Nolan's last legit good movie was Inception. Since then he's been ruined by the "do everything in camera" autist brain virus and his addiction to making his movies "clever"

He also lost his two best collaborators (Pfister and ZImmer) who were a good reason why his 2000s movies were so good.

Nolan's best trait is he gets bored easily with standard genre formats and tries to be creative, but also can't easily distinguish and idea being good on its own merits, or good because it "seems" impressive to pull off but has little dramatic effect.

If it was any other director I'd agree, but he somehow turned a 3-hour biopic about a scientist into a smash box office hit, so I won't put anything past him at this point.
