In pretty much all episodes in the later seasons, it feels like they shy away from the actual worst things that could happen with the technology. Especially sex related. Probably scared of the "you should never write racism/sexual assault in media" crowd. This is why one of my favorite episodes ever is 15 Million Merits. Didn't shy away from it, and made it tastefully tragic.

This is the biggest one for me. I feel like most people's families would be willing to chip in between themselves if the alternative would mean their sister/daughter/aunt etc would be dead otherwise. Even if they wouldn't, he'd at least have them know and understand if she had to die in the future.
