That was a "good" episode I suppose. But nothing about this feels like it's been built up to or earned at all. And it's all on the ashes of everything Netflix built in the first 3 seasons. I hate this so much.

Yeah I was talking about the comic books. In the Frank Miller run alone, there's like three instances where he could have offed him for good.

The problem with this show is that most of first season is build on that shitty original draft that disney tried to save and you can feel it despite reshoots. This episode was better simply because it was fimled from stratch instead of fixing it in reshots. it sucks that we basically need to wait for second season to see if born again is even capable of achieving similar quality level as previous netflix seasons (yeah i know half of s2 sucked but punisher was kino)

Hell I enjoyed the "bad" part of s2 more than this.
At least that still had all the same behind the camera people making everything look and feel the same, the fights were still great, and as dumb as the rest of the Netflix shows made the Hand, they at least felt like tough ninjas. Aside from Karen's one comment about the patriarchy, there was no sjw shit in the writing.
