"Sex scenes" are a funny thing. In every country except the US (I don't count Muslim ones) sex is sex, nudity is nudity, sexual interest is sexual interest. In the US nudity = sex, and sex is bad and therefore desirable, hence the middle ground, where "sex scenes" are not sex scenes, but some form of indirection, usually obscured before the real action.
