Raised by Wolves

I'm still upset we'll never get a continuation of this. The show was bizarre as all fuck but I still liked it.

Still the best show of this decade

is it worth a watch? never seent it but knowing that it doesn't have a proper ending is making me reticent to invest any time

maybe the team behind common side effects and Scavengers Reign could finish it in an animated stylieee
have you got their e-mail address?

It fell off hard in the second series. Feels like they dug their own grave, honestly.

no it's fucking retarded, the acting is shit, the cgi is dodgy, there's like 3 autists on here that love it

thanks, will pass and just fap to ai renders of mother

It was a great show. But I worry that it was more concerned with setting up mysteries then it was actually having answers for those mysteries. Had it been continued, I think it may have just ended up being a more heady version of Lost.
I also think it really under explored the war.

I will never forgive them for killing off knight-mommy.

It's still worth it. Definitely will sting. The sheer uniqueness and themes was just simply too much for normies

It's more about the symbolism

I used to schizo-post in the generals and have studied Gnosticism (where that vast majority of the symbolism was sourced). I get the symbolism.
The problem was with the narrative elements that connected the symbolism together. That was giving my Lost vibes by the end of season 2.

The esoteric symbolism was the best. Like anon said see the second season was where everything happened, there was no assurance they would even explain the last scene. Had they been given the chance to explain it, it might sound retarded. The fact that they never got a chance to explain it and to the mystery. Still enjoyed this show more than others and loved the themes.

First season was interesting before it shit the bed.

looking back that whole series felt like a fever dream. its been long enough I prolly should re-watch it

great shows never last

Best show of the decade for sure. The only contender so far is Drops of God.

I thought the first season was great but the second season sucked

the part in ep 1 where the banshee lady is exploding the christians is freaky, she was really fucking OP

I think this was a reference to one of the saints right? who was crucified upside down. the whole series was a melange of scifi, religion, mythology. it was pretty cool. sad to see it end abruptly. i liked her odd body

It was certainly heading in that direction but it could've turned around. We'll never know unfortunately and the filming locations of Africa were so on point. It's shocking more sci fi don't use the locations they used
Rommulus and Remus
Praise Sol

i miss it

I'm still upset about Altered Carbon. And Dark Matter while we're on the subject.

God awful directionless crap

Altered Carbon

S1 was only okay.

Agreed, the only modern media property that I actually want to re-watch.

That's a little ridiculous. We had Dune, The Northman and Furiosa too.

Also Athena, Puss in Boots, The Killer, Land of Bad, The Gorge.

I just wanted an ending. So kino.

wow you have shit taste

no

Top 5 now

This is like the Firefly again. Cancelled kino

i watched the first episode after someone on here said it was amazing and, yeah, it's garbage

for me, it's vrille

Lost
Leftovers
From
Watchman
Felicity

I'm just thankful Firefly got a movie that definitively concluded the story and made shitty sequels impossible.

I really loved this show too. Sucked that it was canceled. Even though it was a little rough around the edges, it was doing the kind of stuff and taking the kind of bold non-corporate creative risks that this board idealizes.
There were so many directions you could go with a premise like that too. It's sort of like a Rimworld series even down to the weird pre-existing tech being archotech.

I hate this show and i'm glad they cancelled it

check Mrs Davis

Seems like you enjoyed it

beacon 23 was also good early but it's 2nd season fell apart. Nowhere deep like raised by wolves but was still decent sci-fi.

the show is a midwit filterer, stay the happy simpleton you are.

It
was
shit

The first season was satisfying imo. Explores all of its themes and ideas pretty well, even if it doesn't conclude them.
You could get by just watching the first season if you don't want the lack of a conclusion to sting so bad.
