't belong in Star Wars
i always found it funny that here in the UK, the original Star Wars films are U (Universal - not even PG) when they contain torture and dismemberment. the first film does actually show an arm sliced off with blood, and i think the BBFC passed it uncut (blink and you miss it, i suppose).
if he pinned her down, gagged her, camera zooms out, fade to black, rape, what's wrong with that? we know it's a bad thing. they exploded a whole planet in a children's film. billions of deaths. genocide. horrible stuff.
(in one of the early 70s interviews Mark Hamill casually goes from talking about fairytales to a real-life war story of a Vietnam vet whose wife was raped or something. i mean, it's war. shit happens. we understand it's bad.)
How nostalgia baity will this season get? I want a speech from the Emperor.
x.com
get BTFO by fucking Mauler and Critical Drinker
Lmao, these grifters are starting to shit on themselves with their dumb opinions
So far there's no nostalgia aside from I guess Yavin 4?
I don't have a problem with the depiction of attempted rape, just the explicit use of the word in Star Wars. It could have said "he tried to assault me" and that would have been good enough.
Yeah mostly because he is emotional unstable and woul demand something in return for his services
He never attended the raping course at the Imperial academy on Coruscant and it shows.
I want to betray the Rebellion so Cinta would come and murder me.
Yes Imperial Officers probably raped muh undocumented people but seeing it depicted onscreen came as a bit of a surprise. It's like if Paw Patrol had an episode about pitbull crime statistics and showed police brutality with the german shepard police dog fucking up a pitbull.
He's also completely wrong about WHY Vader would kill the officer. He wouldn't do it out of sympathy for Bix, or because it's wrong, but because the officer is fucking around on duty. Sith kill people for incompetency.
Either way he's immediately going to pick up on the death as something suspicious
From what Syril believes, their mission is to bring law and order to an extremely corrupt and chaotic galaxy. The show makes sure to point out that the Empire is somehow worse at this than the Republic was. But no, there doesn't seem to be a purpose except control. It was a great irony that the meeting for the massacre is being sold to people as energy independence when Krennic is actually sourcing material for the Death Star
I guess season 1 really was a fluke. This is turning into Arcane all over again.
Rape them!
get it it's like blast them but rape them
Struggle Snuggle.
The nostalgia will be in 2 weeks when Starkiller is introduced and is promptly killed off by the Emperor in an epic battle in the Senate room, leading up to the dissolution of the Senate
How can Sheev be the Senate if he allowed the Senate to exist for another 25 years?
imagine getting told you're in trouble for a bit of rape by your boss who slaughtered a bunch of eight-year olds on his first day on the job.
Vader wouldn't tolerate that shit
Based child murderer who tortured his own daughter and helped genocide Alderaan draws the line at forcey fun-time.
Someone already mentioned it but I unironically love how this arc did the Rebel Moon thing but actually good, with better sets, acting, and writing.
Since Mon Mothma is working to make the government like it was a couple of decades ago you could argue that she's a reactionary conservative.
"vader wouldn;t tolerate that shit nor does the empire condone it" no shit retard, but a system with unnacountable authority being dished out to unstable petty tyrants will naturally lead to shit like this
what an irredeemable moron. cant believe i even gave him respect for shitting on disneywars when in hindsight that was the bare minimum for sentiance.
kek
What is the Rebel Moon thing? I didn't watch that.
Vader's opinion would only change if the rape (or murder) was necessary for the specific objective. If the rape is needed for something like enhanced interrogation, then he'd be ok with it. If it's just some officer using his on-duty hours to fuck around and rape the locals, he'd be less tolerant of it. It's like slacking on the job. Rape-for-fun is for off-hours only.
Hot take: Leia is the least attractive of the main SW girls.
I'm not sure. Andor presumably ends at the beginning of Rogue One, which covers like, a few days, right? And it ends at the beginning of ANH. So it is realistic to see the Senate get dissolved in Andor. Starkiller randomly appearing just to die would be fucking kino though, but I think that betrays the point of Andor being subtle with their nostalgiabait.
that guy isn't really a chud, he's just a retarded manchild that has a boner for vader
She's a libtard and her libtardedness is why everything devoles back into rebels and stormtroopers with the sequels.
Yes. Meanwhile, Palpatine is a Commie-Nazi, who favors turning the Galaxy into a tyrannical shitpit like Russia or Germany. Or China.
i miss him
into a tyrannical shitpit like Russia or Germany. Or China.
So americans wetdream?

He's a cute little boy
So americans wetdream?
Only if you're from west coast or east coast shithole cities, like Portland or Seattle.
mon doing the shots & dancing
Why are they making me like Mon's husband? He seems like a cool dude now.
He always was.
He's rich, married to a Senator and friendly with the upper echelons of the regime, he knows that all they have to do was toe the line and live the high life.
He was the only sensible character, and the one who meta-called out this dogshit show on its shittiness.
What good's all your uncle's work if the Empire takes it over?...You know they've already started to nationalize commerce in the central systems...it won't be long before your uncle is just a tenant, slaving for the greater glory of the Empire.
Wait, the Empire is communist? Then why is everyone larping like the good guys are all leftists?
now that rape is canon in starwars, how many white women do you think get raped by the hutts on a daily basis?
SA
Just call it rape. God I'm so sick of this censored nuspeak.
Anyone who thinks Jabba didn't rape Leia before her rescue is retarded.
now that rape is canon in starwars
It's still not on Wookieepedia...
Can't wait for the article written in past tense.
0, in Disney's canon it's only women of color that are victims of rape.
But the point stands, middlemen who have power over peasants often exploit them
Season 1 only worked due to the prison escape plot, everything else wasnt that good
Wrong, heist final was great
Covid lockdown gave Gilroy the creative freedom to do whatever he wanted filming season 1 in Europe and it paid off.
Luke, did I ever tell you about rape?
brehs
My favorite part was corpo security arc.
She looks too much like my sister
episode is titled Harvest
is about a child marriage
Bravo, Tony!
mom trying to be progressive
daughter rebels by being traditional
This entire marriage plot is literally tailor made for zoomers. They're not even trying to hide it.
And that whole undocumented citizen thing was tailor made for millenials. They're just handing red meat to all the focus groups.
She isnt doing shots & dancing in the same scene
webm related is her doing shots
Then she dances in:
thanks anon
undocumented citizen thing
I don't get it, why do you need visas to go to different planets? They never talked about getting paperwork done to travel to other planets in Star Wars before.
I also think that when Gilroy was writing this he knew Trump would win and would suspend the Fifth Amendment.
I dont even remember anything in season 1 other than the prison escape arc
I don't get it, why do you need visas to go to different planets?
Because passportization is one of the main instrument of controlling people's moivement once centralised government takes over.
Also, picrelated
Mon Mothma has depth and character now
This is the same person that canonically disbands the military after the Empire is defeated and allows the First Order sequel shit to happen
Assassinated by bad writing, sad to see.
I mean, i don't get it..do men in star wars not get horny? is rape completely non-existent in a galaxy far far away ? It probably happens even in Star Trek in their little perfect society, realistically speaking.
Happens when you get a bunch of shit writers to write for Star Wars. A tale as old as 1977
Pretty sure Disney just accepts the fact that the sequels are considered noncanon by the fanbase.
The only reason they keep putting out sequelslop is because they're trying to demoralize people.
need sauce
"Maryland man" is a native of El Salvador, a wife beater, a gangmember, and received full and complete due process.
do men in star wars not get horny?
According to Lucas-purist they all castrated themselves in solidarity with Vader
I remember Saw & Luthen and the latter's monologue
is a native of El Salvador, a wife beater, a gangmember,
Care to remind us, why none of this was proven at the court?
sounds counter-productive in an empire where the goal is to have more soldiers, i don't buy it
Wife filed the paperwork accusing him.
Guy himself openly admits he's a native of El Salvador and has never suggested otherwise.
The gang tattoos are on his hand.
If you didn't know any of this then research it before discussing it.
Star Wars OT was an allegory for the vietnam war where the Empire was USA and the Rebels were the Vietcongs
Does Vader ever get envious of the imperial officers whenever they have sex and/or rape? Like seeing rape doesn't offend him but makes him go 'god I wish that were me'?
Wife filed the paperwork accusing him.
But then said she filed under the government pressure.
The gang tattoos are on his hand.
Such as..?
If you didn't know any of this then research it before discussing it.
I don't need. All what I need is court's decision and documents.
I mean it would make sense to implement such system considemakig it harder for rebels to move about undetected
People who liked George's Star Wars are upset about the more mature direction Andor is taking and they aren't sure how to express it.
Forgive them a few retarded takes for now.
What vehicle is this called?
Tbh I don't think imperials are doing much of the rape if Vader is around because most of them are focusing on not being force-chocked for incompetence
Its probably beneath him, he gets off from the dark side using rage & power
can someone summarize that wedding plot? I wasnt paying much attention at that parts and was bit drunk
Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251
her kid is a cunt
mon sold her off for money to fund the rebellion
Are you part of it?
and they blow you up, boom!
"how wude" said the funny cartoon CGI rabbit man
And that's the point. It's something horrific seen through the eyes of an innocent child who doesn't grasp the full extent of the situation he's in. That's what makes it tasteful and thoughtful.
He was issued a stay on deportation until such a time that his country was no longer unsafe for him to return to. Except the country he was not to be returned to wasn't El Salvador so that stay doesn't apply to El Salvador. In addition, El Salvador is now one of the safest places on Earth so he wouldn't be issued a stay on deportation for El Salvador anyways. Anyways, I've given you every lead you need to investigate on your own. If you choose to remain in ignorance then you have no one but yourself to blame.
I don't think Lucas would ever explicitly include rape in his children's stories, but he also never would've made Andor since it's not for kids. His mindset was always about making something kids could enjoy.
join the Empire
get to rape hot illegal chicks
Is this show a recruitment ad? Just gotta avoid the wrenches.
Mom is progressive.
Daughter is traditional.
Mom tells daughter she can be anything and do anything.
Daughter is angry that her mother keeps trying to pressure her to be a strong and independent woman.
It's a story about a mother whose daughter is inheriting none of her own values because she spent all her time working.
The Kaminoans were making clunny?
How does a hutt rape a human anyhow?
idgi, they both seem to not want the wedding to happen. Just last episode the daughter was mad because her groom was "a child"
I've given you every lead you need to investigate on your own.
And I did by reading court's documents, where government fails to prove any of the points you've mentioned and recognised deportation occured by administrative mistake.
End it. Support Israel
because she wants proper man to fuck her retarded
How does a hutt rape a human anyhow?
with its tail, right up the humans ass.
bags hung on the outside of the vehicle
Sounds like a great way to lose all your shit.
Lucas implied rape without actually having to use the word.
What do anons think of them releasing them as 3 episodes per batch?
It's a story about a mother whose daughter is inheriting none of her own values because she spent all her time working.
kek, where have I seen this story before?
Part of what?
Jabba likes to watch.
Fun, it's like watching a movie but the sequel comes out next week.
why are you out of breath? what are you running from?
Lucas implied rape without actually having to use the word.
well he should have
great save for the fact i'm watching at 3-6am and my sleep suffers
last time I got up early to grab the torrents was raised by wolves
HE TRIED TO R*PE ME!
ngl she is some prime orange jail bait
Post the one where she gets captured by pirates. And the one where she gets slapped on the ass.
Who knew the Tarkin Doctrine had a section dedicated to rape as a weapon of fear?
He tried to grape me!
Heist plot was kino, particularly the location
Finale with his dead mom inspiring the revolution was cool too
And the one where she gets slapped on the ass.
I can provide that one.
Imagine Vader in HR meetings
It was ridiculous, Luke, like a constant porno you wouldn't believe.
Mon is hot as fuck
Based and rapepilled
ngl would
S1 worked as it felt interconnected and that it was all building up to something. The other characters had their own storylines going on but, it all did centre and lead back to Andor, with each character converging on the funeral. We are only 3 episodes / 1 arc in but, this feels more disconnected and there is less progression. I get what they were trying to do with Andor being with the rebel cell that was infighting but, it did not really progress Andor as a character in terms of his story or development nor was the eventual outcome surprising or rewarding.
Vader wouldn't condone rape. Not because he disaproves of it, but because his dick was burnt to a crisp on Mustafar.
How do you respond without sounding mad.
He isn't interested in women not named Padme.
And Padme is dead.
You fought in the Rape Wars?
YOU TRIED TO RAPE HER, YOU SICK FUCK!
is it worth a hate watch like the boys?
her daughter and Bix are much hotter
Rape is inherently tied to left-wing regimes and left-wing mentality.
It's considerably rarer in right-wing regimes, unless it's tied to some outside factor.
It's nowhere near as bad as the boys. It's actually watchable.
It's all building up to the massacre
Syril and the ISB agent are going to figure out it's for the Death Star since it's a secret project and he can't stand anything being "off the books"
Mon is going to be involved directly trying to prevent the Empire from getting what it wants but has no idea what this is about until it's too late
Andor is going to set off the massacre by doing something stupid while on a different errand for Luthien just like Krennic wants. The sister is involved somehow!
The only thread I don't really see anything about yet is the rebellion itself, which is a complete nonentity in this show so far. The massacre is supposed to be the inciting moment for the whole war but I'm struggling to come up with something the Empire hasn't already done and successfully covered up
It's all building up to the massacre
Too little was done to build that up. Only one short scene with Krennic. That's it. The rest of the episodes were useless shit. Which was not the case in S1, where each arc actually had two episodes of proper build up.
Heist plot was kino, particularly the location
I remember some parts of the location and the visuals being good, I will give you that
Finale with his dead mom inspiring the revolution was cool too
Barely remember any of that
Vader would be emotionally and morally apathetic to members of the empire committing rape - he would only me motivated to punish it if it compromised or interfered with some goal or operation he was pursuing. Why is he acting like Vader is somehow good? This is someone that betrayed his fellow Jedi (including killing children), chocked his pregnant wife, tortured Leia, was fine with a defenceless planet getting destroyed, and all the other things we can pin on him. Meanwhile, Palpatine is evil for shits and giggles; at most Palpatine will only be anti-rape if it somehow undermines his power. Besides, this is an Empire within which there must be millions of people in its service, you may as well say that the President, or Prime Minister, or Mayor, or Chief of Police or whoever and society at large does not tolerate abuse of authority in the police, but it still happens.
rape is only ok in Star Wars when its in a cartoon for kids
a film that shows how trump is evil
a film that shows how germany is evil
a film that shows how white peepoo are evil
yeah... i wonder why some people might think the empire isn't too evil after all, or perhaps play along with the fact that star wars is "literally just ww2 propaganda" which doesn't pretend to be fair or impartial
this is typical anglo-jewish shit
I do not think it is connective at all in the same way S1 was. It so far seems like they are all going to reach the same endpoint simply because they are the ensemble characters, rather than how in S1 Andor was the connective thread that led them to the same endpoint. Maybe the next batch of episodes may be different, but in that case it sort of seems liked they pissed around wasting time with the first 3.
No, it's too exceedingly boring and slow. Ungodly amount of filler. It's really quite insane.
boring and slow. Ungodly amount of filler
Don't play dumb.
It's the best way they could have done it. If these three episodes released one by one each week I probably would have dropped it.
I am a tourist
perhaps you should be watching the show made for people like you... and fuck off
there's way too many boring ugly women talking and i'm not even a chud
kino
I wonder what Andor could have said to actually get out of this situation. There has to be something.
Christ, that's shit.
How did this happen? How did the world's most obnoxious, untalented assholes take over Hollywood?
Pretend to be an undercover ISB agent in the midst of some operation - though obviously backfires terribly for him if he gets his bluff called. Really though, whatever he did it seems like he is going to get arrested as it just seems like the trooper is either power tripping or has been told he just needs to round people up.
so they wear suits now too? like wtf? George Lucas didn't even want zippers because he thought it was too earthlike
Too bad everyone in this show but Mon is going to die
Tourists don't run.
That's probably one of the dumbest ways of doing a sci-fi tie I've ever seen.
thought it was too earthlike
I don't particularly like the suits they are wearing, the polo neck and weird tie I think are worse then just putting them in actual suits, but, I don't think we can say Lucas' thoughts have much weight in this regard if he says that and sees no issue with a 1950s American diner on Coruscant.
He's safer where he is.
What does Niamos even mean?
But I'm not running
Nothing wrong with Dex's diner. It doesn't look out of place next to everything else in the prequels. It was a different era. Andor is OT era. And it doesn't look like it at all.
Dex's Diner actually looks pretty different from an actual 50s diner when you start to look at the details. Also, didn't Lando in ESB kinda wear a suit?
deport
Idiot, they wouldn't deport her back to Ferrix, they'd send her to a labor prison halfway across the sector like they did to Andor. Palpatine's draconian anti-rebel laws are still in effect a year later.
A rape prison?
You got that right. That window is shut.
Top kek same gaggle of spastics that cry over jajar, ewoks, or who shot first alderaan or han solo
It is a planet - the planet that Andor got arrested on. That actual music also appears in S1 in the first episode at the club Andor visits - youtube.com
Music as it appears in the actual show youtube.com
I was jogging.
Star Wars is a Flash Gordon-inspired
never actually read Flash Gordon
You need to calm down, sir.
It is a planet - the planet that Andor got arrested on
Is that where the Groom is from?
ENERGY INDEPENDENCE
That was weird. Energy independent from whom? Is the Galactic Empire not galactic? Who else is out there for them to be dependent on?
Nothing in the scene suggested the Empire would condone it; it's a low-level officer taking advantage of authority, most likely against regulations, in the Outer Rim where Heaven is far away. Mountain out of a molehill.
Wasn't Sam Witwer the one wearing the suit in this scene?
You talking about the one Mon's daughter married? I was under the impression his family are from Chandrila. It is just that his father is basically not part of the Chandrillian aristocracy or whatever upper-class they have.
yes
the empire is great
The Empire is great; not everyone Imperial is.
uncredited, could be urban myth , it was shot in england
I'm just going to the store, it's right there!
Why is everyone in Chandrilla shouting Niamos during the wedding celebrationsif none of the family members are from Niamos?
When did the SS milf and the young cadet become a couple?
Over the course of an off screen year I guess
What's the prolem with Tay Kolma hanging out with Davo Sculdun exactly?
Also, why was that lesbian woman looking grim the whole episode, what's her fucking problem?
I can't remember a single thing from season 1.
there's a pegging deleted scene
Lando basically wears a polo shirt with a cape that looks like carpet curtains draped over him. Part of me finds it looks fucking retarded if I actually think about it, it is only by Billy Dee Williams being that smooth it ends up looking good. It is a case of the man makes the clothes rather than the clothes make the man.
at the imperial sex-camp on Rammos 7
It's a disco outfit.
Droid assistance, please.
In the very distant background Ghorman has been having a trade dispute with the empire, presumably about the mineral they're planning to strip mine from it. In Season 1 the Empire embargos the planet and Mon has a scene in the Senate opposing it.
Yeah, George throws out any of his "rules" for 60s nostalgia or nostalgia from when he was a kid
Sculdun is basically a gangster and keeping him blind to what Mon Mothma is doing with the "foundation money" is vital to keeping her cover intact. He cannot be allowed to have her under his thumb.
I think the idea they are going for is that is just some number galactic hit in the setting. It is the same as real-world weddings playing pop music at post-nuptial party.
god I wish people wore capes again.
Damn, they are going to do him like they did to Howard.
Tay
Because Tay may either tell Davo drunkenly about the rebellion stuff or tell Davo about the rebellion stuff to get money.
Lesbo
She and the Indian one are in a relationship - they mention it this batch of episodes, it present in S1 although not really that prominent. She is mopey as she hasn't seen her for however long, and then when she sees her at the end the emotions of not seeing her hit and that she realises that she is only there to assassinate a family friend.
a non-issue as you easily missed a point made for keedz
That's the cover. They need the mineral for the Death Star but they obviously can't say that. It's the only reason Krennic is involved.
Thank you explainers.
The crux of the dispute is that the Empire wanted to install Imperial inspectors on Ghorma, which the Ghormans took as an insult because they're prideful as fuck about their work and outsiders who don't get it shouldn't be auditing them. Some homegrown whackjob killed an inspector on Ghorma and the Empire cut off their shipping lanes as punishment, but everyone who's anyone lusts over Ghorman twill so the lanes reopened after suitable time and diplomatic gestures. Now, a year later, the Empire wants to mine Ghorma for a mineral they need for the Death Star weapon reactors, but it risks destroying Ghorma in doing so, so they need a reason to "move" the Ghormans off world (or dispose of them entirely) without anyone getting mad about it even if it means Ghorman twill goes extinct.
The Tie Avenger cockpit is so fucking big
The Avenger is big. Completely contrary to what Sienar had been pumping out for the Imperial Navy up until then.
hes definitely a rapist.
The Tie Avenger
it also has artificial gravity, extended life support and faster than light travel engine
You do know how Fascism works right? They disenfranchise "undesirable" groups and divy up that groups wealth among the capitalist class, until they run out of "undesirables" and then just start expanding the definition of "undesirable" further and further as they have to keep inventing new qualifiers for why this or that person isn't white enough or German enough or what have you so they can steal your wealth and give it to the Capitalists, until they run out of even that and are forced to start invading other countries to steal their wealth. This is basic history. Like what do you think the Nazi's were doing with all that confiscated wealth they took?
Tightest of closed circles!
The energy independence for the Final Solution of UNLIMITED POWER
we need to go to war with the space spiders to build the death star
HE TRIED TO RAPE ME
The quote that echoed through the galaxy
But what if SHE raped ME?
You've not been talking to any Ghormans have you mate?
if they want moral complexity then have a rebel officer and go unpunished because he's too valuable
And then some desert-dwelling hillbilly blows it up anyway.
It's not color correction, if you try to clip something that is 4k it doesn't work right because the clip doesn't have HDR
They're spiders? Kill 'em all. The only good bug is a dead bug.
Can't say I blame him.
I suspect we'll get Rebels doing awful shit later in the season. Gilroy is clearly setting up heroes and villains for both sides on display; Andor himself is a multiple murderer and not just of Imperials.
I reckon if he offered to buy the guy a drink or bribe him he would have been fine.
They even ripped off Starship troopers with that video in the conference room. Those spiders are definitely going to do some killing later on
