It’s just you, your house is quiet, maybe you hear your dad snoring in the back because he fell asleep on the couch, while your bedroom walls reflect the light of the tv while you have aqua teen hunger force on, or maybe Mission Hill, or a late airing of anime like Inuyasha. It’s Friday night, you know damn well you’re going to sleep in till the afternoon, then go out and find some friends to play with. Life was good. But man, those late night chill sessions where it felt like you were the only person awake are some of the best memories man

I was born 1991 and saw this ad on TV when really small. actually caused me serious distress, every time i saw a "belly expanding" joke in a tums commercial or something, i was always terrified that they would explode at the end.
never saw someone blow up again and eventually assumed i dreamed the commercial. when this ad was posted and i saw it a year or so ago i was floored. it's exactly as i remembered it.
