I think I'd like to see an Andor style two season show about Imperial politics that continues from the Battle of Yavin. First season would be about the Empire vs. Rebels and ends with the Battle of Endor. And season 2 would be about the fallout from the death of the Emperor and everyone scrambling for power and/or looking for a lifeline out of the crumbling Empire.

Because it's not the setting that made Andor good, it's the writing and direction that make it stand out. It barely feels like a Star Wars show at times. Disney won't learn any lessons from this, they'll just do as you said and try to copy the setting and basic plot of Andor without looking at the details, and when it bombs they'll throw up their hands and claim the audience is unpleasable.

If they're lucky they might accidentally greenlight another successful show with a different Star Wars setting and then focus on that instead.
