Is there a single episode where it's a common illness instead of something super rare?
Is there a single episode where it's a common illness instead of something super rare?
if I'm remembering correctly when that does turn out to be what it is the patient dies because the treatment they used ends up killing the patient

pt is sick
they immediately think she has cancer
radiate her with chemo and meds
destroys her immune system
it wasnt cancer, but a basic infection from a bra strap
no immune system to fight the infection, dies of sepsis
all the time? I feel like half the episodes are cancer or a simple vitamin deficiency
Plenty. Here, they’re all listed on the wiki:
house.fandom.com
"Wilson's Heart" episode.
Also I believe the wiki has something called Zebra factor, from 1 to 10, 10 being the rarest.
Not many. It's made clear that he doesn't give a fuck about the patients - he cares about hard puzzles, that take his mind off his continuous pain and miserable existence.
It's common, usually in that episode they're searching in all the wrong places because they assume it's a more complex disease usually because there's some kind of red herring symptom or some other thing that's blocking the true symptom from being obvious. Also not every episode is focused on solving a complex diagnosis or w/e.
You don't watch House for the medical plots.
House's motto is "everybody lies". Many episodes revolve around people lying and obscuring the facts which make it hard for them to find the root cause or symptoms. It's just rarely a common illness that can be immediately tested in less than an hour or through some of those tests they do that check for multiple common diseases
that episode where the girl had testicular cancer
or the one the black guy just had skin cancer, there are many more
white woman tells him to back off
spergs out and punches a wall

Did you need a thread for this? And the whole point of the show is that House diagnoses people based on insane theories to keep the viewer interested.
Is there a single episode where the insurance doesn't cover whatever the hell they do?
It was a teaching hospital. Yes these exist. Same with dental. You put your well being on the the line for free or reduced cost treatment so students can learn.
horrifically forced cucked romance with cuddy
gets put on a bus
doesnt come back for finale
what a disaster
not really. the gist is that house only takes patients that other doctors can't figure out, so the common or obvious illnessess are discarded early
Why the FUCK do you think House held seminars and the hospital name was literally Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital? It was likely funded by government subsities, tuition, and high profile cases which is why House didn't get his ass fired.
If it were common, they would not call House.
There are plenty instances of it being something common but other symptoms disuaded them from the truth. For example in the first season a woman has congestive heart failure.
it’s every other episode you speedwatching faggot
Did you need to post that after already did it?
surprised they never did the racist patient plot that other medical shows do but then again house was always seconds from calling foreman a jiggaboo so I guess they didn't need to do one
You do until the last couple seasons.
I don't speedwatch, but I gotta admit my brain stops caring about the disease halfway through every episode
the rest of what we found means congratulations you thought this was real pussy so you raped your own child AND you're an unknowing queer
racist patient plot when every episode is the racist doctor episode
Would have been too much
House is pretty racist even by pre-woke standards but it would’ve been funny seeing him go toe to toe with some black
nationalist
it's a "chase tongue kisses a little girl with cancer" episode
it's a "six-year-old girl has hit puberty and is menstruating" episode
it's a "12-year-old diver girl turns out to be pregnant" episode
it's a "eight-year-old boy tries to fuck cameron" episode
it's a "little girl's mother thinks she's having seizures, she's actually masturbating" episode
it's a "teenage girl seduced and fucked her father but actually she's a boy" episode
I was gonna go through this and say which were real and which were fake but they’re all real kek
What was the writers’ problem
It's often a common illness with an uncommon complication.
Cancer come up all the time, allergies too.
