Is this still the biggest KWAB of all time

Is this still the biggest KWAB of all time

struggle to break into the American market for decades

send over a 26 episode anime that only got made because ultraman was delayed

anime is super popular

follow it up with a different anime made for the US in 2004 instead of just making a season 2

second (third I guess) anime flops and is canceled after 13 episodes

I don't know, have you tried posting about it on the relevant cartoon board?

it was on Anon Babble queer

Nah you can keep him

faggot

So is Amphibia faglord

I have no idea what that is, you gay tranny

What show?

what the fucks a kwab?

zoids
kevin nash was a bitch

lel

that gay guy who runs cartoon network was gay

You got that a little mixed up. They followed up Fuzors with a dub of the original Zoids anime, renamed "Chaotic Century." Then that was followed up by Fuzors, which was a mess of a production.

As a retarded kid I found their handling of the anime broadcasts in America very confusing, but they did what they were meant to do and got me to beg my parents for the toys. Liger Zero is still one of the coolest mechs ever.

Those toys were amazing. Probably some of my favorites since Beast Wars.

They followed up Fuzors

That should read New Century Zero, not Fuzors.

the timeline of airing was
new century zero -> chaotic century part 1/2 -> fuzors
and it died by fuzors because fuzors is gay and lacks the sovl of NCZ and chaotic century was boring

tranime

Will Anon Babble ever be able to discern between anime meant for young boys that airs at prime time and anime meant for 20-something incels that airs at 2am?

chaotic century was broadcast at like 7 am and was made in japan before new century. fuzors was on at like primetime on the saturday night block and was meant to succeed new century

I think it stands for krabs wiln't ava bwoman

they made chaotic century to try to sell toys in japan and then new century because the tv station ordered another season of anime because ultraman got pushed back 6 months. toonami more or less just ordered a dub of the newest animes, that's why we got wing before G Gundam and generally didn't get a lot of early 90s/late 80s animes. they ordered new century because it was newer, saw it was popular so tomy made fuzors for the US market which was unpopular

no one watched chaotic century, it was on at like 7 am for some reason. new century was on toonami after school and fuzors was on that saturday night block with transformers, heman and Justice league and gundam sneed

i watched it for a while while getting ready for school but id miss episodes often and the plot was really boring and not worth the payoff
guardian force felt better in some ways but sloppier in others so i lost interest quickly
NCZ was superior because it had a very likeable (generic) cast of characters with decent dub lineup and the fun sports format of the plot just worked better for me even if the ending was bad
fuzors was ass though and i didnt care for it at all and dropped it within a few episodes of it airing

It's strange that it only got animated shows so late in its lifetime.

ZoidsInsideC.jpg - 1200x881, 310.37K

ok but can we talk about how impressive the CGI was for the time and for how jank the IP is overall
pretty solid for late 90s early 2000s toy commercial

Krark

Petit Krark

yeah its weird that if you read xmen books from the 80s they have zoids ads and kitty has zoids

Starriors (First attempt at US Zoids) was cool, I wish that had gotten a cartoon instead of just a comic book.

most figures, not just zoids, had battle stories even into the 90s

give me the QRD on the charged particle cannon

The amount of effort they put into these battle stories often made you assume it was based on some popular anime or cartoon.

idk if they had a comic. the first zoids cartoon was 1999

I love He-Man's non-canon bastard lore

7.jpg - 812x1081, 281.37K

never was interested in the zoids toys
made too much noise with the automatically moving parts
it flopped cause of that, if the toys aren't interesting nobody gives a shit about the show

definitely the intent. early adoption of loredumping as a marketing tactic. which is great, a great way to ignite a kid's imagination and get them to read

pokemon preanime lore was based too

the starcraft custom map based on this show was good as fuck

liger zero schnider

the op is less cool and gets old quickly when you realize every single episode climax has the arranged lyric-less version in the background
but yes amerifat anime dubs of that time often got shafted and mogged by latino versions of anime like saint seiya

wow, look at that nonAmerican seethe

What is that 70/80s anime intro style called? Like an old man singing along what sounds like a north korean propaganda song? Gundamuuuu, Gundamuuu

happy pepe.jpg - 361x363, 12.98K

uses wrestling fan terminology

watches anime

OP was every fat kid in high school wearing a Goku graphic tee

you are 100% gay if you didn't watch toonami in the late 90s and early 2000s

The animation style looks very 2000s (anime) to me which is fitting for 1999 series, the music is just some dude singing which an acoustic guitar (although there's parts where it becomes a duo), so I guess you could say it's folk, which is a very broad definition on itself, more precisely folk rock

and that fat kid in the goku tee was one of my best friends

Kevin Was Ass Blasted

Is that how it went? Always wondered why Zoids seemed like it was just killed off. Sad, I remember enjoying it.
Warriors is good but reusing mostly the same visuals for 3 separate arcs, 2 of which were filler, makes it feel really lazy. The dub at least had the decency to use relevant imagery for each arc.

and there's also a synthesizer there

I only saw New Century and it was kino.

damn mods start deleting posts shitting on americans
it's getting closer to china every day

yeah from what I can gather chaotic century/new guardians were planned as a mid season anime while like ultraman or something else was on hiatus and then new century was a last minute thing because ultraman got delayed so they got asked to fill 26 weeks/episodes of tv. toonami bought the dub for new century because it was newer and because gundam was so big at the time.
Because new century was "rushed" it was more episodic with really generic characters with the lore stuff only really coming at the end. and the show trying to show off the new liger zero toys. I think new century was more popular in the US, hence fuzors being made for the US market but fuzors was gay and they would have been better off just making a second season of new century

There's no way there unironic zoids fans, nobody liked it
t. The ultimate authority on success

mods deleted all the posts saying nonAmericans are third worlders

to their credit it was as you said majority filler so spending budget on new opening sequences probably wasnt going to happen
most of doma and all of kcgpx look like absolute dogshit too to match

ncz was generic but you have to admit you got excited every single time they went in for CAS and this started playing
youtube.com/watch?v=VYnmoSk3DDk

I liked the show. I am just saying it was episodic with stock characters due to the rushed production and that's why they never made a season 2

when?

Seeing Liger Zero transform was kino.
Also Naomi Fluegel was a peak waifu.

kek those pants

I thought moonbay and fiona were really cute and I wanted to have sex with them

very early role for carol-anne day
she would have been 13-14 when recording her roles as fiona

Van

Tom Holland

Fiona

Hunter Schafer

Irvine

Robert Pattinson

Moonbay

Zendaya

Raven

Timothee Chalamet

not bad but theyd probably need to cast a woman for fiona instead of a man

2 trannies

Hunter is a woman. I know the name can be confusing. It's usually a guys name. She transitioned and is female now. Very cute as well.

You are Jewish.

They were among my earliest cooms

1.jpg - 631x900, 333.98K

very anime

Minecraft proved that simple shapes that don't tae more than 5 seconds to guess what animals they're supposed to be are more popular

zoids are decades older than minecraft

9 months months from your birthday

months months

The fact that I can't remember much of anything for Fuzors probably means something.
Yeah but the last season also had shit animation outside of its opening. Honestly of the last 3 seasons I think Doma might have had the best animation by virtue of having at least some good moments.

I think I watched one or 2 episodes of fuzors, got mad the kid was a faggot and not bit and then stopped watching it
