It seems like he didn't get to do much for me to actually form a "bond" with him. He spent like 3 episodes dying in the first season, two episodes were gay romance, and there were only what, 8 episodes? I'm sure if I played the game I would care more but as a show they did not do a very good job of making this an emotional death.
