that's because there is no real connection between the films. it's just a list I add films to when I want to remember them, either to look more into later and possible add to my watchlist/watch or just to remember a specific film that people shitpost about occasionally, and that pic is just the list shuffled randomly. I'm trying to trim it down because it's at nearly 7k films now. here's another random shuffle. any of these good?
i've stopped watching foreign films with subtitles on, even if i don't know the language. i noticed while watching a mario bava western that i wasn't enjoying it because i spent all my time looking at the bottom of the screen instead of letting my eyes rove around the image. when i turned off subtitles i enjoyed it. i don't think i've understood what the hell was happening in any of the films i've watched since, but i did enjoy them
Luckily the film I got is a Hong Kong b movie with Cynthia Rothrock so subs probably only hinder the experience

that's some of the stuff, there's ofc more, but also i don't know for how much of this there are english subtitles, City Zero / Zerograd is fairly well known so it should have those, Baskova films as well, idk about the others
there's also a more obscure movement "Parallel Cinema", idk if you can even find some of the films from there on trackers, maybe Karagara, but they're actually out in the open on VK, i myself found out about the movement through a VK group called zen xiu which uploads arthouse cinema from all around the world to VK, most of the films of Parallel Cinema movement are either shorts or mid-length films tho, i remember only one director from the wave by name - Evgeny "Debil" Kondratiev, he has a role in Tractor Drivers 2 as well
