She was such an hero, to take it all away. We miss her so, That you should know, And we honor her this day. She was an hero, to take that shot, to leave us all behind. God do we wish we could take it back, And now she’s on our minds. Pajeeta was an hero, to leave us feeling like this, Our minds are rubber, our joints don't work, Our tears fall into abyss. She was an hero, to take that shot, In life it wasn't her task, She shouldn't have had to go that way, before an decade'd past. Now she sits there in my heart, this hero of mine, Always there to make me smile, Make me feel just fine. She had courage, that poo did, courage in her heart. To take that shot, To end her pain, To tear us all apart. But in the end, she died in courage. Lacking, nevermore, She died a hero, Pajeeta did, And we'll love her forevermore.

Who was this random Jedi at the Yavin base practicing with dual lightdaggers?

I agreed to watch this show with some friends and I'm 80% certain I'm gonna cave and watch this week's and next week's on my own and then pretend to watch it with them later

That was Gloop Tampon, a former Jedi padawan with incomplete training.

Same shit happens in video games
Other team has the big gun oh shit it's so OP

Luthen isn't a Jedi.
The reveal is going to be he really was a flamboyant antique salesman, but when his gay Jedi lover died in Order 66 he dedicated his life to revenge.

What Andor gets right about the Rebellion is that you aren't some plucky hero thats going to get your name in the history books you're likely some regular joe who ends up canon fodder for the empire never to see a better tomorrow. I find that oddly comforting

Bix's goodbye to Cassian really hurt bros...

LT753Dqg.png - 728x396, 332K

Realistically, what are the odds of Jyn making an appearance in the final episodes?

Unless you're like George Washington or some other revolutionaries who definitely DO get their names in history books because their revolutions were successful and they said "Don't forget to include me in the history books!" As they cackle on their thrones of skulls. Later on what they revolutioned for becomes an evil empire that gets revolutioned again and eventually George Washington is labelled a bad guy. You can't win. As the wise Homer Simpson once said: Never try.

Extremely low

Felicity Jones had a baby and doesn't really work anymore so I kind of doubt it

sir, colonel Yularen is on line 3

what would you do in his situation bros?

Go take a shit

its Finn from the force awakens before he switched sides to the stormtroopers and then back to the rebellion again

in space

cape is blowing around

HOLY SEXOOO

Uh, everything's under control. Situation normal. Uh, we had a slight weapons malfunction, but, uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine, we're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

what would you do in his situation

SHUT IT DOWN!

Feeding the algorithm

Anyone else find Mon's speech kind of underwhelming?
Seems like the only people who would care are people who are already rebels. An average citizen seeing a senator go

Um the emperor is lying and genocided people

Would come across just as some crazy bitch

I definitely thought she was going to give her speech in front of the emperor right after he spoke since he normally has the last word and her undercutting him would add more weight but yeah I kinda hoped it would of had more stakes too it

I was expecting her to show some proof, instead of just saying that the Empire is lying.

Considering its open knowledge Tarkin bodied 500 people landing a cruiser on them its really not that big of a stretch what she was saying to the average citizen.

Why is she so hot? Seems like she got the highest costumes budget after Mothma.

The DALL-E 3 client is non-learning

I find it infuriating she's basically the perfect facial type for a Leia recast and they actively chose not to use her. Fine by me I guess I'd rather they stay away from the original story

How did Krennic rise through the Imperial ranks so quickly to basically have the ear of the emperor and his most top secret project? I was hoping this season we would see Krennic operating in the shadows more but sadly he's been little more than window dressing.

Believing the AI techbros

Isn't he a scientist and a leader, making him a little more uniquely qualified to oversee the secret projects which center more on R&D than anything else

Considering she doesn't really meet the Rebellion until the events of rogue one it would be pointless. Her father making an appearance would make more sense.

nepotism probably

Melshibros we are so back

Why did we have to waste 3 episodes on a wedding, bunch of morons in the jungle and rape planet? Maybe they could have spent those episodes making a better story for K2SO origins.

You are supposed to read this shit, I believe.

cover.jpg - 522x805, 56.91K

Doubt it. The Emperor doesn't suffer fools. All the higher ranking Imperials that had the Emperors ear were highly competent. Tarkin, Thrawn, Vader, Krennic and Yularen. What gets me is at least 3 of those were veterans of the clone wars and we know Thrawn is from Chiss so Krennic is the only outlier. He would of had to have been an important scientist in the republic to warrent Sheev keeping him on.

So, where the hell are the AT-STs? I understand stormtroopers being featured sparingly, as army troopers were the common soldiers of the Empire, but aren't AT-STs pretty ubiquitous? And aren't they used by the Imperial Army? Did RLM bully Disney into being too embarassed to use AT-STs now? It'd be like if they randomly stopped featuring TIE fighters.

ATSTATSTATST.jpg - 1280x720, 137.37K

Yeah those first 3 episodes were painfully weak. I didn't mind the wedding but speaking of what the fuck happened to Perrin?

New Glup Shitto dropt

AL1-L3: A mercenary and droid rights activist, Allie, as she has been dubbed, was once a slave of Kessel, freed in the revolt of 10 BBY. Since then she has drifted between the core and the outer rim in search of work or those in need of help. She holds no love for any government

Expecting the audience to read media outside the film to understand finer details and plot points.

I find this shit really infuriating even if you get a better answer than what you would of in film sometimes a simple exposition is fine if it isn't immersion breaking in the scene.

Sorry, but I'll need Obi-Wan to tell me about this good friend of his.

They do it on purpose, btw. To sell all this merchandise crap: books and comics, banking on FOMO. That's fucking franchising for you.

So far no reason for the empire to roll out heavy war machinery in any of the scenes. Doing so would be too heavy handed for the imperials. They definitely wouldn't of wanted to bring those in for Ghorman because the idea was to make the Empire look like a bunch of peacekeepers and walking tanks don't really scream peacekeeper.

Tarkin

Vader

Thrawn

Given the time gaps present in Rogue One it would have been possible

What was the deal with the pointless Vel scene in episode 9?

If Skeleton Crew is an indication then it's that they aren't afraid to tell a good story in the Star Wars universe without relying on nostalgia bait or "Star Wars must be like this" tism. Skeleton Crew is of course not anywhere near close to Andor but it's a good show. People would love it more if it werent for the shit show that is the rest of Disney Wars

he didn't recognize Melshi

A teaser maybe. I mean there is no way that Andor got all this buzz and they didn't talk to her right?

Do you think they were happy during those 3 years?

Same, I thought there would be more to it

Peak Glup Shitto moment

This is a good book.
At least the first three chapters are.
I know man, reading is hard. Somehow when I was 10 I read all hundred pages of TPM before it even hit theaters but now... well I gotta find the book again.

Skeleton Crew was shit. Sorry. I don't give a fuck about shallow, cynical, bland 80's nostalgia for manchildren. Jude Law was cool, but that's about it. I don't remember a thing about it.

Fortunately books are free at the library and pretty much free at the flea market, which is where all Star Wars merchandise is destined to go eventually.

manchildren

They made it for people like me who have real children who aren't interested in SW outside of Fortnite.

Sheev doesn't need the Ghormans to cooperate. There's 800K people on the entire planet, and the senate backs him whatever he does to Ghorman as we saw with the Mothma scenes. So kill them even though they would just die with the planet anyway all so that the rest of galaxy goes against you? The writers of Andor should have thought of something better to get the galaxy to rise up.

He would of had to have been an important scientist in the republic to warrent Sheev keeping him on.

Oh now I remember what the book said.
He was smart but he was like Oppenheimer, he would hang around smarter people and figure out how to manipulate them.
Namely Galen.

I'm just glad the Rakata were name dropped this season. As far as I'm concerned, KOTOR is the only logical direction to go now.

no one disputes batman is primarily made for and enjoyed by children. but imagine if there was a Batman Theory crying man on the internet who walked out of the dark knight because “the joker never kills black people, he’s evil but he’s not racist. member when irs comic panel and the nazi lololol.” batman is older and possibly more revered than the star war, but there does not exist some schism of cultural civil war in batmen. and it validates my belief that the star war is too beholden to itself, far too insisting on itself, consumers and fans all… or perhaps too addicted to offense in zeitgeist outrage.

When I saw that scene I first thought that the ISB was going full glowie false flag. That they'd orchestrate that the Ghor storm the admin building, and the droids were there to make sure that there were plenty civilian casualties among the unarmed Imperial workers.

For the people that didn't like rogue one, does andor makes the movie better for you?

I don't know. I've only seen it once and I hated it

I hated the first two thirds of rogue one, but enjoyed the last third mainly for the actual ship combat. But I do like Andor. It's really the only live action star wars show that's paced well and I got to admit I smiled when the ghorman bell hop said "rebellions are built on hope". That was such a subtle George like pottery that someone like Filoni could never do.

mandalorian ended on season 2 for me

don't give a shit about the orange jedi bitch

rey movie or any sequel era movie (LMAO)

Once Andor ends star wars is over for me

No. I rewatched it recently and there is way too many one liners and jokes. The pacing seems off and the near immediate acceptance of following Jyn was unbelievable.

All this Yavin focus got me irrationally hoping for a Wedge appearance with a recast actor, but then I remembered the nucanon made him a limp dicked cuck and retconed all of stackpoles books.

Nah. The movie has structural problems you can’t undo and the central story isn’t as interesting as they think. Perhaps it could have been done better in longform like Andor itself? Developing the father, his betrayal, cementing the relationship with the daughter (genuinely can’t remember her name). Getting us invested in the misfit team. All better in a serial format.
But then Andor is still the least interesting character in the show bearing his name. They’ve done more with Mothma and Luthen as far as depicting the rebellion, costs and motivations.
Andor was never really on board as the latest episode establishes and his big motivation is the girlfriend ditching him? That’s frankly embarrassing.

It makes rogue one worse.

Jyn Erso is their in but luthen and saw know each other through mr bombastic.
Saw stands there waiting to die.
Andor says fuck these bureaucrats and helps jyn like he's new at being conflicted.
The rebels just stand around doing nothing after getting to yavin with no intelligence (if that pilot didn't defect they would have been fucked harder than mon mothma at a rhydonium processing station on jedha). The stakes for rogue one are not actually established by andor because none of them have agency.

I always like Rogue One because it was exactly the sort of "no Jedi" war movie I always wanted.

I would love a 12 episode season format for rogue one where the first 3 episodes focus heavily on Saw and Jyn during her early years as a guerilla fighter. Frankly, just keep paying Whitaker to go on screen and be crazy space gas huffing terrorist man. It's pure kino.

You'll be back for Ryan Gosling

It's only sw the movie I'll consider giving a try in a theather

That's an entertaining hypothesis. All we can do is wait and see.

literally who are you

I always thought it was butchered during editing. Watch the trailer for Rogue One. It makes more sense than the whole movie and has the right feel that they lost during editing. A shame, really, considering all the slop we got.

it's literally me

so disappointed with how syril reacted and died
he and deadra were supposed to go home and live happily ever after

sequel era

No

They re-did a bunch of shit. Saw was originally supposed to go with the crew and not die on Jedha. There were entirely different battle scenes filmed on Scarif. The re-shoots were massive. The post production editing gutted the movie. This was around the same time that the original Solo directors got sacked too. The fact that Andor has come out in this amazing state in unironically shocking considering Disney's track record of interference.

Andor is among the most greatest things my eyes hath ever lain and I was bored during most of rogue one. it is not a compelling film and I always felt the effort toward a father daughter dynamic thus sTaR wArS vIbEs was sand in the plot of stealing from the empire

Andor isn't nu anything

So the Star Wars kino list is basically:

Empire Strikes Back

Andor

Revenge of the Sith

Genndywars

Mando season 1 and 2

Anything missing?

no anh

thrawn trilogy
rogue/wraith squadron

You're missing the point. Everyone already knew the empire was lying. It's just that everyone was afraid to call them out.

You know who I am.
I am your worst nightmare. I am a security officer of Morlana 1. I am the son of Edie Karn. You've lost Andor!

General Hux is Syril's son

I liked when Andor just blew away the driver who'd been turned by the speech, lol

Same girl

Mando is pleb shit for people that confuse plot with vidya quests.

I will be courageous and brave and say the lightsaber episode of the acolyte. there’s one shot where squid game guy force pulls a lightsaber into his hand and in all lazer sword cinematography and choreography, that singular plate is the actual best

seething israelis

that show is treated unfairly

Was he turned?

You are both sniveling faggots. That is all.

It is because of the shitty MC and retarded plot. But Squid Game Guy and the villain are actually Kino.
Too bad they weren't put into a show with more substance

The end of episode 8 made me tear up with the help broadcast. It's the emotion that George Lucas probably wanted to evoke with this scene

I would start peeing

I think it was good.
Concise and getting to the heart of the matter, people just accepting lies and ignoring truths.
She can't prove anything in a speech, she can just tug on what they all already know deep down.

another three episodes without my boy

he's gonna show up in the last three, r-r-r-right?

OT

Andor

That's it.
ANH+ROTJ>power gap>ROTS

I will be courageous and brave and say the lightsaber episode of the acolyte.

Alright I'll add Acolyte to my watchlist due to your bravery.

just watch the lightsaber episode. rest of the show is cw trash and honestly feels like the entire production hinges around the lightsaber episode anyway

k2

so disappointed with how syril reacted

It was one of the kino moments in this show
Everything is breaking down for him and he almost sees things for what they are just to see Andor the last moment and then he just goes full cope. Extremely fitting end for him it was only jarring how he died.

Watch episode 4 first and skip episode 7 or skip both flashback episodes

the force isn't very kind to andor huh

I think BB-8 is the cutest, even though he's from the sequels.

So its basically confirmed Cassian is force sensitive?

The force is all around us

I love being penetrated by the force

I love creating energy fields. midichlorine.

B23mo is the most useless one that's for sure, no wonder they left his ass on rape planet

No, but the force moves strongly around him

My nigga BD Wong, I really like the design

BD-1_AG.png - 600x910, 423.2K

Is that the same one from the vidya game?

yularen doesn’t speak with the clone wars narrator voice

Shame

Perrin’s going to narkina 5. Leida will speak out against her mother and potential be fine. Sculdun is getting executed.

RotS is a total turd and always has been.

Based and SWpilled.

I don’t know. She kind of revealed she was an ISB operative immediately. Didn’t tell anyone who her team mates were either or that she killed one of them. 3 rebels went in, one disappeared. One saved mothma. Nobodies the wiser.

I literally didn't pay attention to any of it except the "truth is important guise" part because the show itself didn't seem overly concerned with it. Whole thing was drowned out by the music and 70% of it was just her intro. I can't stand the fucking blaring music this season.

Was he turned?

When they show him during her speech he's got like a look of realization on his face, and he breaks orders from his superior to go up to look for her, not taking the gun he'd had at the ready with him

Bix should have gone into the forest and stuck a gun in her mouth.
