I liked Speed Racer, it was a visually a marvel. No idea wtf was Jupiter's Ascending all about tho. Cloud Atlas felt more like Tykwer than the Wachowskies honestly. Matrix 4 was basically a shitpost to tank the franchise, and somehow it did not work cause WB wants to do a fifth film, Lana not involved aside from executive producer or something which means nothing. The director is the guy who did Cabin in The Woods (i really don't like it, it's quite overrated, they do the reveal way too early which makes the "horror" part of the film lame and boring, while the rest of the film is okay but feels too rushed, and the motivation for the organisation is stupid, why do they even need a central goal, just make it like SCP).

Yet at that level of cultural hit you would think they would have cranked out 10-15+ decent mid-level projects
