This movie was so depressing holy shit

You see fat people like that in Walmart all the time

is america really that bad these days? sheesh

She was so hot, goddamn

off-broadway

"modern audiences"

checks out

tagline: "It's Ma'am!"

Yeah business is business, if I was a delivery driver I wouldn't give a shit what my customer looks like as long as I get my money

What reason would she have for doing that

To help him reunite with his family? That's what happened. She was trying to help him and she did

I am guessing he died on the couch and didn't walk to her because he's way too fat for his legs to support him 100% while walking anyway. That part was like a dream in his head

The whole movie is supposed to be ambiguous in that way.

Is the Chinese character enabling Charlie because it allows her to possess him in a sense? Or is she just trying to make the best of a bad situation?

Charlie is either a really kind and optimistic soul who is struggling with loss, or he is idiotically optimistic in the face of irredeemable situations.

Thomas could be interpreted as lost and misguided, but with a strong desire to save others. Or could say Thomas is just a homophobe.

They you have the mom and daughter where the ambiguity is even more obvious.

grim

His daughter was a bitch but it was mostly his fault for abandoning her and his wife
