Oh no no no no hahahahah

Doesn't matter

Its over

Yeah, it's literally the last movie in the series.

Oh no no no no hahahahah

For the love of God, go back.

I can't. I was banned from the S*arty.

1-4 on the list of highest-grossing movies are either as long or longer than that and this one is guaranteed to be far better than the last one because it wasn't filmed with a bunch of restrictions imposed on it.

it's literally the last movie in the series.

Tards unironically believe this?

I’m excited for another mission impossible movie

Based. Tom always gives us kino

If it's more of tom cruise brushing to close to death itself doing stunts i'm down since he's basically the last superstar stunt actor

8?
I didn't even watch 6 and 7

Cruise is washed.

The Plane Scene was 10 minutes. Cruise snooze? Where's Cavill's clone?

It's only set to make $73 million over the four day Memorial Day weekend, on par with the last one. Sad!

The problem with Dead Reckoning Part 1 is that they didn't even have a fucking script. Probably the case with Final Reckoning. Cruise had $450 million fucking dollars. Perfect your script! Top Gun Maverick had a perfected script even though they j0000ed Eric Singer's cousin out of credit and money, that lawsuit is fucking unreal btw.

why are movies so long these days?

i don't need 40 minutes of panoramic views

I saw the film.

Ethan dies in a self-sacrifice but they still somehow disavow him even after saving the whole world. Hayley Atwell's character joins the IMF and the last scene is her at a memorial wall drawing an honor star for Ethan together with the rest of the fallen and then walking away. Luther dies. Benji survives. The Greg Tarzan Davis character carries on Ethan's legacy. He's an affirmative action character but not as annoying as he could've been.

Me and my dad are gonna go watch this we seen every one in theatres

CHICKEN JOCKEY

I'm not, they've become so predictable and formulaic, they almost feel like a marvel/fast and furious movie. they're bloated with too many characters, everytime the MI group is not onscreen and they go back to the boring villain or the agents chasing ethan, it kills the pacing.
as for the stakes, ultimately, nothing of consequence ever happens because tom cruise always wins every single challenge/obstacle.
I'd go as far as saying the ''amazing'' stunt scenes from cruise have started to hurt the movie at this point because, like marvel is infamous for doing, they come up with the action scenes first, then they write the scene around it, but its biggest flaw is how disjointed it feels from the rest of the movie, changing the established direction, since they have to film with different equipment and weird angles, it's great for tiktok clips, but drags a lot for a film.
as for the plot, the evil AI is super retarded, the two submarine keys is even more so, also, I don't believe rebecca ferguson is really dead, a fakeout would probably the easiest and less creative way to trick and beat the AI at some critical moment, right as ethan seems to be cornered.

They stopped being movies around the 4th one and just started being a checklist of stuff to put in a MI movie.

It’s the final mission, stupid asshole.

Nobody but you watched the last one, clown.

They will milk this shit for decade. 9, and 10, 11 they have Tom being mentor for young empowering female, tranny and nigger. After that Ethan Hunt gets nuked saving his wife son and never mentioned again in MI 11-20.

yes, they became tom cruise's vanity project, he, all high on adrenaline, said, ''ok, I want to jump off a cliff on a motorcycle, how do we make this into a movie?'' and nobody stopped him.
people were onboard at first, because the scenes were better justified and were fun to see him doing crazy shit, like, him climbing the burj khalifa in ghost protocol was so iconic, people remember that scene more than the actual ending at that weird moving parking lot, unlike the most recent stunts that are all so forced, for the latest one now apparently he will be climbing a flying biplane, something he kinda already did on rogue nation.

Makes half a billion dollars

Only you watched it

Engage your brain once in a while.

last one was unbearably long

The length wouldn't have been an issue if LITERALLY ANYTHING HAPPENED throughout the runtime.

I will watch every single minute of it

Tom cruise is actually insane.
This shit is going to be like The room levels of what the fuckery

Cruisechads, we keep winning

I'll go against my own code and trust Cruise on this one.

Did TG Mav have some gay-ass love triangle side story like the first one? I'm wondering if I should watch it or not.

No ‘becca, no watch.

Simple as.

but when it is out? i must see the conclusion. fricking cliffhanger movie endings

Oppenheimer was 3 hours long and was a hit.

Mission impossible is honest Kino. Never pretended to me something it's now.

Good

I wanna see long cruise kino, also at a later date at home

it's literally the last movie in the series.

There will be sequels and spin offs. Tom Cruise will be in them, but more of a supporting role because Ethan Hunt is getting too old to be a field agent.

You don't grow tired of the incessant disavowal/redemption arcs?

Would be kino if they aged him out gracefully and the franchise shifted into intellectual thrillers like Michael Clayton or Tinker, Tailor.

Mission Impossible 8

8

Jesus Christ.

70+ years old man who’s a supporting actor sitting in a chair is the same as a late 50s male lead doing a stunt

They've honestly been pretty consistent in quality. Hell, for me Fallout, the sixth one, is the best one, though the seventh one has the kinoest stunt.

Its not value for money, its boring.

Cruise control has the only really compelling bargain in movies these days. Real stunts and good CG. Lots of action. Lots of carnage, fireballs, wrecked cars and airplanes big stunt shit. Long runtime so you squeeze every drop out of that big screen and dolby ear rape experience.
Fair enough Xenu. I will take that bargain even for ridiculous cinema prices, because the home experience of real blockbuster action is always worse.

Who else is actually trying these days? James Cameron, sort of, kind of. Too bad it’s all Avatar until he dies. Can’t fault the results. Seriously who else?
Ridley claims he’s trying but has released stinker after stinker that really isn’t putting in effort.
Fury Road was a must see in cinema but Furiosa sucked and compromised exactly what made the first one great for big screens.
I don’t really like Nolan but he has success and does shoot the big stuff for big screens.
McQuarrie obviously.

Cracked me up when Cavill character tried to convince his boss that Ethan has turned, by basically saying "we fucked him over so many times, maybe he's finally had enough".

Yes

They should have Ethan take up the role Jim Phelps had in a TV reboot. For years and years Cruise was the one who would always shoot down MI TV revival pitches because he basically claimed the series as his own by that point
