What's the best Power Rangers series and why is it In Space followed by Time Force?
Power Rangers
its all the same!
Grow up. Power Rangers is for babbies.
hollywood demons episode 3 is crazy, is there a power rangers curse for real?
What's the best Power Rangers series
The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World.
power rangers was so violent back in thw day that kinder garden kids would come home in bruises after trying to recreate the stunts from the latest episode
That's not Power Rangers tho. That's Super Sentai.
inb4 No difference.
It's clearly an homage to MMPR, and one of the characters that later appears is clearly an homage to Kamen Rider.
It's clearly an homage to MMPR
No it isn't.
Fuck the title of the show says SENTAI RED.
Fine. Tell me how its an homage to MMPR.
shinji got cake
For me its In Space, Ninja Storm and Lost Galaxy
RPM > Time Force > In Space > Power Gap > The rest > Power gap Operation Overdrive.
I don't know but I rewatched the movie with Ooze and it was god awful.
Don't watch the Turbo movie, it's 10x worse
BURY THE LIGHT DEEP WITHIIIIIN
Personally I can't stand the humor in Ninja Storm. Usually I love campy, but they overdo it to the point where there's almost no sincerity. The ranger suits are great though, easily in the top five.
Zeo
This is what put me off when I watched it as a kid too
Time (Time) Time Force Power Rangers Time Force
Time (Time) Time Force Power Rangers Time Force
TIME FORCE
TIME FORCE
(instrumental)
Powwwwer's on its waaaayyyy
Raaaangers save the dayyyyy
Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue!
Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue!
Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue!
LIGHT
SPEED
GO (weeooweeooweeoo)
I kinda like how the villain let his nieces paint his nails.
Lightspeed Rescue is really good it was probably the last one that took itself and the plot serious and when I rewatch it I like how its about the gooberment fighting demons and the demons have an egyptian theme to them. Man vs nature type shit.
That one episode covering the entire history of the rangers
Loved that one. So nostalgic
SPD EMERGENCY
Wild Force had a lot of soul.
ENTER!
It did an Eco-friendly message without being cringe.
Plus them fighting on all fours is really cool.
The episodes where the current rangers team up with the old ones
Always blew my child mind
HERE COME THE POWER RANGERS
HERE COME THE POWER RANGERS
HERE COME THE POWER RANGERS
MYSTIC FORCE
As someone who recently finished Lightspeed and just got into Time Force, TF is slowly getting up to LR's kino level. It starts lighter (despite some moments like red ranger getting killed on screen and pink ranger going rogue to take revenge on the merc mutant) but is just as solid and I'm liking how the other characters get more focus instead of it being all red ranger all the time like LR. I'd recommend TF if you haven't gotten to it yet since it has plenty of serious stuff and the quantum ranger arc has been great so far.
I'm 33 so Mighty Morphin' to Wild Force.
His
That was then...this is now!!
always stuck with me.
Here's what Tubi has for Kamen Rider, is any of it good? And I don't mean good as in your shitty tastes, I mean Time Force good.
Not only in Space has great drama (by power rangers standards), why with the Andros vs Astronema (siblings theme) but it also perfectly gives closure to the show as a whole (until that point).
If i´m not mistaken (it´s been a while after all) this is the first season to ever bring together all those generations of rangers fighting across the universe, not to mention is the one on which Zordon dies
It´s honestly the perfect time to just call it quits after that.
I wanna watch that Kamen Rider that's gross like the Guyver.
Why the fuck did he do it bros?
Counter argument:
youtu.be
THE SIGNAL
IS CALLING
Carranger is wild.
Kino character
The only Kamen Rider I've really enjoyed are the sort of body horror ones done by the director of Zeiram
Astronema is best girl
Great show but didn't Yellow hate getting famous from Power Rangers or something? Seems ungrateful.
Underrated for sure
also perfectly gives closure to the show as a whole
Always bugged me how Zedd has this killer design but was never a final boss at any point, he was basically just always a joke character.
It is really fucked-up that the actors got paid less than fast food workers.
Why didn't they just dub over the original sentai shows and air it like that?
Culture shock.
Remember Jelly Doughnuts in Pokemon?
Kuuga and Ryuki are good. Geats and Zero-One start off strong and fall off. That being said, these series are better than most of what PR has to offer outside of nostalgia.
Objectively, the best are probably Lightspeed Rescue and Time Force, but I have a real soft spot for Jungle Fury. I wanted to love Samurai because it has my favorite ranger suits, but the constant Red ranger wanking/angst got really old really fast.
FACT: the standalone series are the best and the ones where the ranger powers are technology with no magic are the best.
Built-in capes
Coolest Power Ranger suits
Is Zeo tech or magic?
Really? Damn, I was gonna go for that one later.
I like jungle fury a lot
Watch it for the Divatox cleavage.
But Mystic Force, the most magical one of all contradicts your point.
Hi. My name is Chad Lee and I'm the blue Lightspeed Rescue Power Ranger, here to inform you that I am also in this episode.
How do you respond without taking up any and all screen time he could have had?
I only really watched the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers 90's version and I burned out the tape from watching the movie almost everyday. I was too old to watch the newer series except some of Dino Thunder.
It's a shame they never did this again. They repeated the dino theme almost four times, but we've only gotten capes once.
FACT: Power Rangers theme songs should only be rock.
He was a Scuba diver... *shrugs*
Lightspeed Rescue's costumes will always be the great filter
Who cares about him or anyone else when you got Carter motherfucking Grayson on the team.
He gets mermaid tail, that's reward enough. He doesn't need screen time.
I dunno...
ok ty, im gonna watch Kuuga
With how TF starts, it would have been perfectly fitting to have the girl be red ranger for once. Don't @ me. TF has the best pink ranger of all time so you know I'm right.
Can anyone tell me WHEN this shit is gonna get subs? Its been out for like a month now.
The best? Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger easily.
Well you got your wish in SPD, which had a female Red ranger that was written out of the show for the majority of the run.
Carter and Joel made the show for me
Childhood is being a Power Rangers Watcher.
Becoming a Man is being a Kamen Rider Enjoyer.
Yes, but also I wish they'd kept making unique themes for each of the shows instead of just recycling the Mighty Morphin theme from Samurai onwards.
Did they really? Damn that is lazy.
I think they started making them different again at Beast Morphers when Netflix bought the rights, but that's not saying much sense that theme was ass. Haven't watched any of the shows beyond that.
I've never heard anything about Zeo or Turbo so I have to assume they're mediocre at best or just straight up bad
All Power Rangers is bad. No exceptions.
This but unironically.
but it's le sincere
So is plenty of past media, so why focus on these ridiculously bad wannabe wuxia trash shows?
but my le nostalgia
The only believable argument. Japanese sentai/kamen shit is literally the same thing but better, PRfags wish they could get into it but refuse to watch anything with subtitles.
Zeo's opening theme is probably one of the best, and the Machine Empire is my personal favorite group of villains because they balance comedy and being a serious threat pretty well. What Zeo kind of suffers from is not changing up the setting and formula from Mighty Morphin enough when it was already getting a little stale.
Turbo did some controversial things like having a child be the Blue ranger and Divatox being especially hammy. It wasn't bad, but it doesn't really stand out.
Mine WAS unironically.
Its fucking trash.
It's an easy thing to be self-conscious about, and she probably didn't want to be type-casted. She also had a lovely singing voice.
A W anime?!
Been living under a rock?
en.wikipedia.org
Old man here. MMPR-Space. Also the one with the bat shit insane red ranger, Cole or something like that
You mean the one from Wild Force? Did his actor do something crazy? Or are you just referring to his backstory in the show?
Did children even watch Power Rangers in the past 20 years? Is the fanbase all nostalgics from the 90s?
All nostalgics.
Bummer
In Space is only liked for having the best outfits and finale
This was, and is still, the coolest shit.
Grow up. They copied that shit from Gaoranger.
Even as a wee lad I recognized Time Force's finale as pure kino
M8 they copied the whole fucking franchise from Sentai.
Kamen Rider is just power rangers with blood. Same cartoony costumes and effects just blood and you manchildren thinks that makes it edgy
I didn't read a single post in this thread (and I'm not going to read a single post after I make this one) but I wanted to let you all know that MMPR is the only one worth watching and if you disagree you're wrong.
There will never be a more Chad red ranger
You are wrong and a retard and you don't have to confirm to me you read this post because I know you did
Kamen Rider also has better storytelling
As does Super Sentai
That being said, they're all kids' shows
Then watch that instead of Power Shitters.
As much as I like Tommy the Quantum Ranger was the best 6th ranger IMO
He killed his roommate with a sword.
I NEED MORE QUANTUM POWER
Why was he the only one who managed to make it big and not go schizo in later life?
He's talented.
He didn't make it big.
Voice acting in anime dubs is not big.
Most underrated season
They just had an arc where the Power Rangers versions of the Kizuna Red shows up ackshully.
It's a shame they never did this again.
They did it again in the source material.
Name one scene with even one tenth the energy of this exchange.
Do not deflect or change the topic. Just name one scene even partly comparable to this.
SPD is probably my all time favorite I can watch it back to back
I didn't say power rangers or sentai was better retard just that kamen riders is the same exact shit with the cartoony costumes
You haven’t been fighting us, you’ve been fighting for your life.
And you’ve proven your will to live is stronger than any Ranger power.
oof
it said morphin so that means PR
That's a stretch.
the only good things about turbo is the main theme and divatox cleavage
Do not deflect or change the topic. Just name one scene even partly comparable to this.
PRfags can't even follow basic instructions lmao. If it's "the same exact shit" you should be able to post a scene that's comparable. Your attempt at humblebragging crabs-in-a-bucket bullshit failed. Go back to X.
Sixth rangers are unnecessary.
He's literally a random white guy who doesn't even use the proper character name, instead using "Power Soldier."
I didn't say power rangers or sentai was better retard
See just like PR and Sentai nerds you have a thin skin and throw a temper tantrum over the slightest critcism
Now show me what it says in the original version.
Kamen Rider is just power rangers with blood.
Same with the 2 Mortal Kombat movies, just wannabe edgy Power Rangers.
It’s a suspect is actually innocent episode
Now show me what it says in the original version.
Power Soldier.
Y-you have a thin skin
You literally couldn't follow basic instructions and instead had a meltdown when you were asked to substantiate your claims, lmao. Project harder, nigger.
Now come on, try to post a scene that's comparable. Any reply that can't follow this basic instruction is just conceding and admitting you're having a hissyfit.
Yes
You literally couldn't follow basic instructions
You were asking me to do something because you thought I said sentai or PR was better and I never said that and you are throwing a temper tantrum now that your whataboutism failed
Yellow's episode in Time Force when she's worried the future is changing too much and she won't see her family again, the part where everyone gives her encouraging words one by one and runs back to the fight morphing mid-run.
Bug themed
Nice.
I should probably start reading the manga. The anime has me laughing so hard I need to pause and back up because I missed 30 seconds of dialogue.
Still not Power Rangers reference.
You were asking me to do something because you thought I said sentai or PR was better
Quote me in where I said that. All I asked was for a scene even vaguely comparable, since you alleged they're the same.
As you've continued to not do so (because you can't), you've conceded to having a temper tantrum. Good job!
Not even a PR original scene, lmao. That's just a madlibbed Super Sentai scene, and the character was originally a man struggling with falling in love with a woman (something American shows refuse to show lmao). Try again, how about something actually PR original this time?
while anime is popular, western kids of various races still find asians weird and offputting generally. You can grow out of it, but on playgrounds everywhere you still have kids slanting their eyes to make fun of asians.
Name one scene with even one tenth the energy of this exchange.
I accept your concession. Kamen Rider is edgy children shit and I never said PR or Sentai was any better. Sorry your low IQ subhuman whataboutism failed
Pretty sure this show and Mega Man X gave me a vore fetish.
Where does that indicate I interpreted you as saying PR or Sentai is better? You said it's the same thing, just with blood. I asked for you to show a scene even vaguely comparable in Power Rangers. You didn't. Because you can't. Because they're not the same.
I accept your concession, and also your hilarious ESL attempt at trying to claim "Whataboutism."
NTA but you got BTFO.
What's it a reference to, then?
I accepted your concession
NTA but he didn't
ESL still can't read
The only concession here is yours. Says as much right here:
As you've continued to not do so (because you can't), you've conceded to having a temper tantrum. Good job!
You're accusing people of being "low IQ subhumans" but you can't even read properly. How would you feel if you didn't have breakfast this morning?
I
NTA
So are you that anon or are you not? Do you just spout random shit and hope no one notices you're speaking gibberish? Are all Power Rangerfags this autistic?
He literally did.
You're mom's gaping vagina.
I accepted it we are good anon
NTA but that anon was right and you are wrong
I think anon is going to continue shitposting until someone states that Square isn't going to risk a lawsuit by actually naming the MMPR in their publication. At that point he will post a wojak and declare himself the winner.
He did not
If you're not that anon, why do you keep going "I" in the conversation as though you are that anon? Are you genuinely retarded?
I wasn't in this conversation but I see three other people making fun of you so I'm joining in. Lol you're a profoundly retarded nigger.
You might be completely retarded then. The joke is that they're other variations of sentai reds. one is a fansevice character from a girls version, another a westernization.
What part of you were wrong don't you understand?
NTA but he made a fool of you
You still haven't posted a scene comparable to the one I posted. If they're the same shit, you should be able to. Why is this difficult to you?
You said name one scene, I threw the ball right where you originally had the goalpost.
You said name one scene
From PR, as that was the core subject of the conversation. What you described was not a Power Rangers scene, but an adaptation of a Super Sentai scene. Do you credit a modern Broadway actor for the writing of Shakespeare when they quote Hamlet?
This is why I stopped going to Anon Babble toku generals
Too much autistic screeching
I accepted your concession remember?
Kek you rekt him and he immediately moved the goal post
Is that camera man on roller skates? It's just two people talking, but I feel like I'm getting vertigo watching this.
Anyway, a far better scene than that is in Time Force. The yellow ranger has an existential crisis realizing that they might have altered the future and thereby destroyed their family and homes. She asks her teammates to promise her that it's all still there, and no one can.
ESL still doesn't know what accepting concessions means
Accuses other people of moving goal posts when you moved goal posts in
ESLs are fucking embarrassing with argumentation. You genuinely don't even know what you're writing. You're quoting shit you don't understand. Like an orangutan with a keyboard.
an adaptation of a Super Sentai
What do you think PR is lmao
Still accepted
kek gottem
Obviously neither is super edgy or mature, but as a kid I always thought Time force felt like it was too soft and pansy after Ligthspeed rescue. Hated how the villains had the "not all bad", especially after the LS villains all being fuckevil demons. TF green came off as really gay, pink and yellow were both masculine, Red and Quantum were cool though
heh you know the REAL show is sentai and sentai and kamen rider are much better
why do you fuckers do this every thread? I'm not going to watch modern Japanese kids shows. Maybe some ones from the 70's and 80's where the girls are cute and the stunts were closer to hong kong martial arts movies. But I just want to talk about comfy shows I watched decades ago. You fags have to make everything about modern Japanese shows.
I know you people buy the fucking rider belts made for little Japanese kids too.
Is that camera man on roller skates? It's just two people talking, but I feel like I'm getting vertigo watching this.
It's explicit framing. The man was a swimmer with Olympic prospects but a near-fatal heart condition forced him to retire from what was going to be his lifelong career. He's talking to a woman who was experiencing a similar alienation. His face is intentionally pointing towards the water as he's reflecting on the past (even when the camera rotates he intentionally turns his head towards the river to keep the focus there), and as she realizes he's relating her situation to his, he focuses on her as they become "parallel." There's a quick cut to her face to show her reaction, but after that it resumes the rotation as he begins to explain how to cope with lost dreams - at the same time he mentions it, a lush and verdant area (without the water visible) is shown in-frame before cutting to his face where he's clearly looking in that direction. Visual metaphor meets internal inspiration as he realizes he can use the flower allegory to explain how to cope with her situation, and how he himself does it (and basically finally admitting out loud he's become very hopeless in himself). This is very intentional framing by director Hidenori Ishida, who loves environmental framing (in particular with rivers) and uses it in his work often.
Power Rangers doesn't have anything like that. It's just cuts to faces with no actual camera movement of relevance. And that's not even going into how the dialogue is directly blending with the cinematography and the actual subject of the conversation.
why do you fuckers do this every thread?
Because its true.
I'm going to be not gay and post webms
why do you fuckers do this every thread?
1. It's true
2. You don't really talk about the shows, you just obsess over actresses who find you repulsive
3. You probably have paid a Ranger actor for a photo/autograph. People who immediately bitch about people paying for anything are always the biggest paypigs themselves because all they can think about is money and how to waste it.
Blue is my favorite so far, kind of a soft-spoken adrenaline junkie badass
That was a big paragraph of babble to justify bad camera work, anon. At least it will make good pasta for defending shaky cam.
NTA but that wasn't shaky cam. That was literally a camera on a dolly.
Literal basic hollywood shit. Like the basics of the basics.
shaky cam
It's a steady camera on a dolly. The fact you can't ready it just tells me you're retarded.
The point of pasta is to replace a few words to make a different argument. It's not defending shaky cam, but it can easily be made to defend shaky cam because it's nonsense either way.
I like that most of the Time Force rangers weren't these big personalities.
Green, Blue, and Yellow were kind of thrown into a mission to help and weren't confident on whether they were cut out for it or not. Just like how Wesley had to grow into being a leader the other had to grow into finding their niche in the team.
dolly shot
nonsense
You need to just stop posting.
Poster on the TV & Films board doesn't understand basic filmmaking technique that is older than his grandparents
Shocker.
Same
I haven't seen that used as a reaction in a long long time
don't care.
We need another Disney era.
That is all.
You cared enough to reply.
I forgot about this thread for half an hour.
Will probably forget again.
Goodbye.
I want gay black transexual rangers who are confined to wheelchairs
Why?
I cared and I asked
Typical liberal gay man who was so obsessed with making the female green ranger a dyke it was his hill to die on. He then seethed when Nickelodeon wouldn't let them kiss.
Gay black transexual rangers who are confined to wheelchairs are kino, now take this post very seriously.
Kamenfags can't prop up their own shows without shitting on Power Rangers.
Power Rangerfags can't even praise their shows at all, lmao. There's nothing original to praise.
sees exactly one Shadman drawing mid season
Don't know how she landed the part but it sure wasn't for her great acting skills.
The character from the Sentai is in so many fights and scenes they had to keep her in so they just grabbed any old Asian bitch that fit the suit.
None of you can articulate what makes Turbo supposedly bad aside from it having a kid ranger which tells me you all got your collective opinion from youtube. By the way, Lightspeed Rescue's seventh ranger introduced in its Lost Galaxy crossover is a kid and LR is everyone's favorite (because youtube told you to like it) so I know you're all hypocrites.
Power Rangers is bad by default.
Kamen Rider Dragon Knight
It's built on the skeleton of a Sentai season that is ostensibly the exact opposite of everything Turbo wanted to demonstrate. And I'm not even gunning for a "hurr Sentai better" argument, it's just Carranger is meant to be wacky and strange since the writer wanted to write it like some of his other contemporary works which were similarly wacky and strange. Full on gonzo story-telling, not really classic good and evil (the heroes are powered by car-themed constellations and the hero is a 75 IQ stooge everyone makes fun of). That's a lot harder to play straight than using ancient dinosaur fantasy heroes but they didn't want to keep season skipping like they did with Dairanger and Kakuranger and were running out of useable footage, and so you get a terrible concession.
Also Lightspeed Rescue is cool because Carter is cool, and hero stories focused on actual real life rescue workers like firefighters are just awesome. It helps it used one of the most electric seasons as a baseline and didn't try to downshift or break off too far from the core aesthetics of it.
Literally the opposite
Lightspeed Rescue's seventh ranger introduced in its Lost Galaxy crossover is a kid and LR is everyone's favorite (because youtube told you to like it)
When was this? I don't watch youtube reviewers, but I wish LR got more appreciation, I always remember it being heavily overshadowed by Time Force, and LG/LR are also overshadowed by In Space before that raising people's expectations(even though I'd say LR is stronger than IS beyond the callbacks) Is LR better loved these days?
Anyway, Turbo gets hate because the first half is really spinning it's wheels doing the same tired MMPR formula a season after Zeo was already testing how much they could stretch it. A lot of people acknowledge late Turbo with the cast change is much better and more ambitious
Justin might be unfairly maligned but the show also had no idea what to even do with the gimmick for most of it.
In your dreams fag.
I still kek at that derp expression.
Oh wait wrong clip.
Carter hogs the screen too much but he's definitely great. Probably my favorite moment of his
demon clones himself
titanium fighting one clone while the rest deal with the other
red ranger has demon dead to rights with one and a fifth finisher weapons
it's pointed out both red and demon could die in the blast
demon eggs him on to shoot, red nopes out to go help titanium
demon about to fuck up red from behind, red reels around and blasts both weapons point blank at the demon
Pvre cinema
Dragon Knight was so odd. It was very hokey and 4kids'd out in all the ways you'd expect but it was a far more sincere production than pretty much any Power Rangers show up to that point due to Steve Wang being a tokusatsu fiend for over a decade by that point (He did the Guyver movies purely because he believed they'd be perfect tokusatsu adaptations and also seriously wanted to get his buddy Koichi Sakamoto directorial credits to put in his own resume) and made sure the stunt team was immaculate for their original fights, plus got a bunch of guys from Toei to actually come over to help figure out original filming and design ideas based on Ryuki. Plus he got Mark Dacascos for the exclusive reason that he was going to be the first actual Power Ranger when Saban first started pitching a Bioman adaptation.
And for some reason, CW hated it! They did everything they could to smother it despite the fact it was clearly an affordable and passionate, if very goofy and juvenile work.
Turbo stunk because the tone and the Tommy wank for most of it.
Tommy lost his luster as a character after Zeo.
They tried to continue the stuff from Zeo and it just wasn't good.
They also had a cast swap that kids had to get use to.
Then you had the tone, which most of us didn't know the source material was super goofy, like more goofy than your usual Sentai show.
The Power Rangers showrunners didn't want to commit to goofy early on so they tried to mix serious Tommy shit with goofy Carranger Red shenanigans. When they switched to C.J. they started to lean into the wild and zany monsters stuff.
We lost Zordon at this point. Dimitria sucked.
Turbo had a lot of changing and not being as interesting as previous series and I say that as someone who didn't like Zeo.
The Turbo team being coming the In Space rangers was the best thing to happen to them because they weren't taking up a slot of another ranger that left. And the story was better for all of them.
The later half of the season where they tried to go their own original route lost me.
He gets a lot of screen time, but it's tolerable simply because PR's showrunners only really bother to do character writing when a character is in focus, so as an accidental consequence Carter actually developed quite a lot more depth than most PR characters do and that lets him be genuinely interesting. If they tried seceding more screen-time to the rest of the case, then it would've been 5 sub-mediocre characters instead of 4 barely relevant characters and 1 really entertaining one.
You mean the aliens and clones stuff
Yeah it was kind of hare brained
Dragon Knight is pretty shit despite a passionate staff.
Yeah probably
In general, stunt/FX director driven shows and movies in America tend to be weak in writing unfortunately. In most cases, the best you get is a cult favorite.
The writing was dumb with a few interesting ideas (Ryuga being a good guy and veteran of the shit going on was an interesting take) and lots of goofs like the ayy lmao face Dacascos whipped out sometimes, but in terms of actual production it was really good. There's a reason it won an Emmy and not a single PR show did.
youtube.com
It was a Daytime Emmy in a category that no other fucking show at the time had any stake in.
Let me say this once again, since apparently it was not made clear when this video series began. History of Power Rangers has no set schedule. Videos are done when they’re done and will be released when they’re done. In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been more than a little busy the last few months. If you haven't noticed, wake up already! I attended Power MorphiCon, FallCon, did a very complicated ending to an episode of Atop the Fourth Wall, released additional videos in October beyond my regular workload, did my regular workload, which consists of an episode of Atop the Fourth Wall every week despite conventions and other difficulties, one of those difficulties being moving into an apartment. In addition to that, people don’t seem to realize how much work actually goes into these videos. Here’s the process, I watch the entire series which, for those of you at home, is around 40 episodes at 20 minutes each. That’s roughly 13 hours straight, if I was watching them all in one day. Which I’m not. Oh, but it gets better. Because I also am writing up a synopsis of the important plot points of the season, as well as writing down character notes, themes, et cetera, et cetera. Which means I’m pausing the episodes so I can write. Once the season is completed, I have to finish my notes and analysis. And then, I watch the next season and repeat the process. Yes, I had to finish watching Ninja Storm before I recorded the Wild Force review. Why? So I don’t let my immediate feelings about it be the ones that I write. I give it time to settle and see how much of it is memorable. It helps the analysis and judgement of the series. And on top of all of that, I then have to record it and edit it all down to a few videos for your consumption. It'll be out when it's out.
There's a reason it won an Emmy
Yeah and its not the reason you think it is.
It won an emmy because the competition was daytime soaps and the specific emmy was stuntwork.
For me, its Scorpina
Anon, read the spoiler.
Yes. Otherwise known as a participation prize.
I liked Lost Galaxy
Yes, I'm retarded.
At least you can admit it.
Alright but why isn't it out yet then
peak suits
peak mechs
chill surfer vibe
still sticking to the saban ranger formula while trying something new
hot blue ranger
kino theme song
Ninja Storm is one of the best, after Wild Force and Dino Thunder.
Meh Rangers Mid Galaxy
Captian, it appears to be the remains of a space colony called "Terra Venture" and has been drifting through space for over 2000 years.
Fuck what I would give to see the movie with Jason, Zack and Trini in it. Saban just had to be a greedy little Jew.
We were ROBBED
Says random anon on a Mongolian underwater surfing messageboard meanwhile JGB has money, waifus and gets to have fun with what he likes to do.
Jason
Actual criminal + sells nazi merch
Never gonna happen, as kino as it would be
whataboutism
yes we were
Actual criminal + sells nazi merch
Context
Was it because of Saban? I dun remember was a kid at the time D:
Quite possibly the worst adaptation Saban has ever produced.
Even Glitter Force wasn't this bad.
For me it's the qt pink ranger with glasses
Skull still won in the end since he got himself a family and became a millionaire
Gets killed halfway through the show because the actress had to go through cancer treatment
Never liked nerdy chicks
Im'a say something strange.. My favorites were Scorpina, Divatox, Mushroomgal|Forgot name.. Tox.. And also Mira. Favorite side charecter I think goes to I wanna say the one with the blue dog? She was cute.
Rude
*is completely fucking useless in your path*
Should have been Goldar's wife like in the Japanese version
Weird looking Titanium Ranger
Did some shady tax shit
The Nazi stuff is more due to fucking retarded marketing of his dude-bro quote shirts. Basically it's a line of shirts with motivational quotes based on famous "warriors" which he mentioned could be terrible ones too, and named Hitler as one he could use quotes from because he had "some pretty good one-liners". Despite him saying Hitler was a demon before that and making it clear he wasn't endorsing Hitler, people ran with it to say he was making Nazi memorabilia. It's all very stupid and based on a gotcha, but the guy is clearly not used to public speaking or public relations.
Can you name a single formerly evil Ranger that didn’t immediately become a jobber once they turned good?
Umm....uhhhhhhh.........
Amazons or Kamen Rider Shin?
I like Lightspeed Rescue as much as the next guy but I died a little inside when I realized that horrible orchestral version of the main theme would be playing throughout the whole season.
I've seen Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed Rescue with Time Force and RPM up next, is there any point to watching any other seasons or is that as good as it gets?
Wild Force is kind of cool, maybe not great but I liked it. Dino Thunder is a mileage may vary situation. It's partly a MMPR nostalgia with Tommy returning, but it's not the crux of the show since he's gone for like half the show. SPD is similarly solid if repetitive. I'd consider watching those before RPM even though RPM is better, they represent the strongest post Time Force, pre-RPM stuff and basically the best of the Disney era(even though WF is sort of borderline). At least watch a few episodes to start and if you don't like them skip, but watch Forever Red from Wild Force for sure..
Samurai was decent but has that shadow above it's head D:
