2025...I am forgotten.
2025...I am forgotten
The script leaks killed this film. It never had a chance.
A GIANT FLYING AR-15
Yeah we get it, Zach.
Again, they shall be reminded
the what now
what the fuck, is this real
Yes, the whole script is batshit.
Was he on a gallon of PCP when he wrote this
blurb too long
That is one of the worst posters I have ever seen
Kek no way that's real
If you think that's bad, read the whole thing. I did.
I fucking told you faggots it was guaranteed going to be some retarded metaphor for trauma, rape, school shootings, immigration, deportation etc, and what do you know, I was right after you said I was schizo
I thought the trailer made it look cheap and awful, a typical cheesy horror, but apparently people want to see it with that amount of likes.
Also,
every child went downstairs
Even all the nigger children have two-story homes in America? I'm jealous.
Online engagement and metrics have not meant anything for the longest time due to the surplus of Indians on the internet.
No it’s not, you faggot. It has nothing to do with school shootings, it’s about a witch mind controlling people to steal their life force.
Very true for the most part. I remember the lighthouse trailer going viral and look how big of a hit that was lol
This was my most anticipated movie of the year. I like Josh Brolin, the industry was going insane over the script, and the description floating around about missing kids and the occult made it sound like someone was finally going to make MKultra conspiracy kino - a sentiment that was echoed by so many online.
Then I read the script.
What the fuck? Why the fuck did people lose their jobs over being unable to win the bidding war for this movie? It’s such a mid script. I won’t deny that it’s certainly one that has solid moments of tension and it’s structured well, but what’s the point? There’s no point to the whole thing. It’s a script that’s as empty as Josh Brolin’s kid at the end of the movie.
Whats super funny to me though is that I’ve seen some people coping online about the script and trying to say it’s fake and a decoy meant to trick people and the real film will be better.
Any agitprop that tries to enslave people is a no, atp
lol
lil niggas are T-posing fr fr
didnt even know it came in liquid form
pronouns
The trailer confirms all the beats from the script. People are dumb.
whole appeal of marketing campaign is "dude its a mystery"
script already leaked
genius
so the whole mystery is a nothing burger: there's a witch in the town who's possessing the disappearing kids, she's the aunt of the one kid who is still around, she's also possessing his parents in their house, so her nephew is forced to help her but is trying to escape her, she uses sticks from a magic tree and blood and hair to possess her victims and turn them into zombie like drones, and in the end the nephew kid manages to reverse the curse so all the kids go after the witch and kill her, then parents get their kids back but they remain empty inside
that's it
the floating giant rifle is just a dream sequence
it's just as shit as longlegs
A GIANT AR-15 JUST FLEW OVER MY HOUSE!
I thought the trailer made it look cheap and awful, a typical cheesy horror
Tbf Barbarian looked the same way and that was pretty good.
Kek
No, Longlegs was good. This will be shit.
All anyone is going to know the movie for is the floating AR. It will be webm'd and mp4'd and people will laugh at this dumb shit masquerading as a horror/mystery movie
Longlegs was good
FUCKING LMAO KILL YOURSELF
It is widely considered one of the best modern horror films. Is this some Anon Babble forced opinion?
False.
The leaked script was removed from the web but you can find summaries posted by people who read it. Evil witch possess people, kids, cops, parents, etc throughout time periods and places so that she can rejuvenate. The young teacher is innocent.
Longlegs is okay. It’s a film that has a fantastic atmosphere and a few moments that genuinely got me unsettled, but it’s not that well written and involved characters doing dumb things or not doing obvious things.
Fortunately, the leaked script wasn’t removed from the documents on my phone.
Science
So what's the message here?
guns are... le bad!
Is that it?
Cregger killed Trevor Moore and was rewarded for it.
low-budget horror film that barely made $45 million
mid-budget horror film and a $10 million salary
before the 2nd film even comes out, get handed a big horror film based on famous IP and $20 million salary + 20% first dollar gross
Yeah, none of that happens organically. Even Jordan Peele couldn't get 20/20 after Get Out and Us.
part of me believes this. dude has psycho eyes.
This kind of shit makes me wonder if witchcraft has a there-there.
And my sister thinks I'm crazy because I think Trevor Moore was murdered.
I stand by my gut feeling about it.
He got whacked
Directors who have gotten $20 million upfront and 20% of first-dollar gross:
Peter Jackson for King Kong (after the LotR trilogy)
Christopher Nolan from Dunkirk onward (after the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception and Interstellar)
Zach Cregger (after Barbarian grossed $45 million and Hollywood folks read the script for Weapons)
Makes perfect sense. It's just the rampant inflation, that's all.
But, guys, Zach Cregger is going to be the next big thing in Horror. Didn't you see Barbarian!? IT'S HIS TURN!
Damn, very Redditlegs-like, yeah.
I never ruled out the Trevor Moore/Cregger sacrifice theory, but then YT recommended me Kitty History, “Help Me” and the Illuminati skit and now I’m a belieber.
No, that’s not the message and a gun literally is used in the climax to save the day. It’s weird, there genuinely doesn’t seem to be a message. The villain doesn’t really even have a motivation, she just does shit for the love of the game.
I really dont get what is the problem with this. Why you fags are so mad?
Some people are Rtards and think it means the whole movie is a metaphor for school shootings/gun violence (spoilers: there’s nothing in the film that works as a metaphor for that) and other people just meme it for being a stupid visual in a dream sequence (which it is).
