By episode 2 you can tell what they are doing with the character. I don't need to watch more. They went out of the way to show him saving the bug from the shower. I've seen all the "prestige" dramas like The Sopranos and Deadwood. But Mr. In-between is the only shows I always have a desire to rewatch. I'm not sure why. I guess it's just very, very comfy.
