Kill yourself

I don't understand why they're praised either. They're a production company, they don't actually make the movies. It's like praising/hating Lionsgate movies.

cause theyre gay

I like em just fine pal

Not a big fan of the french, I take it?

he doesn't have a favorite production company

I don't. They made and released some of the greatest movies of this century. But they also did the same for some of the worst trash I've ever seen so i think it evens out

mcdonalds arthouse

based OrionBros

the brand means nothing now

now

Never did.
They were also reddit-tier pretentious & distributed indie films that made casual viewers pretend as though they were """smart""" for thinking they were anything more than bog standard goyslop.

They became popular so now you have to hate them. It’s the rule. You aren’t allowed to like things that other people like. You have to be a contrarian NPC.

McDonald's Arthouse

Cucc propoganda

For me it's Icon, they always have interesting stuff
Touchstone is also good for when you want something good but don't know what

I can still hear the sound

it's all try hard shit for midwits.

Came here to say this. When people on here talk about movies “made by A24” it just makes it all too clear how absolutely staggeringly retarded so many anons here are because they actually think that’s how it works

A24 makes movies THOUGH

this was true from inception to about early 2020. since then they both produce and distribute the vast majority of their movies which is probably why they're more popular now and therefore more hated.

every film's message is

white people... le bad!

That's a stupid thing to say. A24 and Lionsgate films have their own distinctive vibes even if they weren't personally involved in the films they acquire. It's basic curation.

The Witch would be a rare exception, but that is certainly their theme and is why I hate them.

Kill yourselves, culture war faggots.

They're a production company, they don't actually make the movies

Production is making, retard

Feels like somewhere along the way the genuinely mistook tranny slop for highly kino auteur films and they just went with it.

No, I think you understand very well. A24 produces a very specific type of movies that is instantly recognizable whether you love or hate them.

No one is stopping them from picking the right project / pushing certain filmmakers / influence the production.
It wasn't the model for old giants but it is for A24, Blumhouse and a few more I think.

It's like praising/hating Lionsgate movies.

You'd have to be a brainlet not to notice a distinct A24 style.

Mine is Miramax

They went to shit around 2018, and that's roughly the same time people started using the term "A24 movies".

shalom

They're a production company, they don't actually make the movies.

They have very specific rules for their movies. They don't let their directors do whatever the fuck they want, retard.

Their movies are all terribly produced, low budget, lazy looking garbage

Instead of that I stopped watching their films.

I watched Civil War and it was just a string of cheap war movie cliches. As if they just wanted social media worthy snippets, but didn't care about the movie as a whole.
