The Matrix Trilogy is pretty good as a whole

BrBa S5 is dogshit. It’s not even just overrated, it’s legitimately bad television

The original lord of the Rings is a candidate for the worse trilogy ever. It's down there with the original I Know What You Did Last Summer trilogy

I liked Alien Romulus

ya'll

Faggot

Heat doesnt look like an interesting movie

The whole show is massively overrated

Terminator 1 >>>>>> Terminator 2

Only redditors disagree (which this place is full of)

The Office is dreadfully unfunny in both editions
South Park is 45% unwatchable, 45% mediocre, 10% decent.
Whiplash 2014 is melodramatic bullshit as is Birdman
First Jurassic Park is okay and everything else is garbage

T1 is better than T2, which was just a cash grab.
Last Action Hero is one of the best "meta" movies ever made, and was overhated.
Weinstein did nothing wrong.

I wanna have sex with Hunter Schafer. Even kiss her on the mouth.

hunter eyes.jpg - 1440x1800, 1.24M

Warhammer is gay and Event Horizon sucks

sorry but retarded contrarianism isn't controversial on Anon Babble.

Ready Player One is pure art and the book is dogshit.

james cameron is a hack and all of his movies are slop

Andor is the worst Star Wars. Even worse than the sequels and the worst of the EU. Andor fundamentally does not understand what Star Wars is.

Slopranos opinion

Whitecaps is one of the worst episodes and Edie Falco’s overacting is cringe

I refuse to watch R rated movies that don’t have female nudity

The 90s were a terrible time for movies, only nostalgiafags with no taste talk about how good the 90s were

The Shape of Water (2017) was good and the romance between the woman and the fishman was cute

Yea after Gus died I felt like I was forcing myself to keep watching just because I was so emotionally invested in it

Snyders Superman/DC trilogy is the best superhero movies of all time and actually transcend the genre.

Santa Claus 1985 starring Dudbley Moore is an underrated Christmas film. Prancer too.

Evangelion and the Star Wars prequels suck.

boondock saints 2 is a good movie and better than the first
good morning saar

Chicken Jockey is going to ruin kids films and some bad adult comedies for the next 5 years because every film studio is going to try and artificially recreate a retarded tiktok trend.

The Minecraft movie will kill cinemas more than streaming did.

that was an issue before chicken jockey though
"i am iron man" was the same just more serious in tone

Futurama is straight up not good. It's a shitty show

The Cat in the Hat (2003) was kino.

Warhammer(40k mostly, though WHFB to a certain extent too) isn't really cohesive enough for me to dislike it or like it as a whole. It's old as shit and spans decades of stuff with wildly different tones and quality, quite literally because it's made to sell different flavors of toy soldiers to different tastes. I can't even keep up with what I do and don't like about it anymore, they release new models and new inconsequential tidbits of lore whilst mostly keeping things stagnant to give the illusion nothing's changing but also slowly, slowly changing it by omission. It's kind of like hating Star Wars or Star Trek. I'd be able to say I don't like most of the "main" entries of either, but there's so much shit to it that I can't say I absolutrly hate something when I've got parts of it I like, even if that's decades old.

i just want psychological slow burner horror with Conrad Kurze as main character

prestige television as a whole isn't that great. The greatest tv show is on par with base levels of cinema

its not, the only good parts about the movie is the shooting scene and Al Pacino on coke

Agreed.
TV peaked with The Twilight Zone. Twin Peaks flirted with it at its highs, but suffered some truly mournful lows.

Joss did nothing wrong

jl.jpg - 779x1200, 270.14K

arnold should have died to predator in predator

Little Miss Sunshine is perfect cinema and I'm tired of people calling me gay for it

lms.jpg - 571x531, 38.14K

Die Hard 4 is better than 2 and 3

Season 2 is the only good True Detective

the acolyte was good

Lion King is a horrible cartoon and The Jungle Book is 1000x better

I will say I actually liked the alternate ending to Diehard 3 more than what we got.

Apparently they cut it because "It made John look like a psychopath." Yes because any normal human being would write words in blood on a corpse's body to warn the bad guys he's got a weapon.

Die Hard 3 would be my favourite if not for that ending. They should have gone for the alternate

My main problem with S2 is that it lacks the atmosphere of S1. California is just never going to be as interesting as the southern gothic aesthetic of S1.

The Watchman HBO series wasn't that bad, but a bit pretentious. The chuds in the show were only a subplot as a means to an end for Jeremy Irons/Ozymandias, and there wasn't any forced woke messaging like Anon Babble said there was.

this

I wouldn't go so far as to call s5 bad but if is definitely way more pedestrian and uninteresting than l the other seasons, but Ozymamdius still managed to be kino
They really should have waited to kill gus though

Terminator is a legitimate art film
T2 is passable entertainment with amazing special affects

It's only terrible relatve to the 70s and the mid 20s, 30s and 40s
It looks great compared to the 2000s and 80s

Ironan 2008 is a legitimatly great movie that the world would have been better off without

Great mouse detective mogs both
Sword in the stone mogs all three

Repo man is still the best movie ever made

Still less gay than rockey horror picture show… actually, no. Wait. Chicken jockey is gayer than gay men in drag. Scratch that

IMG_6880.jpg - 500x703, 69.08K

Louisiana is legitimatly horrifing place to live
Unsolved homicides are just routine there; their CID guy legit just get to write everything off it's so bad

exactly adapting source books would make terrible movies

Something tells me when you say "original" what you meant to say is just the Jackson trilogy, correct?

The jews run all media and Hitler was right.

I liked Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 better than the original because it was an actual movie with sets and actors and cameras and a script, instead of just being three retards wandering around in the dark while occasionally yelling "Fuck!" or "Josh?!" for 90 minutes

Most of the 'art house ' canon isn't worthy, and most film criticism is functionally illiterate. Theater outside of Broadway at least has some standards. Actors don't have to memorize anything worth a damn these days.

Not sure that’s a controversial opinion, anon…

Rob Zombie's Halloween is better than John Carpenter's Halloween

Aliens is a shitty movie

The 70s were a pretty bad decade for a American cinema. A good portion of its reputation seems to have to do with Scorsese being seen as a "70s director" but almost all of his greatest work was done in the 80s and 90s. DePalma and Lynch also came into their own in the 80s.
Coppola, Kubrick, Lumet, sure, but the 80s was the far superior decade for film overall.

Nearly every movie that is widely considered in official "top ten best movies of all time" are garbage. Citizen Kane is not a great movie, the Godfather is alright but not great let alone one of the greatest of all time, there is always a holohoax film listed as one of the greatest of all time and that's hilarious.

nobody is that controversial

I like Luke’s “standoff” against Kylo and the first order on the notHoth planet in TLJ. The rest of the movie is beyond terrible, but that part is kino.

well they are according to the people who voted for them

gay

Citizen Kane gets graded on a curve because it essentially invented the concept of movies as we know it, it's like saying the Model T is a dogshit car

Having seen the Snyder cut, I agree. The bad parts of this movie aren’t Joss’ fault and the movie would’ve been bad even if Snyder had stayed.

Suckerpunch is more philosophically satisfying than The Matrix.

liar

Star Wars is a duller movie franchise than Harry Potter

People who shit on citizen Kane are braindead

IMG_1451.jpg - 750x675, 401.37K

I can't argue with those digits.

i wish somebody made citizen bane

It's just not a good movie. Who cares about the techniques? Are we watching movies or tech demos? CGI trash put out today that is forgotten in 2 months are tech demos, Citizen Kane is arguably the first.

Pure *slop*

Ftfy

My version of this opinion is that Vince Gilligans stuff is so perfect that it makes it hard to talk about. Its like you don't really on a even yearly basis talk about Catcher In The Rye but understand its a masterpiece.

Its really boring until it isn't its like if sex felt like nothing at all until you orgasm then your brain almost explodes out of nowhere.

I think liberal millennial writers are right to a point that some of the rougher edges need to get filed down. Not every conflict can have one billion dead or every retarded autistic aspect of humanity needs to be blown up to 11 and make an entire civilization out of it. What is bad is making it so bland that it becomes charmless and loses all the wackiness that makes WH40 awesome.
