Alien: Romulus

Damn this was kinda underwhelming.
What do you guys think of it?

I liked the pregnant lady bit and her being eaten.

it was whelming

It's one of the movies of all time.

Movie with zero identity

Cailee waking up in her undies at the beginning was the only good part

yesterday i whelmed your wife over if you know what i mean

There was a black guy in it so I didn’t watch it

Aliens=Alien=Alien romulus

it the best alien movie since the first two

bunch of teen nobody worker kids lift off into the sky and instantly find an abandon spaceship with super valuable stuff inside.

Who writes this shit?

Jews mostly

It was merely ok. The half human half xenomorph was interesting.

This

It mogged Prometheus

Based

He was actually the best actor in the movie.

Alien. High School Movie

I'm waiting for 'Alien. Family Cinema'.

AVPR has 100X the soul of this garbage.

It was still better than the last 2 Sir Ridley films. Probably the best Alien film since Resurrection.

Based chingchong

it was ok but every time they made a forced reference to the previous movies it made me roll my eyes so fucking hard

I really liked return to 80s futurism, fuck Prometheus and Covenant. movie itself was fine till they get guns and kind of shit afterwards. Still probably the best alien movie we got since Resurrection as low bar as that is.

You've never seen any of the other Alien films? There are black people in nearly all of them.

The baby was cool but the memberberries really dragged this movie down

It was enjoyable enough in theaters but I can't imagine watching it at home. Same reason I will probably skip the fx show. This movie already felt padded out, I can't imagine how much of a slog a modern tv show will be

It was shit, but Cailee was great

IMG_4971.jpg - 1200x600, 68.98K

Won't watch it its full of blacks and women

absolutely based

fuck off zoomer faggot

In EVERY one of them. And they've been the best parts. Apone and Parker carried the first halves of the first two movies. It's retarded to act like this is the first black guy in an alien movie

Yeah I thought it was probably every one of them.

She was good.

Good start until the stupid memberberries.
Supporting characters were bland and uninteresting.

I liked the characters but they really underused the aliens.

best alien movie I’ve seen

also the only alien movie i’ve seen

I was so disappointed

This was pretty much Alien: High Schoolers In Space

thes somethn in th' watha

Rain was ok, but I don't want her becoming the next "Ripley". They don't need to have the same characters continually fighting the creature over and over and over in new locations. Make a coherent story for once that can play out over many movies with a storyline that has a beginning/middle/end.

Somebody get this man an award.

It was fucking awful but slightly less awful than the previous Alien movie so people pretend it's the best thing ever
based

it was terrible

The editors were extremely smart for opening with this shot

How did they find someone 7ft plus that thin to get in that shit costume

I really liked the beginning actually. Shit got rushed and overly self-referential once the xeno shows up.

And who was missing their dong

PIT

Pretty damn good

Pretty good animatronics

its a real guy in costume hes 7ft7 (2,3m) hes got some overgrowth syndrome

Why would the director go up to the animatronics and talk to it rather than.the puppeteer? Are you retarded

not sure why, but zoomers look very out of place as actors.

5b7e.jpg - 1280x720, 118.71K

The xenos were kinda dissapointing. These idiot kids just took some guns and suddenly they could kill them easily. Even the facehuggers were a bigger problem and there were more tense scenes with them.
And then the cringe references:

Get away from her, you b-bitch

Shut the fuck, man. What bumch of annoying kids.
One of the only good things was the lanky tall hybrid at the end. At least that was little original.

3wnuip.jpg - 664x938, 137.37K

Because they look like children.

Jonesy was the best actor there.

It was kino. As great as the first four movies.

It didn’t really make any sense. An incredibly strong first act completely thrown in the trash for a second act that exists only for an endless parade of callbacks and quotes from previous movies.

Not defending them, but you're comparing it like the romulus crew is meant to be grizzled old experienced sailors. Romulus crew is supposed to be young teenagers wanting to escape their colony. Their parents are dead and they're in forced labor until they die so they want to flee. Acting like they should look 40+ years old is dumb.

people born 50+ years later look different

The age difference is obvious, wasn't really referring to that per-say. They just look out of place even for their age.

first Alien movie that doesn't have anything going for it. It's just alright. Only really works for me in the end.

Alien

Star Wars for Adults. Kino.

Aliens

popcorn scares and thrills that the whole family can enjoy. Girlpower canon.

Alien 3

Misery and terminal illness in a hopeless universe. In space no one can hear you pray. Bravest franchise movie ever, if only it was actually good

Alien Resurrection

Paul W. S. Anderson's Resident Evil. Camp classic. Perfect when TV aired movies like this on a sunday or at nights. Kinda boring these days

Prometheus

the best adaptation of At The Mountains of Madness we will prolly ever get. Star Wars for Adults 2. Script is faulty and full of issues but it only gets in the way of the kino if you really want to

Alien Covenant

Gothic horror in Space. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein 2. Struggles with being a studio movie but still delivers.

Alien Romulus

Disney's The Force Awakens. All it has going for itself is fan service and "doing things well", has nothing to really offer.

Alien > Covenant > Prometheus > Aliens > Alien 3 > Romulus > Resurrection

i want to FUCK moner and pump her FULL of semen, other than that, 'salright

And she's got a great ass too

Cry more grandpa

Covenant was too long and the ending with the fan service alien too tacked-on
Would place it on the same tier as Romulus (which would have been great if there were no broccoli soi zoomers in it)

I would hope you’re a zoomer faggot because otherwise posting like this would just be sad

covenant

above anything

almost had me there anon.

I want more David
This was ok though, nothing too interesting

So you never watched the worst movie in the franchise Alien Resurrection? Gotcha.

That lipstick and eyeliner on Moner is absolute sexo

the ending with the fan service alien too tacked-on

I was so confused with that one at first. Like I missed how that thing climbed aboard. Then realized that the one guy was facehugged/impregnated in 30 seconds, chestbursted offscreen 5 minutes later, and the alien grew to full size a minute after that and started killing people.

Loved it. It's only hated by contrarians who are mad that their "nerdy" cosmic horror franchise is liked by normies

= Aliens

I will now watch this movie you better not have memed on me

I-i'm sorry, I may have memed on you a little bit

Shit taste and reddit take
