Revan was 4000 years before Bane. There are multiple Sith Empires between them, the last one being the one Bane wiped out to institute the Rule of Two, which is only 1000 years before the rise of Palpatine. Revan's Sith Empire didn't outlive Malak.

Andor if anything referenced a lot of the EU like KOTOR, or Tarkin landing on a bunch of protesters with a starship it's other Disney shows that directly contradict those works for their own much weaker story
