In the long run AI will basically just be 3d modeling but faster. BUT the results could end up being a lot cooler than normal 3D modeling, the potential for texturing is more complex than ever.
Honestly though I make a lot of AI art and you have to inpaint it a lot to make it look good so it's not exactly instant, it does still take some work to maintain. And in my experience, text to video shit always takes multiple tries to get even barely passable. Using AI to make 3d model paths and then using AI to rotoscrope them is probably the realistic future of using AI in animation. That's still potentially massive and will revolutionize movies and video games though.
