Synth filters + AI upscaling but being a pretty OCD with it so i only use conservative models. I don´t like those "remasters" that made shit up and it looks awful, so mostly use models that use what is already on the source, don´t invent it up. Also, using grain. I remember those shitty AI remasters from Cameron on Avatar´s bluray.

What makes a good excellent AI upscaling is the source material desu, and not upscaling it to 4x 4K 60 fps, it will suck, just doing a pixel accurate upscale, x2, or if it´s already 720p and it has a lot of artifacts, just downscale it and upscale it again, had a great result doing that with shitty 720p upscales of dvdrips.

Worst film seen at Cannes by far. It's truly this year's Megalopolis. Acted and directed like a TV movie, it feels like a long episode of Empire. There's constant Hollywood-style music behind it, like it's a Marvel movie, and it takes the guy twenty minutes to realize that a human life is worth more than money..... They want to make it seem like there's a psychological complexity to the choice between money and life, but it's not at all, lol. Plus, it's filmed to the soft music of a blockbuster or an unbearable Netflix series. In short, it's GOOD that they didn't do the trick of putting it in competition like they did with Megalopolis; I would have lost my cool.

I buy HDDs/SSDs whenever I see a good deal or there's some internet sale going on. I've something around 4/5tbs of films stored since 2021. It's something I recommend doing especially for lesser known films which will probably disappear from torrents and online archives over the next decade. My hot take is that some day sooo much shit will get wiped out that it's going to be almost impossible to download kinos as easy as it is today.
Plus, you'll never know if your half-black wife's son will be a movie buff and enjoy the French New Wave kinos you stored for the little rascal, so it might come in handy.
