They will not make Void/Sentry go bonkers and have a city destroying battle in the middle of New York for a Thunderbolts movie. Even then, the number of characters that can take him down in the MCU is very limited. Captain Bossbitch, Thor (we haven't seen him fight Sentry's powerset, however), Strange... That's it, I guess.

in the comic it's revealed that sentry was around at the start of marvel and was good friends with reed richards, but when he realized that he's also the void, sentry decides that the only way to permanently beat the void is to make everyone, including himself, forget that the sentry ever existed. years later, bob starts to remember and his powers return, and the rest of the world starts to notice that they've all been made to forget and ignore anything related to the sentry. they did a bit of meta marketing too, sentry was advertised as a forgotten stan lee character that jenkins had dug up from the marvel archives. the series ends with bob agreeing to being forgotten again, but hints that he hasn't completely forgotten

then bendis comes along and fucks everything up, makes bob a schizophrenic, the void the biblical angel of death and has sentry rip ares in half. he's currently "dead" and a black woman in a wheelchair has his powers

Almost all of those are retired, dead, or street level and/or hilariously ineffectual against genuine team level threats. Him, Pugh, and Wyatt. It's actually a pretty strong cast with a pretty good 'villain' if you can look past the attempt at selling it as MCU Suicide Squad. Bucky is nearly always goof, Yelena i've generally enjoyed every time I've seen her (she even made the totally ass Black Widow movie something I could watch), and Walker deserves some more screen time. And I'm genuinely a little hyped for Sentry entering the MCU as while he's nowhere near my favourite I did genuinely enjoy the comics that explored his fake friendships with the other Marvel heroes, it was something different. Honestly what bugs me most is Red Guardian. He was pretty amusing in other movies, but, it looks like they have really amped up his annoying comments and clowning to intolerable levels with Thunderbolts.

The issue is that nobody knows or really cares about most of those characters, and Zemo has never shown inclination to lead a team in the MCU, nor does the current MCU have the talent and time to develop them enough to do so. I can see why they used the characters they did, even if it is a little shitty to use the Thunderbolts name for them, when we know they are really going to be the Dark/Temporary Avengers until whatever the fuck happens to reset the timeline in Secret Wars.

Because as scary as the Void is, overall Sentry ('Bob') is actually a well-meaning but unwell dude who they flipflop on whether he is bi-polar or possessed (or both) hero. He's not really a villain. He has no long term plans of evil or anything like Doom will.

In the comics, yeah, and they had decades of small showings and appearances to build a fanbase. But for the MCU you would have to introduce them all as new, and either dedicate the entire movie to that, or have started back in Phase 2 or 3. You can't just drop the entire team in a new movie as new characters we've never met, with only Zemo as a returnee, and expect it not to bomb. Bucky and Yelena versus Superman lite is at least going to raise eyebrows.

Since this one was an exec screening, he's refrained from giving spoilers, but he did say Taskmaster is pivotal, Ghost gets a standout action scenes and there are some very emotional moments in the third act. Also, one post-credits scene.
