This. All the gore effects were way too overdone, it was like watching an AI YouTube kids video. The series has always been violent but it was more about being inventive with the deaths. Here, it's just "oh you thought they were going to die this way but actually they die another, less satisfying way". Honestly FD5 knocked Bloodlines out the water when it came to creative kills and that was properly the weakest until now.
