Come cheer up, my /trek/ 'tis to glory we steer
Come cheer up, my /trek/ 'tis to glory we steer
I didn't get into star trek until I had an adderall prescription and binged DS9
how do you feel about rape gangs?
am I a member or
entry level associate. sometimes you gotta work both sides
Which era of Trek would you rather live in, and why?
2150s (Enterprise)
2260s (TOS)
2270s (TMP)
2280s-90s (TOS movies)
2360s (TNG)
2370s (DS9/VOY)
2293-2360s
TNG era for me
holodecks
carpeting
peak aesthetics
not at war with anyone
can go warp 9.975
Congratulations! By extraordinary circumstances you've time traveled to the 24th century and have been rescued by Starfleet. After a period of reacclimation you have become a citizen of the Federation and to help you on your way, recognizing your unique situation, the government has offered you one of the following
sizeable rural homestead on a planet of your choice
apartment in a major city on Earth with a holosuite
danube class runabout
tutelage and testing for enrollment in starfleet academy
civilian accommodations on an available galaxy-class starfleet vessel
an alternate request of your choice to be considered
How will you live from now on?
I feel like because of my DS9 binge I was able to have an easier time getting into the other series. The original series felt the most alien to me but that should be obvious why for any long term fans. It's very different in many ways. Enterprise was underrated, I disliked Voyager the most but that's cause I liked the least amount of characters there. I don't count nu-trek despite having seen the first season of Discovery.
Trickquestion
# not all gangs
a sizable rural homestead on bajor and endless sex with Kira
you know... back when I was in the academy we used to follow every toast with a song!
many such cases (i had a similar story)
Calm down Ben
You're gonna die anon
What a fucked up thing to say. You too babe.
Yikes. Sounds like the adderall already turned you gay. I will pray for you anon.
This is the last (you) get, by all means have the last word though you earned it ;)
Man Calif--I mean Bajor is so beautiful
Red alert!
Photon torpedoes ready, captain!
Stand down red alert... it's only a drill, Mr. Worf.
I. WANT. TO. BLOW. SOMETHING. UP!
Very progressive
Keep going
The entire saga is a Talosian illusion the ship never actually escaped from Talos IV
Is that the one where the god alien let his wife and planrt die? Lmao what a cuck
Wherever I go, I must also mind rape.
He's a Changeling! Get him!
That moment when you realize that NuTrek writers lurk Anon Babble
I'm surprise they even know about Ferengi. The only aliens NuTrek ever seems to acknowledge are the ones any casual could identify: Vulcans, Romulans, Klingons, etc.
I have ADHD but I managed to binge all of TNG and DS9 without it.
Started rewatching TNG last week, on S01E04/5 The Last Outpost now.
TNG era always seemed pretty comfy
you are dumb and you should feel dumb
you also smell bad and look silly
I hope this has not jeopardized our friendship
2150's Earth is calm and relativity isolated. You would also get to study with the Vulcans as they rediscover the original writings of Surak.
Just avoid Florida or anywhere the xindi attack and you are good to do.
I always assumed that first contact with the Vulcans would have had a more profound impact on humanity. I imagine many people would want to learn their language or study their major works but that is not really depicted in ENT.
2370s (DS9/VOY)
sizeable rural homestead on a planet of your choice
Post-Dominion War, somewhere relatively quiet like Bajor. Eventually I would bet all of my land on a hot streak at the dabo tables and lose it all.
Time to end the day with TMP and some wine and shrimp. Im guessing around the time of Spocks spacewalk it will be nitey nite.
how do modern prosthetics look so much worse than ones made of modeling clay from the 80's
Sure, you get raped in
TNG easy
2900s and join the time police
The early-mid 2300's because absolutely nothing happens
