Is the Batman (1966) TV show criminally underrated?

It's absolutely based.
it's slightly overrated
its funny how Batman purists hate it the most because it reminds them how silly Batman actually is and SHOULD be.
I think I spotted a continuity error.
the 50s (?) comics are at their greatest when YOU, the reader, solve detective shit along with Batman. the fucking Robert Pattinson series is never gonna have him turn to the camera and discuss the clues and techniques: "Can YOU figure out who The Red Hood is?"
this show kinda does it, always had fun trying to figure out the riddles before the Dynamic Duo (some are absolute bullshit because i don't know there's a Gotham Jewel Depository or whatever).
Batman as a character is boring. it's what he does that's interesting, mostly detective work, the interesting characters are the villains. i don't give a shit how moody and traumatised he is. i'm a male. i want male stories.
Batman is usually serious but in this interpretation he's portrayed as a light hearted almost comedic character
