The show started out very strong. When the electricity and water turn off, people turn on each other very quickly and I love watching stuff like this. It really nailed how serious losing electricity is for a prolonged period of time. At first I thought this show was just going to be the mist+generic post apocalyptic movie, and I really liked the first 2 episodes.. and then the aliens are revealed... lol, lmao even. 2005 esque CGI beetles that shoot webs is supposed to be scary? It than turns into Invasion of the Body snatchers. Yawn. Darin needed the paycheck i guess

The beetles though make no sense to me. If they could instantly kill people with magic snow, why not just have the snow mind control the people and have them kill each other like they were doing? A giant beetle has to be the lamest fucking monster I've ever seen, and the cgi is terrible.
