Seasons Ranked

they bogged tony?

3 last

6 better than anything

lmao

2 > 3 > 4 > 1 > 5 > 6

3 has its highlights just like any other season, but it has the worst episode of the entire series and the weakest plot due to Livia's repentine death.

6a=2>6b>3>4>1>5
love the whole show but i can never see steve buscemi as tony b, i just see him as steve buscemi so it's my least favourite season cuz it breaks the immersion

but it has the worst episode of the entire series

That would be season 6 Episode 18

People unironically rate S6

It is boring as fuck

le evil sad Tony

Don't care. cringe as fuck season.

I understand, but honestly as a non-american I don't give a shit about the actor previous roles and find his performance to fit the rest of the cast.

No, it's Season 3 Episode 1, by a wide margin. Filler sitcom episode with that funny Paulie and Silvo scene.

Much better episode than Tony goes on vacation to Vegas and does fucking nothing for an entire episode.

Childhood is thinking The Sopranos is a masterpiece. Adults realise it's not that good no matter the season. Characters end up dying for no reason but to keep the audience engaged, like in the latter seasons of GoT, or all of The Walking Dead.
The funny bits of The Sopranos are the only good bits. Like the gay episode where you cut to a church statue that says 'Ecce homo'

4 is the best with the Tony and Ralphie conflict, s1 is clearly the weakest, show was still trying to find its groove.

not so much that it's just that he doesn't blend in at all, he feels like an actor who just wandered into set one day

Season 6 is so fucking boring

It’s kind of jarring how all of a sudden Tony had this close cousin that was like a blood brother to him. A mention in s4 about him would’ve gone a long way. Maybe if they dived more into their backstory I would’ve been more emotionally invested. Tony killing his cousin doesn’t really do anything for me

5>6B>2>1>3>4>6A

People rate 6B

It is just as shit as 6A but it has 1 good episode

I've been watching Season 1.

muh therapy

muh anxiety

muh horny or my therapist

Only interesting episode was the college one where he kills the rat.

Try again when you get in your 20s.

1,2,3,4,5,6

ignore the other anon, those first four eps are only good on a rewatch, the college ep was the first one that booked me and it just gets better and better after s1

I second this but with the first 2 eps, not 4.

I'm a 35 year old boomer.

Some people mature later.

3 > 6 > 5 > 2 > 4 >>>>>>>>>>> 1
1 sucks major ass. College is so shit. I hate that people pretend it's revolutionary because the network didn't want Tony to kill or whatever. Fuck off.
3 is the best and most iconic: CGI Livia, Melfi Rape, Bobby's Dad (the fuckin' Terminator), Jackie Jr and Meadow, Gloria, Tracee, Jigsaw, Noah, Dr. Kennedy, PINE BARRENS! I could go on (Jan's Narcoleptic bf) but fuck you all

6b>5>3>2>1>4>6a

Melfi Rape and Gloria

Valid.

CGI Livia, Jackie Jr and Meadow

What? No.

CGI Livia was a joke but I really love the Jackie Jr. & Meadow stuff. Jackie in general is fun. Him being a little weasel, selling E, up in the strip club, robbing the card game, with Matoosh, step-daddy Ralphie’s moments of wisdom, getting popped etc.

Jackie was fun for his interactions with Ralph, Tony and Chris, not with Meadow or by its own tho.

Who the fuck things s5 is any good? That's by far the worst season. Blundetto ruins the whole season

How wrong can you be? Rugio's Neighborhood is one of THE BEST episodes of the show. Christ. You are really just some mobslop muh gunz and shiet retard aren't you?

Bobby's dad is S2. He borrows money from Richie for the poker game, then tony, causing tony and richie to butt heads

Whenever I rewatch an episode, I rarely ever do Season 1. It's usually from Season 3 or later

It's basically filler except for how the FBI put a wire into Tony's basement. All of the side plot lines seem to be from a typical family sitcom (AJ smoking, Meadow in uni, Carm taking tenis lessons...). The only good scene in the entire thing is the one with Paulie and Silvo speaking about pee while eating, I think I also laughed once during the housekeeper's side plot. Also the whole episode had these awful direction choices like cutting to black every damn transition and playing TWICE that cringey mashup with a Police song.

The balls on this guy

I don’t know what you’re talking about. The Robert Patrick character? I’m talking Baccala’s Dad in the episode “Another Toothpick”

But for it's time...

Seriously though, as proto prestige television it stands out at times with beyond surface level examination of its themes but because of when it was made it couldn't have fallen into becoming too self indulgent. But all that kind of stands aside to its amazing characters and portrayals so I don't mind either way.

Oh I thought you meant terminator like the movie

2, 1, 6B, 5, 3, 6A, 4

Worst episode is In Camelot.
