Best order to watch the Star Wars movies

If someone has never seen Star Wars this is the best order to show them.

A New Hope: Give them the impression Luke's father was a hero. Darth Vader murdered him along with the Jedi and ruined everything throwing the galaxy into fascism.

The Phantom Menace: We see the Jedi in their prime, and we see Luke's father as a little kid with so much potential. It's so vibrant you wonder how everything can go wrong.

Attack of the Clones: We see Luke's father as a hero and as a Jedi. We see him fall in love with Padme. We also see the galaxy pushed into war.

Empire Strikes Back: We see Luke continue the struggle against the Empire. He is instructed by Yoda. He faces off against Darth Vader the man who killed his father only to find out he IS his father.

Revenge of the Sith: We find out why Anakin turned to the dark side and how he became Darth Vader.

Return of the Jedi: And now we can see the final confrontation as Luke tried to redeem his father.

First watch Ewok Caravan of Courage, followed by Stars Wars the Clone Wars (2003) Volume 2, next watch Rogue One, this is important you have to play Star Wars Starfighter, followed by watching Solo: A Star Wars Story, then watch the Star Wars Holiday Special. It's important that you watch Attack of the Clones after this, but not before pausing at Kamino so you can watch Star Wars Acolyte. Once you pop AOTC back in be sure to put Return of the Jedi on in the background. When the Redi Rocks number starts playing you need to star playing The Last Jedi simultaneously. Follow that up with Clone Wars 2008 the series, then watch the film. Watch A New Hope and then the Phantom menace. Listen to thr Chrismas in the Stars Album. When it gets to "What do you get a wookiee for christmas" start watching The Empire Strikes back. Follow up with Revenge of the Sith, Rogue One again, and then Ahsoka. Next you'll need to watch the Droids animated series. Rise of the Skywalkers is next but only if you haven't watched The Force Awakens in which case watch Andor. Finally finish everything off with Ewoks the battle for Endor.

you can just watch 4K 35mm scans of all the original versions instead of "despecialized" edits of the special editions.

They have almost nothing in common, even if you think Frank Herbert gets total dominion over the concept of a "desert planet" for all time.

They are both an attempt at covering/spoofing the story of Juba II and his lineage without directly pissing off any one belief system.
Both of the franchises are very clear on him (Anakin/Paul) being "The Messiah" though, because he was literally the heir of the Massylii. You can see for yourself why these two men resorted to creating their own canon rather than making a direct biography in the style of a historical blockbuster.

1-6 is the correct order. It's the order Lucas intended, and he altered 4-6 to make this viewing order optimal. The entire point of replacing Anakin in the ending is 6 is that you're supposed to be very emotional because you watched Revenge of the Sith.

The Special edition of Empire isn't bad, they mostly just add windows to Cloud City, and replaced Frog Emperor with Ian McDiarmid. Could be worse. Star Wars (1977) was absolutely destroyed, however.
