Why when something actually great comes out, it's rarely discussed here?

Probably because the core of the plot (a hippie looking dude messes around with a special mushroom), the character designs and the fact that it's an Adult Swim "adult" animated show made most people reject it at first glance purely by association to the rest of the disgusting, degenerate """adult""" animated shows of nowadays, particularly from that channel.
I too thought it was yet another DUDE WEED show until I gave it a try, now it's in my list of certified kino.

I love the 4th hour+ of shrooms. Often the first 2 or 3 hours suck, but after that difficult period it's like you accept the problems in your life and you move into a paradise for a few hours where everything makes perfect sense.
