Hahaha, anon, so funny and original. Made my day :3
Obviously, this needs to be done animated and there's plenty of voice actors that could do the roles. The real question is what kind of style would be reasonable to work with on a realistic budget.
you make it animated and you get simon templeman and michael bell, easy
I could see it being done as 3D in the style of Harlock: Space Captain ($30M budget ~2013).
Thats retarded weeb shit
Same as Legacy of Kain then?
better question is how do you do it? in order or fractured, for instance you could start with soul reaver and have raziel discover the story of kain as he progresses through SR 1 and 2, then you go into defiance, its a 3 season show
Fractured for sure. If there's one major takeaway from Snyder's recent failure (that isn't marketing-related) then it's not doing shit chronologically.
agreed, I'm sure some people would argue you have to start with blood omen but hell no you start with the greatest opening ever
youtube.com
and Raziel gets the story of Blood Omen in bits and pieces, with the occasional switch to Kain throughout the show hinting and all manner of things Vorador can fill in some blanks as well. You end s1 with the reveal that Kain refused the sacrifice.
Kains prequels arent worth exploring just skip straight to raziel
this is what I mean you reveal Kains story as Raziels progresses, he learns it as the audience does and your initial impression of Kain goes back and forth trying to figure out who the fuck this guy is as the story progresses. You don't do blood omen but you can show bits and peices as it goes on, if done right people would be incredibly hyped for the promise of another Kain flash back you reveal his story while Raziel hunts through Nosgoth in SR 1 and 2. Blood Omen 2 doesn't count btw that wasn't Hening its not canon.
Brother you dont even need blood omen at all, soul reaver already gives you all the backstory
you never played Blood Omen their are important things that happen, for instance Turel in Defiance doesn't make much sense unless you know the story of Blood Omen. Voradors attack on the Guardians of the Pillars, and of course Kain becoming a vampire in the first place because of being given the Heart of Darkness the heart of Janos the last true vampire. Kain's first encounter with Mobeius, hell the first time Kain encounters the paradox of 2 physical soul reavers existing in the same place and time. The story of Blood Omen is vital but you give it out in bits a pieces as you follow Raziel on his vengeance quest. This isn't a game its a tv series. Remember who the real protagonist of the story is. If you've never played Blood Omen you missed out on 1/2 of the story.
Legacy of Kain wasnt made by disgusting chinks retard
gotta cast Anna Gunn as Ariel
Maybe you should brush up on Defiance again, all thats explained
It's clearly weebcoded. Now go take your vitriol for my slanty-eyed frens and shove it up your fat gay ass.
you think it is but you'd be wrong, I am playing defiance yet again right now actually, and their is a lot you missed by never playing blood omen I know its really old but you'd be surprised just how well it holds up in game play and as I already said the story is fantastic, I agree you start with SR but you can't ignore Blood Omen. For instance did you know that Vorador was the one that killed Airel? Kain was the new balance guardian so mobius sent assassins to kill him. Vorador used the heart of Janos to resurrect him as the new Balance Guardian. Thats why Kain hates Mobeius so much just fyi their is a ton of things like that in blood omen you never knew about because you never played it.
no it isn't why not leave this thread about something you know nothing about now before you embarrass yourself further.
Only one embarrassing themselves is you and your fat gay ass.
lol you are retarded you have no idea what this is, just desperate for a (you)?
Luke Goss as raziel is kinda perfect actually. good choice
start with blood omen and add hints, foreshadowing of soul reaver. only fans would notice.
no... she fucked ted.
no dammit other way around, everyone starts of thinking Kain is the villian and you slowly get hints and stories and flashbacks of Kain slowly coming to the realization he's IT he is The last barrier protecting the whole world and he's been trying to solve a puzzle for 2000 years by the time Raziel emerges from the Old Gods lair.
I know its really old but you'd be surprised just how well it holds up
kek not him but i tried playing it in 2003 or whenever defiance came out and i couldn't deal with how dated it was even then
i did my best to brush up on lore by reading whatever materials there were and called it a day. maybe that's why i always thought the lore was kind of a mess
Its embarassing bug people refuse to portray their disgusting slant eyes in animation and pretend to be white people LOL
it really isn't its very well thought out, the game is proto diablo but the story well the story is fantastic, heres a tid bit if you explore all the extra areas in SR you will find the broken skull castle, thats the lair of the necromancer guardian and you break it in blood omen, seeing it in 3d was a treat.
I played BO after playing SR for the first time when it released never found that area until years after I had played BO.
Another one the reason the cathedral in Defiance is so heavily guarded is because Kain just broke out stealing the Soul Reaver, first time he traveled in time in Blood Omen. He fought he nemisis/hlyden first time so turel retreated to his lair where he met raziel thats why the nemisis is weak in that fight in defiance, because Kain already kicked his ass. Finally I played SR2 after Blood Omen and so when the og soul reaver and kains came into play anyone who had played Blood Omen would've been hyped af because thats the second time Kain experienced 2 soul reavers in the same place and time.
When the scene went down like it did in SR2 it was fucking epic, because you know Kain knows. I never expected such care and careful plotting but hey thats hennig for you no wonder she told naughty dog to fuck off with their woke shit during uncharted 4 development.
ah, sounds like a nice experience, i played the games in the most retarded order possible, just because i found out about each of them out of order. played blood omen 2 first after finding out about it from a mag, then defiance, then soul reaver 2 and i never beat sr1(was this even on PC or did i emulate it?) or blood omen 1 because i just couldn't handle the gameplay, felt like torture playing them and i especially hated the camera. all that said i still loved the series, excellent presentation all around and i eventually managed to form some understanding of the story
i did also hate diablo but i never got the impression blood omen 1 was like it, it felt more like an action game to me, the movement was more fluid
oh no that literally everything out of order, I played SR then BO it did take a little while to get the game play but after that was great fun BO is 100% an action game. Then SR2 then reluctantly BO2 which I realized was some off shoot non-canon nonsense but I didn't hate it, then of course Defiance. I still play them after i'm done with Defiance sometime in a few months i'll probably start a new SR game been a few years.
You really want to see a Legacy of Kain adaptation in our current era of filmmaking? These modern hacks think they're above the source material and they'd try to improve. Then it'd be revealed they didn't even play the games or read about them beyond a synopsis the producer gave them. Also it'd be a crime for LoK to become popular among normies. Imagine the retarded theories that'd gain traction and we'd be stuck dealing with for a decade.
