How the fuck did he survive?

Because the old bloke spared some expense after all

Immediate medical care.

Technically he should have been fine just hanging there, because he was just on the fence, the electricity has no reason to flow through him since he's not near the ground, it would flow through him to pass from the wire to the ground but otherwise he's not very conductive. But at some point he does have to come down from there.

He was letting go at the same time so only got a slight blast

Movie magic

electric fences are high voltage, not high current, voltage hurts to scare animals but it doesn't kill you, it's the current that can fry your heart if it's too high

it's a movie

What dinosaur would you prefer to get killed by?

He was lucky

Can I survive without any injury instead? I would like that.

Why did spielberg have a grown man kiss a young boy

Does Grant throwing the stick work to see if it would be on or not?

Wood is very not conductive so no

Yep if you are close enough it will smell a bit like ozone

AAAAAAAAAHAAAHAHAAHAHAHHHHHHAHAHHHHHHH

no, throwing a stick would not work to check if the fence is electrified

As you can see from Grant being just fine after being electrocuted, electricity's danger to humans is nonexistent in adults and only partially present for children. Babies are still susceptible so avoid putting babies on powerlines.

WHO AM I SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE???

How the fuck did he survive?

ozone is not real

so simple yet so good

avoid putting babies on powerlines.

megger

I loved that scene so much

i hate meggers

Is just three molecules of oxygen smells like a shortcircuit

Fart

sticks are made of wood, not ozone

30 milliamps is enough to kill you if you're unlucky, don't go touching electric fences

.1 amps kills you

then how come my house which is on a 20 amp circuit not able to kill me (despite REALLY hurting)?

But at some point he does have to come down from there.

Get about 5 feet from the ground and jump

Stick makes link between the lines not enough for a lightning enough for a bit of smell, seriously if it's your life you pay attention

household current can definitely kill you if they pass through your heart, how are you getting 20 amps through your body exactly? modern residual-current circuit breaker (RCCB) will close electricity as soon as 5–30 mA are lost from the circuit, do you have an installation from the stone age?

wood is literally just sugar

It's just electricity anon.

only Liquorice is made out of sugar, you can suck on it, but normal wood is made out of paper and chemicals and doesn't taste good

liquorice.jpg - 554x554, 66.96K

nigga wood is glucose alternately flipped upside down

i've eaten a lot of sticks as a kid, and none of them tasted sweet, only liquorice, science is wrong in this case

It's just electricity anon.

CPR to start his heart after it stopped beating

20 minutes

i'd rather die of electricity, sorry

science

Retard kid

I don't trust electricity. It's always the shittiest form of damage in vidya except for maybe pokemon

Literally have to be dumb enough to sit in some stupid chair that needs an entire generator to harm you. Only bitches get hurt by electricity.

retard thinks he'll just run away when prison guards are leading him to an electric chair.

Stupidity is intellect flipped upside down.

electricity is so mysterious

I still think Tim and Lex could have squeezed through the gaps... he's pretty much crawls half through it when he falls a little.

I would buy one of this and install it on my front door so any guests would have to prime it by pumping it three times, then pushing the button marked "Push to Close" in order to ring the doorbell.

If they'd had more time they might have thought it through more, but Rex roaring nearby means quick thinking

i'd just knock on your door

where can i get a job as a electric chair calibrator

He let go of the fence pretty much immediately when the power came on so the shock was just a very brief moment. That definitely helps it be less lethal.
The inaccurate part was Dr. Grant bringing him back with CPR. CPR by itself doesn't restart your heart, it just buys you time until real medical help arrives. But this inaccuracy happens all the time in movies.

That would shock you

not if i don't prime it by pumping it 3 times

Precisely.

it's even dumber that he's still so far up after Grant and the sister are already done. Clearly Grant would've been watching for him and helping along the way.

That's not how it works. They post videos on Anon Babble of people dying instantly by just touching something briefly.

direct your attention to

the button that says püsh to close

pÜsh it

He didnt.

he's a Anon Babble poster

HE'S TRYING TO BREAK IN WITH A PDF FILE

Household electrical is constant 120Vac and the current is dependent on the load. The human body is millions of ohms (resistance to current flow) unless you wet and cut open, so you're essentially a low current load. Unless you grab it with both hands current will likey not flow through you heart too.
