They also changed the gay guy killing himself because he spent years feeling like a prisoner to his doomsday prepper boyfriend into a wholesome chungus love story that was the second longest episode of the entire series behind only the pilot. And in this season they didn't have Ellie and Dina hooking up while Jesse was trying to radio them and tell them to track Joel and Tommy. It's weirdly regressive that they went from having realistically complicated gay characters in the game to making them flawlessly polished in the show. There's no reason to patronize the gays a decade after they got marriage legalized.
