Can we still save cinema?
Can we still save cinema?
I'm sick to death of white people music too. Bland as fuck
I wish I could call people faggots on Reddit but I got banned for posting that word
horror but its about truma
ironic films
A24
I'm sick to death of non-Boss-Baby films too
Stop casting nogs. Don't care if the story is in the deepest part of Africa; no groids.
Getting some Boss Baby vibes from your post.
in many ways squid game is an homage to parasite
How many films use Nirvana songs like that? All I can think of is The Batman.
Queer ha Come As You Are.
For me it's horrible audio mixes, and it absolutely plagues a lot of movies now. Where the music drowns out the dialogue and you can barely hear it (or can't hear at all). Nolan seems to get a lot of hate for this, and rightfully so to be fair, but it's not only him. Subtitles are a must on a lot of modern movies for this very reason.
It's because every audio mixer is mixing for the assumption it's going to be watched center row in the perfect atmos setup.
t. work in audio, where people act like 3D sound is the norm, and are totally detached from standard setups.
yt pp don't season there musik
my entire dad says hollywood is creatively bankrupt and that the only hope is a technological walk back
reminds me of some musician saying that he played his music in his car to understand how most people would have listened to it, making things enjoyable even on low-end setups is very important
Instagram filters slapped over top for "mood"
while its true there's also a lot of actors (especially some notable ESL spic actors) who mumble their lines also and everyone regards this as 'acting'.
That's a true story but it was the music producer Martin Hannet. He used to put it on cassette and listen in his car outside the studio
thanks, I coudln't remember where I head it from. Given that guy's track record it's safe to say that he knew his stuff
Pretty captain marvel had an embarrassing scene with Come as You Are
They need to have an established good story, and make just that, not that plus 8 more seasons of shit. They need to not have stories written by committees while they're filming. You can tell when they're just making it up as they go along. Do a book series first or something to feel things out, don't just have 40 people throw shit at a wall and film it the next day.
What if action and horror movies began using Israel types as the villains? That would be a big step into restoring American kinos imho. We've all seen The Nun 1-3 but what about The Merchant and The Rabbi installments of The Conjuring Universe? What about a show that depicts ruthless kabbalistic Chabad in America like the Mormons in American Primeval? And Gal Gadot and Lena Dunham are fucking deported for good to Siberia
Minecraft uses Lithium for a couple seconds lol

More to do with ebonics being mainstream, and spanglish and awkwafina degradation chinks. Hollywood studios often impose an entire guidebook of vocabulary not to be used in scripts now, because of ESLs and low IQs
We’d probably have to full on save western civilization first and then rebuild Hollywood from the ground up in order to save cinema at this point. It’s sad, but at least old Hollywood still exists in the form of all the great movies they left for us to watch now in this dystopian nightmare future we’re stuck in.

this site should have stayed dead
michael jackson used to do this in his limo. he once showed up after closing to a sam goodys and the staff let him in, he bought his new album and then invited staff into his limo to listen with him as they ate pizza he ordered and drove around. story on yt. legend
There was that Peter Pan movie with smells like teen spirit.
Hook was before Nirvana. That was Elton John. They're both gay
It was a Peter Pan prequel from a decade ago.
Watchmen trailer is kino with that one Smashing Pumpkins song
(also some kind of 90s Batman reference)
actual film uses the most obnoxious pop songs
why?
i've seen people complain about this scene endlessly. haven't seen the rest of the film, but this looks fun and fine?
same shit as A Knight's Tale, which was anachrokino.
science fiction film uses 'epic' orchestral score
bring back electronic music.

how do you go from this to the snoozefest T2 OST? it was the same guy!
It is a good topic, you are correct and I feel ashamed
I rarely watch films released after the early 90s so I don't really care
Gotta love they wouldn't say mulatto lmao
I think it has to do with retards mixing everything for Atmos and 5.1/7.1 set ups when 99% of the greatest films of all time exist on a stereo or mono mix. It's fine in DVDs/Blu-rays cus you can switch the audio tracks but streaming usually only has ONE sound mix for the language.
Streamers also crush the bitrate while raising prices to “ensure quality service”. Your 1080p/4k stream has a lower bitrate than a 20 year old DVD.
