What I didn't get it why not bring back Jonas for the last few seasons? Make Carter the leader of SG-1 and have Jonas complete the pack. I grew to like Mitchell but Jonas was already right there.

Plus the SGC learned how to counter Priors way too quickly. At least a few episodes showing multiple SG teams trying to surround and hit a Prior from multiple angles and taking serious casualties in the process would've been interesting.
Priors using their powers while spouting lines from the Book of Origin was cool.
