The Empire's issue is its terror and fear tactics to prevent dissent just encourages it. So many rebels, who were once indifferent or even supportive of the Empire, must have been born from it doing something reprehensible either in general or personally affecting them - leave most people alone and they will just go along with the regime, but the Empire does not. Other than not doing things that just pushes people into dissent, it seems like they do not need so many Star Destroyers. It is not like the rebels have that many comparable ships, Star Destroyers do not seem to be that effective in countering the rebels, and there are seemingly no other galactic powers of comparable strength. So instead of going all in on Star Destroyers, reduce the focus and instead build more smaller ships - 1 Star Destroyer must equal say 10 or whatever corvettes, which enables the Empire to cover more systems.

This show sucks. Why are there red brick buildings in Star Wars now? Since when did we decide it was okay for things to look remotely familiar or grounded in any kind of real-world material? Everything should be metal domes or weird sci-fi blobs, not something I might see in an actual city. It completely ruins the immersion when the architecture doesn't scream “space fantasy” at every second.
And what’s with all the talking? Why are people spending whole episodes sitting in rooms having conversations about politics, power, fear, and survival? That’s not what Star Wars is about. Where are the Jedi flipping around deflecting lasers and solving everything with a dramatic lightsaber duel? Why are people struggling and planning and failing when they could just wave their hand and solve it all with the Force in five seconds?

You can maybe say Bothans, but if we just take ROTJ rather than rely on extended universe creations, it is arguably not even clear if Bothans are aliens.

This has to be one of the most overrated shows. I was "convinced" to finally check it out after seeing all these glowing reviews of season 2. I had season 1 downloaded for years but I hate onions wars so I avoided watching it until now.

The second season has been very poor in my opinion, uninteresting and pretty bland. At least the first season was more concise and straightforward.

I honestly can't even name half of them other than bix nood and cassian. Star Wars is silly in general too, and it feels unserious. There's good here and there. the acting performances aren't awful, but the characters are all very dull. It feels like it's trying to be profound when it just isn't. The story already has an ending due to Rogue One as well. I just think this same story could have been told in a far better way if it wasn't Star Wars, in fact Star Wars feels like a detriment to this rather than a feature.
