That's true dedication to one's craft right there.

all my Suspiria images are in my Kolobs folder

waiting for streaming but heard nothing but good things

Critter 2 (1998) is rated PG-13: Has uncensored naked tits and ass

Critters Attacks(2019) is rated R: Has no nudity whatsoever

Funny how the American movie rating works now, kinda like how the original Halloween movies written by John Carpenter (Halloween(1978) and Halloween 2(1981)) had uncensored female nudity yet the Halloween Ends(2022) which is supossed to be a direct ""canonical"" follow up to his work made sure there wasn't a single naked woman on it's entirely but added more gore
I'm betting that the upcoming Toxic Avenger reboot isn't going to have any female nudity like the previous ones since they originally said the remake was going to be PG before changing it to PG-13 before finally adding more gore, plus they don't seem to have Toxie's blind girlfriend on the reboot

Critters 2.jpg - 1280x1920, 666.22K

Do you still believe?

Dario Argento is a legend and I'm tired of pretending otherwise.

I wonder if the Witchboard remake has any nudity, all 3 movies of the original trilogy had nudity (first one even had pubic hair), but all the preview's reviews for the remake only mention gore

American puritanism is truly tragic.

Why were you pretending otherwise?

missed you bros

Let me be the first to bleh:

the uk was just as bad, most of the video nasties are tame as fuck

WE WUZ BLACKULAS 'N SHIEEET

No thanks.

not watching a movie because of the race of the actors

The best Toxic Avenger was part 2, the Japanese setting was fun and you get a cameo from Go Nagai AKA creator of Mazinger Z, Devilman, Cutie Honey, etc...

I know, that's where americans got it from.

Hi, /hor/, welcome back.

we're here now bros

I do that but with indian people, i'll never watch an indian film.

Most people in the UK used the video nasty list as a to-watch list, so UK horror fans have a common canon post Mary Whitehouse

It's similar to what happened to Tipper Gore trying to ban Twisted Sister with the new law of Parental Advisory stickers, making them the albums kids wanted to buy

As if the plot isn't zogged as well lol

oh yeah I waited for Anon Babble to make a comeback to spam the same old 10 pictures of a woman

I saw you guys on reddit

You weren't on bootleg Anon Babble shitposting with us? Weak.

Only the first 2 Critters are any good

Good taste
Leprechaun gets lots of shit for retconning the lore on every single movie, but TCM does the same, third movie came out and retconned the second one as never happening, then the fourth one came out did the same and so on
unless you're supossed to headcannon every movie's Leatherface as a different guy

As much as I hate Anon Babble, the mods, jannies, and the fact that 50%+ of all threads & posts aren't organic, I'm so happy it's back.

Anyone else catch this earlier?

RIP the friday the 13th the new blood's actress

BROS I CAME AS FAST AS I COULD
*panting*
Sinners actually sucks DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS. Extremely overrated, as much of a negrodrama/musical as it is horror and despite the vampires looking kkkool it's just reheated ideas.

I also saw Until Dawn yesterday. It's ok, basically exactly what you think it would be and no more. Typical Sandberg jumpscares, groundhog day stuff. Alongside The Monkey and Final Destination this is basically the year of the death spectacle film.

Let's party!

yes

Ash (2025) is now out on VOD so I'll check that out.

Billions must bleh

see

page 12

I've seen threads hit page 11 like that one lost media thread last summer that stayed on the bottom of the catalog an entire day after hitting bump limit. This is some Minus World shit right here though.

If you like The Thing/Alien or you happen to be a fan of Flying Lotus' music, you'll get something out of it.

kek

some recent films I watched

Young Frankenstein (1974)

This had a bunch of scenes that gave me a hearty laugh. Gene Wilder really maxes out his energy here. Surprisingly safe film so it's more of a comedic Frankenstein remake than the new film the title would suggest.

The Stuff (1985)

All the SFX were great, really loved that aspect and the goofy ads.
The plot structure and character motives ironically feel like they were written by some alien who has a vague idea of what a movie is but not really.

I need you to watch Q

deleted entire Anon Babble folder because it looked like it was really over

welp

Oh it's by the same director. I'll check it out.

WTF is a 'safe film'?

Kek I watched The Asphyx on the break, we all made choices we have to live with

Same lead too but unrecognisable

It was okay

Like a film following an established template. It starts out with him being the descendant of Dr. Frankenstein not wanting to follow in his footsteps, but then he basically becomes the archetype of him immediately after hitting the castle and goes through a bunch of the classic scenes from the original.

All Hallow's Eve in full frame.
the individual blu ray that was around had added black bars but they removed them on the version with Terrifier 4K. from Umbrella the individual blu ray was not pressed though which led people to believe it was a bootleg(pretty sure it wasn't)
dunno what's the intended format but imdb says 2.39:1 which corresponds to the format i first watched it on. the new format makes much more sense to me from a visual standpoint because of how close everything is shot from. could be just a style tho.
sound is more compressed on paper and surround is matrixed on a dolby stereo track and this time around there's no commentary however. better sync here and there.

cool design

We are so back bros.

This always reminds me of the CC Eaten Back to Life cover.

I'm surprised Saw isn't discussed more often in these threads given Baskintranny is always on Anon Babble.

Boobs bad, gore good
Yet they were totally fine with nudity back then, they switched it up over the years

how toxic zombies made section one I'll never know.

RIP, that was my favourite FT13th movie, always found human Jason to be lame, undead Jason was far better IMO, a way more unique look plus he's the one everyone seems to remember if merch and parodies are anything to go by

I saw a couple of comments on shart so I looked it up. Didn’t even know it existed until earlier.
Pretty impressive turkslop. Would definitely watch again.
My favourite too. Was cringe as hell but fun and Jason was cool

Hi /hor/
A while back I was reminded of a horror film(?) that I think I watched around Halloween but cannot for the life of me remember what it was.

The premise was that a bunch of sorority girls burried a pledge in a crypt/tomb but then security showed up so they all ran out of there and she died. Then her ghost haunts the girls and kills them. I know it's pretty standard which makes me think it might be an episode of an anthology series but I don't remember it as an episode of Tales From The Crypt and it's too dark for Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction which are the only anthology series I've watched recently.

Any ideas /hor/? It's been bugging me being unable to remember where that was from.

that story made it into vhs 99

was it sov quality? does sound a little familiar

based

That's it! It didn't fit my timeline because I thought it was around Halloween but I watched VHS99 back when it released in the summer.
I always forget about the VHS movies which is weird because I really like the first one.
I watched the absolute garbage Urban Legend series that Eli Roth produced and kept thinking it was from there but it wasn't.

I like this poster, simple yet effective

This is legit one of the best things I've ever seen.

they made a found footage about that didn't they

Which one of these bad boiz would you say has the worst franchise overall?
My vote goes to Ghostface/Scream

Skye Riley

Based and good taste-pilled.

Total horror masterpiece victory

winners.jpg - 751x237, 53.33K

It's incredibly average. The kind of film aimed at sliding perfectly over an Americans smooth brain.

file.png - 702x165, 99.8K

Eh, she's pretty, but got hot as an adult.

why yes, 90% of our budget DID go to Doug Bradley's salary

Why were there only three threads?
