all he wanted to do was to take a murderer to justice

Just realized where I know him from

Blandor is utterly soulless dogshit. It appeals only to teenage midwits from letterboxd and twitter film crowd, who think Nolan, Villeneuve and Eggers are the hottest shit ever, but something actually complex and designed to be thought provoking and requiring effort, like Tarkovsky, Bergman, Godard, Eisenstein and other actual filmmakers are "boring". So they settle for that kind of "serious" and "adult" capeshit — it's still capeshit, but, you see, it's kinda "serious", "dark" and "adult", even though it is fundamentally set in the universe of silly super people wearing spandex suits and capes, based on the literal children's media. The perversion and subversion of said children's media seems "smart" to them. But in reality, it is inferior to both. It is nothing but joyless, pretentious, ugly drivel that adds absolutely nothing in terms of narrative or themes, and only exploits the name of the IP in order to promote the author's unnecessary, obnoxious "take" on what he considers fundamentally below them. Utterly irrelevant, pointless, needless story, without a single creative bone in its body. It's revolting. All you need is characters talking constantly without actually saying anything, and a bunch of forced, cringe, emmy bait monologues to make midwits lose their shit. Embarrassing.

Actual Star Wars has infinitely more substance and depth than any culturally irrelevant thing Disney and/or (heh) Tony Gilroy have come up with in their careers.

Ep 8

Poor Cereal.
Like a dog chasing something, and when finally he catches it, he doesn't know what to do anymore.
Seeing him lower the weapon, standing up to Dedra.
The Empire wasn't what he thought it was and learned it too late.
The world was too complicated for him, sad but good end for his character.

Ep 9

My fav episode this season.
I love the senate and seeing Mon Mothma do her best to maneuver it.
Bail actor does a good job, it's always sad to see actors change, but he's carrying the role with such dignity.
I hope Perrin is okay.
idk about Bix this arc, need to take care of her some way, I guess this works to motivate Andor.

I probably don't need to spoiler, but in case one of you fools come in here without watching the new episodes.

Force Healer / Faith Healer thing was neat.

common rhydohead w

You're not going to fucking believe this but the ghost of an ancient Sith obscures its presence to the force sensitive and it is otherwise way the hell out of normal space traffic

*SNAP*

yeah it was good to see force is still around this world there in some way

What directing choice is this look meant to covey to the young force wielding rebellion girls watching at home?

Characters don't get any fancy deaths with a sendoff in this show, it's always just *PEW dead*. It's kind of brutal

Based dykekiller appreciator

already seeing people take Syril as like a warning to all the fascist incels out there instead of a genuine exploration of how even normal people wanting justice and order can be used as cogs in the authoritarian machine

there really is no point in making anything meaningful in 2025

It's very realistic

and that's a good thing

aye love me some daala, so did pelleon for that matter

*yeets a short distance*

liberals are incapable of seeing themselves in a mirror

Apparently the Ghormans know about the Les Miserables soundtrack but don't know how that revolution went

standard problem with trying to write morally ambiguous drama for mainstream audiences. Marvel films were super popular for a reason.

So how many people would have survived Ghorman and did anyone manage to bring any spiders with them?

WHAT KIND OF BEING ARE YOU?

uh yeah. it's just liberals. conservatives are all about non-binary morality and stuff. mmm.

are you going to post this in every thread?

Would Ghormans post on Anon Babble about the massacre?

Even though she was a nasty hag I felt sad when she realized her son was dead probably because of her

so he was part of this?

They don't fail to appreciate morality plays. Hell, they're usually the main customer for them, aren't they? Do you believe yourself clever?

Instantly recognized his voice, nice to see he's still in stuff. Hopefully he appears more in the last 3 episodes.

Aldhelm.png - 2548x1426, 1.38M

I hope he does

they would all be pro-Empire until someone they knew personally was affected

I could've sworn those spiders would get a chance to kill someone Starship Troopers style

Dedra is going to see to it she dies a most horrifying death. It will be her tribute to Cyril

"what have you sacrificed?"

".....Calm. Kindness. Kinship. Love. I've given up all chance at inner peace. I've made my mind a sunless space. I share my dreams with ghosts. I wake up every day to an equation I wrote 15 years ago from which there's only one conclusion, I'm damned for what I do. My anger, my ego, my unwillingness to yield, my eagerness to fight, they've set me on a path from which there is no escape. I yearned to be a savior against injustice without contemplating the cost and by the time I looked down there was no longer any ground beneath my feet. What is my sacrifice? I'm condemned to use the tools of my enemy to defeat them. I burn my decency for someone else's future. I burn my life to make a sunrise that I know I'll never see. And the ego that started this fight will never have a mirror or an audience or the light of gratitude. So what do I sacrifice? Everything! You'll stay with me, Lonni. I need all the heroes I can get."

Luthen is a Jedi Master

It was a great character arc but I do wish he survived so he'd have to actually process all the fucked up shit and what he was involved in and see what he'd do from there, like was there any chance he'd help the rebels if he didn't run into Cassian etc.

Uncle Harlo and Eedy will become the faces of the imperial families who lost loved ones in that horrible Ghorman attack.

He’ll ask the questions here

Thank God there are no Inquisitors in this show. It feels like it should with everybody forgetting about the Jedi and force shit during this period

why its stupid especially since you see the actual infrastructure they are building up on yavin, thats the temporary living quarters, we literally see the temple being done up with heavy blast doors and proper facilities. You...you aren't some faggy filoni fag a-are you anon?

What kind of being are you?

morality plays

I'm not sure if you know what that genre is, its usually not very ambiguous about *who* the good guys are or whether the bad guys are bad. they're generally a debate about what the morally correct decision is. think star trek or 50s westerns or 12 angry men.

There weren’t this many of them before the Empire

hey look I'm just a Anon Babble tourist, I was just going to TLOU thread

No, I don’t care about Filoni. I just think it’s funny

I don't think he's Jedi but he was probably besties with Plo Koon or something

He saves Andor at the end of where the film Rogue One ends just in time and trains his as his apprentice for the new upcoming Andor Jedi show the mouse is gambling heavily on realistic Jedi show with backstory

its usually not very ambiguous about *who* the good guys are or whether the bad guys are bad

Is this show?

god I'll miss her hair

I support the Ghorman tariffs.
#I voted for this

What is the emperor doing in this situation? Does he care about the speech?

Syril is a peak example of how modern audiences are completely incapable of seeing things through the pov of the world itself. Syril is obviously not a bad guy in any capacity. He wants to take a murderer to justice, he's highly offended by a cop just glossing over the deaths of two of their own, he hates being part of a family that relies on a criminal, and even at the end we see that the motivation for his two-timing of the rebel organization was just to oust the more dangerous Axis forces. As soon as he notices something that disrupts the natural peace and order of the planet, he becomes doubtful.

But to the audience, he's the bad guy. He's working with the bad guys and he does bad things. Therefore he's an evil person incapable of having done anything good ever. He's not just doing bad things, he was a bad man.

toxic.png - 592x590, 247.54K

They mentioned the Emperor plenty of times Ghorman seems to be his main focus right now

he's probably lurching over a cauldron in the imperial palace(old jedi temple) doing evil wizard stuff

he'll be mad when he hears about it

to el mandalore

Force Healer / Faith Healer thing was neat.

i also thought this was kino

The audience being a literally who on Twitter?

yeah I thought you were saying that Cyril might not be thought of as a bad guy and I personally agree with that take, as in I thought were were both saying that seeing him as a "warning to fascist incels" is the wrong take.

the disagreement is that you seem to think conservativism is less binary than liberalism or something. but most conservatives are normal people and normal people are pretty tribal, they just disagree on who the bad tribes are. anyway I wasn't attacking you.

Camping on Yavin 4 near the base looked comfy

Bail basically let Mon have the stage to rebel, explain to me how and why did the imps let him leave the senate at all?

important tax policy stuff. can't be too obviously evil until the Death Star is finished.

Can someone spoil the latest 3 episodes for me?

most chuds would actually keep simping to imperial mommy and enjoy people being genocided tho

I don't think they have enough dirt on him yet but they definitely don't like him

I find it easier talking about differing viewpoints around conservatives than leftists

no

French revolution in space gone wrong

Andor is really sad

K2 has been captured and reprogrammed to work for the Rebels

What WAS his tax policy? What tariffs did he have in place?

well basically some kino happens then next some fucking KINO happens, then in the end its very sad and its fucking KINO. Can't wait for next week.

It is, they are.

Because Kathy Lucasfilm is such a shit show Tony Gilroy basically has a blank check to do whatever he wants

every relevant French resistance character kill

half of them died off screen? because i'm sure like half of them survived and not died on screen

I’m not sure if the last 3 episodes redeemed the season for me but it’s definitely an improvement. Just wish it could’ve been like this for the first 6.

Syril is a good guy and always was, but he wasn't able to see himself outside of his imperial programming that he was raised with, until it was too late.

by literally saying fuck you disney I'm going to take the og trilogy and then make my own star wars with blackjack and hookers, actually nvm the blackjack.

Just all the old fuckers lived.

That guy is an underage nigger and thinks bad batch is good, btw.

Kek. I wonder if the Jedi would have their own chan or board and discretely post their after Order 66

yeah something like that would happen agree

gets tossed 10 feet

dies

WTF?

no anon I'm so sorry but they dead they are all dead, except for blonde radio girl shes ok

maybe they're more inclined to be relaxed and generous-spirited rn cause Trump is getting to do his thing. but it might vary depending on your social circle.

old fuckers were the most relevant tho only relevant one who died was that bitch showing her red ass on insta or something and her boyfriend or something

Dreena and whatshisname the guy who fucked up the last time survived

Do I need to watch Fagloni shit before getting into Andor?

Woman

OP of the andor threads work for Luthen

inb4 diego luna becomes the next pedro pascal
he's white enough imo

none at all based gilroy not even made any real shitty connection to rebels episode set in exact same moment with mon mothma

are you stupid? yes if you are violently tossed 10 ft you are dead, not even onto concrete, which she was, if you are picked up by your spine and then tossed you are dead, you ain't gimli m8.

Nope.

Are you a part of baking it?

Naeh.
Original trilogy and you're good.
Ideally Prequel trilogy as well.

still blame Mon Mothma for the lava

no not at all, you don't have to watch anything actually, but having at least watched the og trilogy wouldn't hurt, but even that isn't necessary.

Yes, muttmericans (women especially) are very Manichean in their thinking. Everything is immediately good or bad at an extremely superficial level, and if the character is on team bad, they must be bad themselves.

would've been okay if Moron Mothma didn't yap about rim worlders all the fucking time

the dude from twitter ain't wrong

I still think she was molesting younglings in the basement of the Mos Eisley Cantina.

He wasn't the product of "imperial programming" Order 66 would have happened when he was 21 years old, he was just a cop who thought order, justice, and obeying authority was the only way to live under any circumstance.

also looks like a pedo judging by omeeeguuuh pfp
also even captcha agreed xD

captcha.png - 383x237, 64.71K

he empathizes with syril

I loved that even the mystical experience felt realistic. Such a small thing, but strange enough to make the characters say “did that really just happen? wtf was that?” and be left wondering.

you don't understand what programming means, that anon wasn't talking about a trigger switch, just the basic humdrum every day conditioning of being a citizen of the empire.

get OUT

Who is that?

I for one support Total Ghorman Death

I bet Palpatine liquidated them sometime before 0BBY. Bunch of goofy fucks.

I can’t decide whether Syril living or dying would be more kino. On the one hand his death feels fitting, on the other hand I want to see him do something different with his life

And I'm telling you that's fucking stupid, he would have been the same fucking guy in the Republic

Will we see the emperor punish Daedra? This was all her plan after all.

as i hate them it would make zero sense to put them even in filoni slop when there's no any jedi around

The Senate escape episode was PEAK television. Inject that shit straight into my veins.

Reviews said there is no Tarkin/Vader/Palpatine appearances but it will be pretty weird to not see Palpatine at all.

Punished for what? The operation was a complete success. She's not responsible for Mothma escaping. She'll be promoted to security on the Death Star.

her plan went great. the bald imperial guy who couldn't shut down the broadcast is 100% getting force choked though.

I honestly think Disney should keep going this route, hiring directors/writers who hate SW to make non-jedi shows/movies, and leave the jedi/cool lightsaber fighting to people that made the better marvel movies/deadpool/xmen/etc.

because i know many people still want to see all the cool jedi stuff, but someone like JJ Abram’s was not it.

mfw Yularen is calling

JUST.jpg - 1920x1080, 362.45K

It's not going to happen unless MCU is completely dead.

It's a grey area. Lots of the games, the shows and the EU assumed Vader would do his utmost to operate separately from the Emperor by recruiting his own Inquisitors

what we really need is the andor realism and kino writing in a jedi show

They should first declare the ST non canon. Only reason I was even willing to watch Andor is it had nothing to do with it. Just keep it PT + OT timeline and we're good.

Bix is a junkie whore and her poorly written departure signals a turn for the worse the same way Howard Hammlin getting shot signalled the shitshow of the last episodes of better call saul. Oh btw i got a droid for no reason because its in the movie.

nope you ignore the entire series have you even watched it? I feel like i'm talking to someone who watched a yt vid about it and then felt like they i.e (you) could talk about it, no everything about cyrils life has been dedicated to order and control he bought into the rhetoric hook line and sinker, and he kept his eye on the ball which was the order and justice of the empire. Something that of course turned out to be a lie. Its why Dedra who is so so much more brainwashed being a child brought up in an imperial center is also shook by what happened. Cyril is indoctrinated, and heres a funny thing for you both Luthen and Saw in their own ways do the same indoctrination into a cause. Our Protag Andor holds onto his free will more or less sometimes less. So here we are thats what happens irl and that is what gilroy is doing and it is short circuiting stupid simple brains, their is very very bad i.e (the empire) their is decent i.e (the free people) but that second thing isn't a reality not yet, and if not given the right circumstance it never will be. Only rebels and authority, tyrants and anarchists. Consider this, on the tree of woe.

directors/writers who hate SW

I dont think Gilroy *hates* it he just said he wasn't particularly a fan of it all.

They should first declare the ST non canon.

Honestly

Orders, please.

0101.png - 845x699, 617.4K

The way he got k2 did feel very forced

eh, its not like they have enough episodes left to really fuck everything up.
it's only interesting because of open questions about what the original 5 season outline was.

I think they will move on way way into the future, so any ST consequences don't matter anymore, moving forward

kinda surprised he obeyed the chain of command

it was quick but not forced, we will probably see more of him next arc

They should first declare the ST non canon.

Yes. Call it a “passion project” if they need to

How Yavin "suddenly" exist? We had one year timeskip between each 3 episodes, 2 year total. In the beginning of the season the Rebel resistance is just Luthen's secret operator, Saw's druggies, and bunch of disorganized goofs. Then in 2 years they assembled an actual fleet with military ranks. Who's the commander in chief in charge of Yavin? Mon? Bail? Luthen? Ackbar? We are 2 years away from Luke blowing up the Death Star, seems like the organized Rebellion came to be really quickly offscreen.

no everything about cyrils life has been dedicated to order and control

BECAUSE HE WANTED TO BE A COP YOU STUPID FAG

that would require committing to actual worldbuilding which Disney appear to be fully allergic to doing.

hate SW

No maybe hate the direction its gone in i.e total trash, by all means hire directors who want to make SW stories and hate the trash disney has put out. The basic interview process should be bring in new director invite him to punch filoni in the face, then invite him to slap kennedy hard really really fucking hard. Once thats accomplished please continue with your idea.

It wasn't great.
I think maybe it would've been better if it got stuck on the vehicle, so he'd have it anyway once he got to the ship.
Instead of requesting during an escape that he wants that droid for some reason.

because he was drawn to the idea of order and control, yes I covered that dum dum

btfo that zesty ISB guy by setting him up as the fall guy for Ghorst dying

btfo the bald ISB guy by sending a false flag agent to make the ISB think he tried to arrest Mon but the rebels got his agent killed while bald ISB guy failed to stop Mon's speech

If the ST happened in a show's backstory I don't want anything to do with it, simple as. I don't want to watch something and then have some disgusting "nostalgia bait" of Reylo or First Order shit.

her costume hid it well but you could kind of tell she had a heckin caboose back there awoooga

To fuck it of course

We're just not following every part of the rebellion.

the commander in chief in charge of Yavin? Mon? Bail? Luthen? Ackbar?

Dodona.
Ackbar joins in the next timeskip with the rest of his fishpeople.

seems like the organized Rebellion came to be really quickly offscreen.

Plenty of shit happenned offscreen because each 3 episodes arc was originally supposed to be a season

aluminium tubes, anon

fuck, forget about your french girl, we need to leave NOW!

oh wait... cool robot, help me load it in

They're skipping stuff to fit the time they have. Andor delivered the stolen TIE to Yavin and ran into the Rebels stationed there
The audience is expected to know the rebels converge on Yavin because no one talks about establishing a base there (I'll have to go watch Rebels to find out, and I really don't want to)

he's a married man with a wife and children who he loves and wants to protect

zesty

what the fuck is wrong with you faggots?

it seemed logical to try and reverse engineer or reprogram one of those things

"nostalgia bait" of Reylo or First Order

I wonder if gen alpha's will remember the ST fondly in 10 years from now, like zillenials do with the prequels nowdays

THE REBELS KNOW

You ever hear of Max from Tasting History and how people say he’s a fag married to a spic? Straight married dudes always get called gay here

fondor hasn't done shit this season

Ackbar joins in the next timeskip with the rest of his fishpeople.

That would be the most fanservice thing they could do that appeals to me personally, I love mon calamari

what about Andors escape with the TIE and the escape from Aldhani last season

he either dies or retires in the next 3 episodes
RIP for a REAL ONE

I don't think so, merch was lying there unbought and almost no one seems to care about the characters other than Reylo shippers. The whole thing with each movie retconning and mocking the previous one just makes it hard to give any kind of fuck about.

sure he's a fag who makes good historical cooking vids on yt, what does that have to do with lonni?

he will rat out Luthen to Dedra or Partagaz but the ebin twist will be Luthen ordered him to snitch to buy time

I hope not. As a zoomer so much of my generation despises the sequel trilogy. It’s not like people are going to come back and love it in 20 years, it ruined Star Wars. At least in the 2000s even if prequels were considered bad you had 2003 Clone Wars with murder rapist Grievous which makes up for everything

yea Max is gay he's a faggot he's a cool faggot like freddy mercury, but still a fag, lonni isn't why does anyone think he is?

For outstanding success at ISB
Lonni Jung
Is immediately promoted to sub director of personnel operations on project DEATH STAR

Max is a straight theater kid

FUCK REBELS.jpg - 1080x969, 172.16K

Started watching the first season.
When does it get good?

first scene

Honestly their speech wasn't that much better.

rats out Luthen to cover for Organa

Cartoons should not be considered canon. Like comics, books, etc... they can fit into canon, but if a live-action property wants to ignore them it should not be a problem. Rebels is dogshit, the worst of the Filoni slop.

like episode 5. it is worth it though.

You're gonna have to stick with the first episode for a bit.
Like around the 10 second mark, the show gets good.

star wars theory on suicide watch

the whole season is great
but you realize after the prison arc starts

LMAO
Based

based af, just give them free reign to do what ever they want, and I just got the very simple diss of

yea I've heard her speak

the gilroys didn't want filonis trash fucking up their show, so they gave her a good speech and handwaved w/e the fuck the cartoon shit was, based af, and no I do not give a single fuck what filoni shit was.

It gets good immediately and gets better from there.

honestly her speech was good and w/e trash filoni wrote can fuck right off

3rd ep

are they taking the cartoons as canon for the tv shows?
is this why some chars from the other ones feel like that you should know them?

I watched Rebels and don't even remember that speech, most of the show was boring with only a couple good moments here and there.

It was SO much better lol

Untitled.png - 935x530, 621.8K

who is this faggot and why does he keep getting posted? filonis no1 simp or something I assume?

same I can barely remember anything about it just space wolves and space whales or whatever the fuck

Rebels is pure cancer. TV-Y7 DisneyXD cartoon that introduced time travel (LMAO), helicopter lightsabers, fucking giant wolves that go through time and space, hyperspace whales, comically inept Empire, the list goes on. It's pure, putrid cancer shit. It should be deleted from canon for time travel alone. People who think it's "good", let alone "PEAK SW" are insane mentally ill retards.

Get mogged furloni

SHUT IT DOWN!!!!

I must say I didn't expect the "from the river to the sea, Ghormanstine must be free" line, but it was alright.

starwars.com/news/andor-trivia-guide-week-3

In an earlier version of Andor Season 2, K-2SO was introduced tearing through a ship in a sequence reminiscent of both the Alien and Predator movie franchises. Instead, the final scripts incorporate Imperial KX-units into the Ghorman Massacre sequence.

"Earlier version" likely meant when they were going to do 5 seasons. But yeah, it sounds like the original idea was for them to take off with K2 on the ship, he fucks shit up and they eventually take him down. He only gets repaired and reprogrammed because his remains were already on the ship when they get back to Yavin, as opposed to Andor bringing the body back specifically to be reprogrammed.

The Filoni version was just a more straightforward declaration that the Emperor was responsible for what happened. Not as frilly as the Andor version with the preamble about truth.

who is this faggot and why does he keep getting posted?

The biggest star wars youtuber, often said he thinks Andor is boring and not real star wars.

God I hate those helisabers so much

I thought they were from an even earlier show though

tfw born as a boring human and not a cool alien who gets to wear a suit and a helmet at all times

I did not watch rebels and I feel good about that, I did try watching the first ep after s1 of andor, it was painful like literally was giving me a migraine with how awful it was, and don't give me that shit about it being for kids, that wasn't it I was watching it with my 11 year old son and he was the one who sighed and said

dad can we watch something else?

I think one of the problems from the other shows is that they're continuations of the cartoons and not the movies.

genocide is okay if it is provoked

hes such a little bitch

dang, that's a lot smoother

I kinda liked the Kallus plot even though it was pretty shoddily written.

I was about to say that

IMG_5326.jpg - 1331x551, 104.77K

got to hedge your bets, because of the situation. you know the one.

so dogshit got it
so dogshit got it

lol

JK Rowling but better

IMG_5593.jpg - 4032x3024, 1.15M

are they taking the cartoons as canon for the tv shows?

Ahsoka and Mandalorian (and following movies) are basically continuation of Rebels

Disney aren't paying me to cover Andor

If I pulled out their tubes would they die?

SEX WITH MON MOTHMA

ok why is he wearing a cap inside? and why is it backwards? is his mission to be as cringe as possible?

There wasn't even a fucking imperial presence in his life before he fucked up the apprehension of Cassian Andor, get fucked idiot.

Syril bros... It's over...

They should use the timeline fuckery to retcon the sequels or declare them a different timeline.

look we went back in time and now the first order doesn't exist

the end

Bald

Eh, I just think it's mid. A step down from TCW, but the kids I know who watched it weren't too down on it.

he worked for the empire the entire time thats the entire point, are you stupid?

i miss him

I am still surprised Tony didn't add the scene durring escape from Senate building where she takes off her shoes on heels

watch filoni resurrect andor as the reincarnation of darth revan(light side)

SHUT IT DOWN!!!!

I found that the later seasons made the show much better.

No, we the audience saw him for what he was. An incel.

Seventh Sister was hot

Kinda the same situation as TCW where they eased up on the kid friendliness a bit as time went on

NO HE FUCKING DIDN'T HE WORKED FOR A FUCKING SECURITY COMPANY THIS WAS THE STORY OF THE FIRST SEASON SHUT THE FUCK UP SHUT UP

tcw

yea I thought that cartoon was fucking awful as well, long before I had kids so idk what to tell you, you telling me that the dogshit i tried to watch with my son was even worse then the trash I attempted to watch years before just tells me what I already knew. It was all utter crap.

omw to report sexual misconduct in the workplace to Lord Vader(he frowns upon this sort of thing)

An incel.

But he had sex, and probably affairs with tomato ass

don't have stormtroopers or any armed imperial guarding senate building

can't prevent one senator from leaving the senate building

emergency response time >10 minutes to arrive on site

all andor had to do is shoot two people and walk Mon into her car

noone plant a tracker on Mon's car

no traffic cameras to intercept Mon's car

The absolute state of Empire. Seems like the rebel can just hijack and kidnap any senator at will.

which was a subsidiary of the empire its kinda the entire plot of the first season dumb dumb.

I want everyone to remember that while all of this is happening, the emperor is still a silly evil wizard doing silly evil wizard stuff in the palace

i-it's about the political ideology!!

one of my favorite parts was when Bix left Andor. At first I was like on lame she kills herself or leaves because she cant handle it, but no. She left so he would continue the noble fight. The way it was shot with her looking directly into the camera at andor, calling him to action, as well as the audience... absolute cinema

bix.jpg - 1240x836, 52K

which was a subsidiary of the empire

No, nigger, it was a company which had existed since the Republic with no oversight

yeah I expected the generic her dying and Cassian fighting for revenge but this was so much better

anon he's dead you can stop now, its over.

I'm not gonna pretend TCW doesn't have a fair share of bad episodes, but it definitely has some highlights. I'd probably put the good parts of TCW on par with S1 of Mando. Now if you didn't like Mando S1 either then I don't know what to say.

why do you think that? nothing in the movies would indicate that at all

she wasn't ever depicted as a strong female asskicking character so I bought her just leaving as she had nothing to contribute to the war effort directly. making it her choice actually worked.

also I guess we now know why Cassian is pulling a face immediately before getting hit by a nuclear explosion.

Wow Mon ages really well

Mon.jpg - 1109x406, 120.08K

It was a dumbass woman moment

They thought they had it all in hand since they had a plant in the rescue team. It seems from the Ghorman senator’s arrest that stormtroopers in the senate are unusual and maybe scandalous. Sheev is very image-conscious and wants to keep up the charade of democracy until the Death Star is complete.

HAG SEXOOOOOOOOOO

yea i'm not dragnetting though countless hours of shit to find one or two decent episodes and considering that I think the art style is atrocious, like really fucking terrible yea no thanks and all but no.

Did Alderaan ban Ozempic in 1 BBY?

BailOrgana.jpg - 1737x982, 464.15K

she was only 19 BBY you SICK FUCK!!!!

thats the entire point,

Not exactly. The entire point is that Syrill was unlucky guy who actually fell for the Empire's facade as shinning beacon of order and civilization. He had plenty of issues, which led him to his demise, BUT he actually never reveled in what Empire actually was. He turned away from it. And with it his whole life collapsed.

she wasn't ever depicted as a strong female asskicking character

What about the end of S2E6?

she was still carrying around a lot of trauma.

I really liked all the background rebels taking aim at the K unit starting up

Untitled.png - 2347x985, 2.57M

What about the end of S2E6?

Revenge arc.

It won't, the prequels got a boost with the side material, nobody is going to be nostalgic for the Sequel-era cartoon

Me on the left

she shoots her torturer but Cassian did 100% of the setup.

it bothered me that there were guys with guns on both sides and nobody mentioned that any missed shots would hit people on the other side.

this show looks expensive as fuck. I loved all the detail.

Aged like a fine wine

the point of his work being he was working for the imperials his entire life and never realized it.

I like how its implied that Force Healing is rare so it's not quite as stupid that it doesn't exist when Anakin needed it

I love this guy!

Luthen will get one and it will be next level keyno

was a slave

is okay with the empire using slaves

has a problem with sexual assault though

So is Wilmon not turning into Bor Gullet since he left Saw?

looks expensive

almost to the point that its astonishing Yidsney ever green lighted this at all

picrel

they built this entire set for basically one scene and never used again

has a problem with sexual assault though

since when?

There's plenty of viewing guides out there. It's not hard. The visuals improve after season 3 when the budget clearly gets kicked up a notch. Better lighting, more detailed models and backgrounds and such. The later seasons (and subsequent shows besides Rebels) can be downright gorgeous. Bad Batch is probably one of the most beautiful 3D cartoons ever made, which makes the weak writing all the more a shame.

Based Vader

Kino turns into Bor Gullet

He doesn't. It's BasedWarsTheory headcanon.

According to who? It's all offscreen

its possible that Disney simply agreed that the Volume wasn't cutting it. Andor season 1 looked waaaay better than The Mandalorian

also they're overreporting the season 2 budget for tax reasons as usual.

Ngl it does kinda speak to how bad some people are with money. Tony Gilroy is right, it was a miracle that this show got made, but he's no Gareth Edwards in terms of getting bang for your buck. Zero reason to make a practical tie fighter for that scene when it basically just looked and was mostly CG. Only the inside needed to be practical.

they built this entire set for basically one scene and never used again

theres so many examples of this too, so many amazing sets for a couple shots

I think the doctors are fixing that between this arc and the next

Somehow I don't think Palpatine would have any light side healers on his payroll even if it was common.

They'd never make it non-canon but they could at least make different "timelines" where one has our ST and another one has a ST that they actually made a plan for
This sequel stuff is just poisoning everything that comes out. Too bad they're just doubling down and the Starfighter movie's gonna be about the Last Order

literally everything you just posted is bringing back that migrane, I think we should stop talking to each other, we clearly have very different ideas on what is "gorgeous", everything I've seen of those cartoons looks disgusting. The worst art style I've ever seen, worse the one piece (goddamn that was vomit inducing shit), just absolutely terrible.

Since his cock got melted off and he's jealous of everyone else getting action.

burn this bread and head to the new one

sawliftoff.webm - 1920x804, 3.22M

NEW

then why are you posting this rando's shit as if it matters?

They did the same with X-wing

you'll never leave this thread alive, of that you can be sure.

Unironically wasted budget making a physical TIE that just looks like CGI in the scene anyway.

Because it's funny and memeable

When is that fighter going on the movie prop auction, I need this in my backyard. My max bid is 800 bucks

ok

andor and jyn getting nuked now sucks even more. like wtf was bix thinking this bitch is retarded. not that mad tho i didnt want her in this season to begin with.

andor and jyn getting nuked now sucks even more.

and that's a good thing

if its not live action i dont watch simple as. cartoons are retarded

imagine if the original idea where a ship swoops down and saves them happened lol

thats concept art not actual animation are you kidding me? I've looked up what those cartoons look like and they look fucking awful.

Could've just said you don't like animation period from the start and saved everyone some time

i'm the finger

sddefault.jpg - 640x480, 26.11K

thats not me the anon you've actually been talking to this is me you disingenuous retard, posting concept art is not posting the actual show, I've looked at what those shows look like and they look like shit.

The backgrounds/environments actually do look that good in the show. It's fair if you don't like the way they handle faces and such, but there's a lot of good work in these shows.

pic-1.jpg - 800x340, 67.66K

Wasted character though. He just dies like a chump.

Pretty much yes. I don't think Dedra would have to lie to guy like that.

the only good episodes are the 1-3 directed by gilroy

They would actually fit here. Just completely rekting rebels with glee. In other works they're just jobbers to make the heroes look cool.

Deathstar is almost complete gonna nuke these fuckers for fun
