This is a myth (ironic) that’s been circulating for years.
The Myth: Scottie was fired by Jamie over the Baghdad Battery incident (where they “pranked” Adam by hooking up a car battery to their “ark of the covenant”). Because that “prank” could have seriously injured or even killed Adam as the electricity passed close by his heart, and she was team lead.
The truth: while Scottie was team lead for that episode, the decision to do the car battery prank came from a producer (who actually left the show shortly after) over the protests of the crew, including Scottie.
