My biased and the correct opinion:
The series is good in the cinematography department
The series is bad on OST, completely forgettable
It captures %40 of the original comic in fidelity. The other %60 is double the amount of made up characters, plots for them, and padding scenes.
It reaches 1/3 of the main comic plotwise, so expect 2 more seasons (with this amount of padding) to finish it.
The original spirit of the Eternaut, is like those cool lines from the mediocre 10000AC movie: "A man draws a circle, and protects his family and those within. Some draw bigger circles and protect their friends and neighbors. Some then draw even bigger circles".
That's the journey of The Eternaut and how it starts with him and his house (not Favalli's). In this series this is changed to all be "collective heroes".
