That's an overarching problem with any audience in general. People who like things don't write reviews are complain or make lists of what they'd like to see change. They're too busy enjoying the product and going with the status quo. So the people who create the thing go out and look for feedback and all they see is the one person out of a thousand who didn't even like it, going "This show sucks and here's what needs to change to conform to my tiny minority sensibilities!" and the creators figure, oh I guess we could try some changes if our fans want it, and they end up ruining it for everyone else. And this is before even accounting for the ever-present danger of jews controlling or infiltrating the reviewers and the project or the network itself and subverting it on purpose.
