Supply and demand. Mass immigration and white flight caused more whites to move out of the cities and stay in on suburbs/towns. Demand for housing there goes up. There’s only so many places there to build houses and eventually supply can’t keep up with demand causing prices to go up even more. This is especially true after the covid hoax. Retail begins to be seen as a safe investment, not just by Americans but also by foreign entities. Many houses aren’t even owned or lived in by Americans. This further decreases supply while increasing demand. It is more expensive to build a house, labor costs more, supplies cost more, more regulations lead to increase cost. The increased costs to build new houses makes pre-existing homes more valuable causing their prices to go up. Women join the workforce, families have more money to spend on homes. Families with 2 incomes start outbidding and offering more than 1 worker families causing prices to go up. There are lots of reasons, but by far the most damaging one is shitskins and immigration. Get rid of shitskins, stop immigration, let the population go down, housing will be cheap.
