The pilot episode was painfully slow until literally the last minute of the episode. If you went into it cold, you would think it was a family drama and that the whole “last man” thing was just a metaphor. I think a lot of people turned it off 45 minutes in before the plague even happened.

While trying to save them all btw literally fighting against womans stupidity to try and save them. 355 is kino in both the comic and the show, I'd love to see her in something again because she nailed the role.
